Thank God for you, Marvin! I'm creating my first shipping template now (and getting ready to list my first fbm, as well). I could not do it without this video!
In the very beginning of the video you dropped a Major Gem ! I’ve came across many TH-cam videos and this is by far the most informative and comprehensible video. Thank you!
Thank you for this video! I see a lot of videos on FBA, but not too many videos on FBM. And being that I have limited capital I was looking to start FBM to save money with shipping and get sales faster.
Thank you for the information. I am based in Turkey and would like to sell my own manufactured products in the U.S. through the FBM program. Currently, I already sell some of my products via FBA. However, I want to use the FBM model specifically for wholesale orders. I’ve listed my products, but it’s been 20 days without any sales. My Sponsored Products ads have also been running for 20 days, but there are still no results. Do you have any suggestions for me on how I can improve sales? Thank you.
Great video! I do have one question 🙋♀. Assuming the shipping template is set up perfectly, we know that items under a pound typically cost around $4 to ship. However, what about items weighing 3 pounds, 5 pounds, or more? What tools or rules of thumb do you use to ensure you’re 100% certain of the shipping cost when sending out an item on time? (This is what brakes or Makes FBM Sellers) Love the video and looking forward to your reply!
@@MarvinTV1 Might have single handedly saved my back haha. The price of the 1 on 1 training you offer is super competitive. Im not in the position to pay that up front right now but ive been going all in the past few weeks and have had some really solid FBM sales as well. Still waiting on my FBA inventory to check in but I am extremely serious about taking this business to the moon. Im putting in the world quite literally all day everyday taking action. Hopefully we can connect and I could be a great testimonial for you in the future.
I've been selling books/media FBA for about nine years. Keep thinking of switching either to FBA or eBay just so that I can stay in control of my own inventory. I never have over 300 units listed at any one time, mostly because finding FBA-profitable inventory in my driving area is almost dead now. I don't know how switching to FBM would affect this. But, I'd still face the same huge number of restrictions that Amazon has bombarded me with in recent months, even though I still have the same 100% feedback rating and exact metrics I always have. eBay definitely has the advantage in this, but I hate the idea of the photo & listing requirements that they have in place. So, I'm on the fence about it all.
I don't understand why some TH-camrs don't show step-by-step demonstrations of how to work with FBA or FBM. Instead, they just talk about it while sitting in a chair. If you want to teach people how to do something, please show them exactly how it's done!
I'm ticked off with Amazon.. I got approved to sell a certain product, so I went pretty heavy on purchasing inventory from my distributor.. Just to get the product in hand to try and list it and find out that I'm hard restricted on the item as well as tons of Q4 products.. Now I'm sitting on a couple hundred of these units, and I can't move them at all!!!!! What gives? Talk about discouraging!!! What should I do? Jusst weather out the storm?? I'm hard restricted on sooooo many products that it's ridiculous!
@MarvinTV1 Yeah, I spent waaaay too much time trying to get a straight answer out of seller support. Each person I spoke to told me something different. I did some digging, and I guess I didn't meet holiday guidelines that I didn't know existed.. Then again, support won't tell you that. They just tell you to keep checking back. Yeah, I'm cross listed. I'm hoping that they will start to move eventually. I haven't sold one yet. 😕
Hi, I want to create a gift set that includes 4 different ideas and will come from different suppliers. Can i send all 4 items to amazon so that they can create the gift set, or do i package the gift set myself and then send it to amazon to ship to customers? Thanks very much.
Massive drawback of FBM is that the product is not listed under "Prime" Shipping. This alone takes many potential customers because they lose the guarantee of 1-2 day shipping. Its a massive thing to keep in mind when making this decision.
what if I am dropshipping the item? I wouldn't do "Buy Shipping" right? I am trying to figure out how to take the Amazon sale to the supplier and get them to fulfill the order
Hey Thankyou great video!Do I add shipping to my price if I give free standard shipping?I probably won’t win the buy box for fbm if I do that though,Right?

Hello Marvin, what would you do if your FBM offer isn't eligible for featured offer? I have several FBM asins experiencing this despite being fastest in shipping (to some states) and cheapest in price.
Do people actually pay those premium shipping prices? 30-50 dollars seems excessive for weights you mentioned. Am I missing an opportunity to bank shipping costs? 😂
Hi, Marvin! New seller, here. I was just approved to sell products in the Grocery & Gourmet Foods category. I found a product that is not available anywhere on Amazon that I think could be profitable for me, but I still have to get approved for this particular brand. Do you think it's ok to start with just 1 product listing?
Hi! Current Beginner Amazon seller here! From what I know is that it’s best to avoid doing that! I think it’s best and from what I’ve experienced to just get on a listing that already exists and you know gets sales! if you make a listing for a product and then buy that product, it’s just a lot riskier since you don’t know how well that product will do, but you can always try it!!

You still get a ton of sales doing FBM. Especially during the key times of year like I mention in the video.
when you give free shipping and no cost on the standard shipping do you eat the cost on your profits?
Correct so you only do that when you have the margin to cover it. If not it wouldn’t make sense.
@@MarvinTV1 so if you dont have the margin to cover it will you ever put a small shipping cost or up the price a little?
@@maxshermoen5934 exactly. Add it in to the price. We have to factor it into our margins.

During the holiday season, absolutely.
So when you offer free shipping does that mean you’re responsible for paying the shipping??
Correct, so make sure you take that into account when calculating your profit.
Thank you!
What do you mean Standard Shipping is covered by Amazon? I'm doing FBM.
You cover all shipping with FBM but we give customers free shipping for standard shipping orders. You don't have to, that's just how I structure it.
