I wait for highs or lows to be taken out, then a market structure shift, then a pull back to the FVG and I'm in. You way is less complicated and goes with a trend. Thanks for the video. Hi pat. One issue I have is that you're placing a limit order eg. for a sell at the bottom of the FVG. At the time you place the limit order you don't know if that candle that comes back into the FVG will close inside the FVG or possibly continue above it which would invalidate the trade? By that time the limit order would have already been opened...Confused me now. Nice strategy Keep up the good videos

Hey Pat, Do you use the SB with specific pairs/indexes or see that some work better than others? I’d guess it works well with the bigger majors or anything high vol for the time frame chosen.
Thoughts: $2000.00 across 4 trades evenly. Based on the back testing and the 80% rate, you should statistically win all the time. However, if you drop the $2000.00 on one trade, you run the risk of hitting the losing 20%. Am I on the right train of thought on this matter??
just a reminder he backtested 100 trades not 1000 and with this strat you can take up to 2 trades in a day so 100 trades isn't even a year, performance in my backtest so far is great but not the WR he has, more like 50-60% still a good strat as for now. I will backtest over a year for now i'm 3 months in and this december and november were insane but january 2023 it wasn't. So overall great strategy man i encountered 2 of your strat videos and both look great but don't think your W/R and performance in your test cannot be taken as granted
Where and when do you enter? Do you wait till the candle that test the FVG closes before entering, or you set a limit order and wait for price to come into the FVG?
I prefer to do a market execution when I see a reaction to the FVG, and momentum slowing as we get to the FVG. If the price blows through it, it's invalid.

I tend to stick to low spread currencies when possible, to give myself the best conditions to win any trade whether I'm using an ICT strategy or any other trading method.

Generally, I prefer market execution, after I've seen market momentum slow into my gap, but you'll miss a lot of trade opportunities like this.

What about when the Ema is crossing price action and is really indecisive?
You can avoid those markets, or backtest to see how the strategy reacts. Maybe you will find an edge there.
