    Has there ever been more soul-massaging movements within one musical work? It's only my meager and humble opinion, (an admittedly untrained composer and musician), but I consider Shaherazade THEE musical masterpiece of The Earth; time immemorial.

    Violinsolo by Joseph Silverstein. It is strange not to mention this!

      A lot of great solo work throughout the orchestra.

      @@DaddyWri But the violin solo part is pivotal and almost like a violinconcerto. It should be mentioned who is the concertmaster....
