- New street food challenge!!! Well, it’s the same street food challenge but in a different country: India! We are hitting the streets of Old Delhi in search of the best Indian street food. When you are in Delhi, the best place to satisfy your culinary desires is Chandni Chowk. This is where traditional foods meet new-age flare, where some recipes have not changed in decades, while others have gone extreme. You do not want to miss this episode! Can we successfully feed our family of five on $15 worth of street food? Will Forest make it through this challenge?

ABOUT US
We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. We hope that our travels will inspire and provide our children with the confidence to meet new people, try new foods, and enjoy learning a new language. We hope our vlogs will inspire you to get out and travel, too!

It's amazing to see how you guys are managing the whole family in a foreign country, walking through busy crowded streets, extremely well behaved and sweet kids, such a lovely and inspiring family. A tip from fellow Indian, whenever you go try street foods here, you can ask vendors to tone down the spices for you and please carry water bottle or some sweet beverage (non-carbonated one's) with you, welcome to India, Hope you're enjoying it here so far, Stay safe❤.

Going through different places, crowded, noises, etc which is totally different from the place where you guys belong, it's really amazing how you manage to make such cool vlogs. The kids are getting accustomed to spices etc.

Hats of to the kids. They had guts to try all the different kinds of food and some of it is spicy. I am an Indian living in Europe and my 8 year old daughter even never tries all the food when we are in India. The kids are so sweet. Special kudos to the younger one who is sleeping :)

When u eat spicy Indian food, make sure u ask for yoghurt, curds in Indian language it's called dahi. It balances d spiciness. U guys r very challenging to experiment Indian cruzine d street food. It kids r so adorable. Bless ur family

It can't be coriander. It is used in savory dishes. The one you ate is a type of dry seeds used quite commonly in sweet dishes.

Oh man!! That bicycle ride where Cedar and Granite were seated at the back took me back to my childhood days. I use to ride the cycle like that with our family friend's kid when we went to their place at the market. I am 23 now 😊😁
