Customizable in the app. I usually get headphones at the $100 price point so I expected perfection on these and certainly got it. Out of the box, bass is rich, treble isn't distorted. The anc and hear through features work very well. I had no trouble hearing and having a conversation with the hear through turned on. Anc was very good as well, blocked out almost all background noise and minimise nearby loud construction sounds. I'm a runner, so comfort is important. Never once have I felt the need to push these back in my ears, and have been comfortable for longer runs. I like the membrane buttons, I hate touch controls so the design of these is excellent to give you a physical button without sacrificing style. I had having to pull out phone out for controls so the custom button layout is a big plus. The companion app is great for customizing so many of the features and just works. No fuss. Overall it's a high quality product that you're getting at the premium price point.
