this game is so nostalgic for me. i had this game when i was 3 years old back in 2005. but then i got a ps1 in 2006 and a ps2 in 2007 and for some reason my mom took away my snes (probably since i had other console). and then from 2006/2007 onward i started forgetting this game and until yesterday (9/24/2022) i thought this game was just a fever dream. but then i was searching some games on my snes station on my psw earlier today and found this game. i am just glad it wasn't a fever dream. i wish i could go back to 2005 or even 2004.
amazing how the SNES was kicking so much ass in 1996. If Sega didn't have like 3 failed consoles in a row they'd have the same success. 1996 we had DKC3, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Mario RPG, Hangtime, and MK3 Ultimate! These are incredible games for a SNES!
Absolutely, as I was rocking the SNES that year...It showed how good the system was (and still is). Sega Genesis was doing the same in 95 with X-Men 2 - Clone Wars, Vectorman, NBA Jam TE, NBA Live 96, NHL 96, Madden NFL 96, Deion Sanders Prime Time Football, Primal Rage and some other games.
I feel the the SNES version felt liked it reached its limits meaning that it wasn’t meant to be on the SNES but managed to make it happen. That’s what I liked about it. And the music like the main menu theme sounds like it’s a swan song for the system even though the SNES didn’t end in North American until 1998 when Frogger was the last game released. I mean I had a SNEs and not a Genesis and I first discovered it on SNES when my cousin was playing it.
Screw this game. When I was a kid my older brother would play this with me and would let me goaltend every damn time he shot but would never explain what that meant I WAS FOUR
Is there a way to do the regular season and beat all the other teams without a « created player »? Basicly I want to do the « story mode » with the regular roster. Thanks.

When you possess the ball for too long and gives you an amount of seconds to shoot it. ...#SHOOTTHEBALL!! That's the arcade and n64 version with 4 seconds before Shot Clock violation lol... hope this helps and btw NBA hang time im in the zone is the song
That Midway couldn’t call NBA Jam because for some godawful reason the NBA gave the license to Acclaim despite them not making the original game... this should’ve probably been called NBA Jam Hangtime.
Im going to come out from my rock and say this but after playing all 4 versions of this game, ive come to this conclusion........ 1.ARCADE-ROCKS!!!!! 2.Nintendo64-Passable 3.SegaGenesis-Semi-Passable 4.SuperNintendo-Meh....Borderline lol And for those who think im wrong, feel free to do research yourself.
I know. I've downloaded MAME4droid 0.37b5 and 0.139u1 on the samsung note and i can't find a rom for either of those... i will run MAME on my HP pavilion g6 laptop - but it needs the fan replaced first. Higan emu alone is heating it up like crazy lol
Eden tification with the ARCADE Engine of this game, I don't think it'll be compatible with mobile gadgets and if you do get it to work on android, the graphics will be very shitty so your best bet is not only replacing that heating fan but to also find out about a cooling fan so you can extend your awesomeness for hours on end , its worth it

Genesis/Mega Drive - It works. Intro for the fire looks more realistic to kickstart the game by Developers Funcom. (Never played this version) 4. SNES - Alright I suppose (currently have this version) ...
