Thanks for your reaction! ❤ The choreo is so cute and so easy to do 👉👈👆👆 the guys are amazing dancers but they always think of easy and memorable steps of their dances for elf to do.
The only thing that I don't like is that a word can be used in many contexts and one needs to understand in what context the word is being used rather than straight up hating on it. They can't just change the title track after the last stage of album production making an album in itself requires a lot of money. The word over here isn't being used in the context women think it is being used. D&E love you and I love this comeback
I'm not extremely sensitive about social issues, but that title really was ill advised, even though Im sure they didn't mean to be offensive against women. Just to give you an idea, 10 years ago Bigbang's Seungri had a song with the same title (with a cameo by Blackpink's Jenny) where he literally "headbutts" the female dancer in the tv show performance. As if that weren't bad enough in itself, of course after Seungri's scandal it says even more about his extremely questionable attitude towards women. I don't know if people remembered this in particular and I don't speak Korean well enough to judge the connotations of the term myself, but it does seem to be problematic, so Im not only sad that the controversy will affect promotions but Im a little disappointed in D&E. And another thing I dislike and that Ive mentioned several times in connection with D&E and also many others like EXO SC is their use of Western girls as "trophies" or ideals even when songs aren't primarily targeted to the western market as if Asian women weren't good enough. That started with SM's first boy group H.O.T. and their mv "Candy".
@@haruru-hae D&E canceled the TV show performances of the song due to audience complaints about the title, that's a fact not speculation. And Seungri's performance is still on YT, you can watch it yourself to see how offensive it is.
@@aligensa I know that the TV show was cancelled because some fans disputed it, but the title was approved by the TV station. I mean, the word itself is good, but some fans have extended explanations for it.
@@haruru-hae But again, look at Seungri's TV performance. The TV stations obviously passed that as well, and it is much more offensive. And D&E themselves took it seriously, canceled and apologized, so I think that is actually most significant. What music shows censor mostly has to do with things that some might regard as too risqué, it's not about feminism or other "political correctness". On the contrary, (G)I-DLE's "Wife" got banned for being to feminist. It's common knowledge that SK still has some catching up to do regarding women's rights, so mainstream media arent the standard in this regard.

If you are not Korean, don't speculate. This song title has passed the review of all Korean TV stations.
