I’m glad you found your peace at this company because I couldn’t last for more than 9 months, I’m sorry to say but Indigo doesn’t have a good employee friendly policy especially for the cabin crew. I was educated enough to identity this but there were people who joined post completion of their high school and the intellect for them was only limited to “money and travel”
Whereas I wanted a company which pays descent and also treats employees with respect but the kind of body shaming, insult and harshness that a crew at indigo has to go through is simply out of proportion. Moreover the company doesn’t even support their crew in case there is any customer mishap where the customer is responsible. So much for customer satisfaction.
Surely the job of a crew pays well, there are allowances and incentives but would you settle for being on the brink all the time where the company doesn’t stand by you ?
When I say I’m educated enough, consider this coming from a PhD scholar who’s prime area of study is employee satisfaction in the Indian aviation industry and the statistics aren’t promising enough for companies like Indigo, SpiceJet and go air. Vistara is still doing better in this aspect, thought the company is still budding in the Indian aviation sector but it is still promising compared to the other airlines.
This message is to the people who are willing to join as a cabin crew and I’ve simply stated my perspective. Choose wisely people.
