It seems that the prosthetics and body paint were a lot for the actor to deal with. The full-body paint and prosthetics were reduced to the sort of blue face paint and cheap-looking wig you would find in a store.
You really can't blame her. Buddy Epsen was originally cat as the tin man in The Wizard of Oz but had to drop out because he became seriously ill from the aluminum dust in the make-up used for the costume which also took hours to apply.
Unless she had a major reaction to the prosthetics then this is what she signed up for--a multi million dollar franchise with multiple movies in the works that would make her very wealthy. But Lawrence has always seemed privileged and spoiled even though she didn't grow up this way. She has a low tolerance for BS and the costume was too high for her. Plenty of young Hollywood actors that will fit the bill.

So She had a hard time playing make believe for a living & making money others only dream of. What an ungrateful attitude. She could have answered" It was tough, but I got through it. The makeup artists got better & more efficient as time went on, and made an uncomfortable situation bearable" She knew what she contracted to do from the start,then goes on national tv bitching about it. There were other actresses that would have gladly took the role,& probably would have been more grateful.
We’ve all seen Avatar … we KNOW they could’ve done the whole thing with computers … So what is the production problem or did they just wanna get her “nakey” to put body paint on her ? 🤔🤔🤔
Dude, these are professional make up artists, creating a character already established in the comic books. They didn't take the job so they could get her "nakey"
Why do all that work when we have the tech we do and not just be painted green then get cgi especially since she wasn’t in that form the whole time I’m sure it would’ve taken less time than the makeup

The outfit looked terrible on her, super cheap. It was no fault of Jennifers, they put way more money into Rebecca's Mystique costume.

No stop it. The franchise was poorly planned and inconsistent. It's a waste of time trying to make sense of it.
