A historical artificial glacier of Ursi...
Ursi village is 135 km far from Leh City which is situated at khalsi block,there are only 16 houses and 140 people's live together, everybody knows ursi village is beautiful village and pure organic farming village after the Takmachik village but water is too short and there are not any single of glacier for product water at village,all the villagers are dependent of snow and rain water but all the villagers are too innovative and master mind one day they all are gather and discuss about the how to do artificial glacier but luckily they found extremely very good spot,around 2015 they start to collect meterials in winter of 2015 they struggle too much for their ambition after struggling the one and half year they got their result on front of our eyes...still they are continuous to do every winter..This artificial glacier was providing millions of water every year the end of August.After 2015 the wate shortage is too much improved with the blessing of artificial glacier and hardwork of the hero's of villagers.There are so many ice stupas have to seen in Ladakh but artificial glacier is one and only in Ursi village...
