I was doing so well in my stand and the enemy showed me my husband on a date and I lost it for days. I wish I knew then that it meant I was doing things that scare satan. My husband and mines connection was stronger before that day. I will never let the enemy take my eyes off God again

I woke up feeling very discouraged this morning. today is our wedding anniversary and my husband doesn't want to celebrate he says because the marriage has been miserable. I am still hoping that something will change and that he will come home and want to do something fun. We did spend all day yesterday together and that was nice. I thank God for that. Thank You Father for what You are doing. I can't see but I believe that You are moving!!!!!

Please pray for me. We been apart 11 years. 2 years ago, he called. He asked if we could be friends. I said yes. It was gradual, but it grew. I helped him with the house. We did some walks and activities together. I saw him through deliverance of smoking. He got sober. I helped him through surgery. And then one day we had a strong disagreement, and a couple people began to come between us, and it all came to a stop. It's been over 2 months now. I am praying for us to resume. I need the Lord to move on him to contact me. Please agree with me in prayer. I need someone to stand with me. In Jesus Name, I want our relationship back. I miss him. I want to resume our guitar playing and our scrabble games and our walks and our good times together. I also miss our church attendance and praying together. I miss it all. I miss him so much. I still love him. Someone PLEASE respond to this comment. PLEASE!*

Just another thought too on when they are blessed, is that His kindness leads to repentance. So the more God blesses them, the more likely they are to turn back to His love and ways and thus the marriage covenant.

A Promise of Restoration Amos 9:11-12
11 “In that day I will restore the fallen house* of David.
I will repair its damaged walls.
From the ruins I will rebuild it
    and restore its former glory.
12 And Israel will possess what is left of Edom

And what happens when you stand for your marriage, stand for your miracle, and it never happens? My biggest fear is not moving on, only to see that he finds someone else and the divorce is finalized. Meanwhile, I lost my child bearing years waiting for something that never happened.

@@Peaka01 I am no longer standing. There was too much damage. I know that God did what He did for a reason and that reason was for me to finally get out of an abusive and adulterous marriage. I wasn’t strong enough to do it myself so God made a way out. I pray for my husbands salvation but I no longer want to stand for a marriage like that. I accept Gods will and I know that ultimately whatever happens, is in His control.

Isn't there already an appointed time for our resortation, bc if we hinder it, then doesnt that say that God "didn't see that coming" (whatever we are/are not doing) isn't that saying that our restoration is based on works or performance and not His Grace? I absolutely love all your teachings and they help me and so many others, so please don't take my questions/ comments as arguing or anything close to that, but I am just thinking that sounded like law based and not grace, and I could be completely misunderstanding too, wouldn't be the first time 🙂

No worries about asking the question. God has clearly set up this world for us to partner with Him. Our actions absolutely play a role in all things. Of course, it is God who brings the breakthrough through his grace but we play a part, He has chosen to use us to bring about His will. Proverbs 21:31 says "A horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory is from the Lord." Psalm 115:16 tells us "
The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to man." God has called us to prepare the horse and Jesus said we now have authority to bring His plan to earth. God has not made us wandering robots but Ambassadors of Heaven tearing down the strongholds of the evil one here on earth. There is much scripture on God telling us to partner with Him and showing us the divine powers he gave US to use.
If this was not the case and everything, including restoration, is at an appointed time with no input or effort from us then why even pray? Why love your spouse? Why ask for forgiveness? Why go on mission trips? Why share the gospel? We do not know the appointed time for Gods perfect plan we but we have clearly been called to partner with Him to make disciples. The devil would love for Christians to sit back, ignore the authority God gave them and just "wait" for breakthrough.
I encourage you to watch the 3 part sermon series I did a while ago titled. "3 Ways We Advance as Standers" This will help you see all the ways God brings breakthrough. You can watch them in the free Netflix style Standing Supernaturally Training HUB that has all our teaching videos for free. training.standingsupernaturally.com
Bless you and Keep Standing Supernaturally!

@@standingsupernaturally Yes we need and should desire to partner with God, if we are seeking His word we get to know Him better and better and our hearts are turned towards His loving presence wanting to please Him, but we fail at times, all of us, and God knew this or that would take place, I believe He allowed for that to happen, He is an all knowing God but thankfully full of mercy. So appointed time....yes, do we know the time...no, otherwise standing or any waiting would be much easier for sure, but God knew the appointed time before He ever created us, He knew we would fail Him in our daily walk, our marriages etc, and He allowed for that. Does that give us a "free pass" I dont believe so and again, if we are seeking Him, we wouldn't want that free pass anyway. So what I am trying to say is I believe we should strive to live for, serve and love God with all we have, BUT not live under condemnation in that, if we do mess up, which we will, we don't have to worry about God changing His mind in restoring. Fine line I think, but I hope I explained what I feel living under grace is for me. Your turn Ha

Please give me advice on what to do if I prayed very hard for God to change my exhusband's mind to come back, because he left and divorced me even after I prayed as hard as I could with putting the blood of Jesus on the marriage for him to stay and work on the marriage, but instead I'm very sad that my prayers weren't affective enough for God to change his mind. And now I've lost my marriage and left with nothing but selfish noncommittal guys that only wants sex from me.
