So nice to listen to common sense
Is difficult to understand how Australians just accept whatever is thrown at them.
No it's not. Remember Covid and how Australians just meekly and unquestioningly surrendered to bureaucrats and dictators ?
Have you seen our schools and the TV player to our parents to program then
Drugs, television, internet, geography and trying to be world players with so few people are some reasons
@zoehosie-dz9pc Bigotry, intolerance, economic disparity, greed, environment destroyed by entitled Baby Boomers, a million dead fish floating in the Murry River, homelessness, domestic violence, homophobia, the intersection of church and state, child abuse, cognitive dissonance, corrupt politicians who couldn't care less about killing koalas, but let Brumbies run wild, ridiculously overpriced education system,"The 1%" that have all the wealth but pay the least tax...
There's a couple possibilities to consider.
They've come here, with a chip on their shoulder, which will never go away.If they won't accept our way of life, they should leave and return to the life they've supposedly run away from.
Absolutely. They are free to come and equally free to leave
Go for it, explain what “our way of life is”. My way of life includes complete opposition to anything the right wing parties stand for.
Why
They hate our democracy, religious (and non religious) perspectives. They hate us because we're white and multicultural. I'm not saying every immigrant has that perspective, but from the protests, that's the perspective I get.
Yep, they h8 our freedoms, our democracy and the fact that we're white. Of course, this only applies to the minority (because that's what we are becoming)
This inane presupposition that Israel is this wonderful state we should all bow down for and never whisper a single criticism of is sounding more ridiculous each day.
No one is saying that… they are are democratically elected govt in a sea of Islamic propaganda… we are about 1000 times bigger than Israel with about double the population… we have no one constantly shooting at our borders .. wanting us dead because we believe in a different God… easy to sit back from this distance…
Well well , another Rabid Hamas supporter are we ?
You either support a liberal Democracy or a Terrorist State. Appears you support the latter. Moronic.
Albo has just come straight from BS’ing the budget to secretly rush through another new vehicle tax that will add a minimum extra $25,000 onto a new Landcruiser without acknowledging any debates to the contrary or due diligence on how these new rushed taxes will effect the average family, so much for trying to help battling Aussies, all they can do is spend and tax.
In the last 2 years everything is higher, taxes, inflation, rent, property, cost of living, immigration, fuel & energy, while the roads, hospital & services have declined.
The climate change narrative is convoluted without any real data to give it credence to keeping everyone poor and struggling forever while the billionaires get more billions for a net zero target that is not achievable without at least considering nuclear energy in the mix.
Some climate data & reports show that the planet is actually getting colder in the last hundred years, so which is wrong?
CO2 doesn’t hurt life it increases it, so all the taxpayer money being spent on expensive, green, unreliable, unsustainable energy & grid systems is just wasted money when we could & should be getting hooked into clean, cheap, reliable, energy dense nuclear power that can power big industry’s for a hundred years with minimal fuel and maintenance requirements once installed & using existing grid structure.
The EV utopia is just another pipe dream we can not visualise because we dont have the necessary energy or infrastructure to support it in Australia among its many other problems, it will fail if implemented and also keep us very broke.
Hydrogen is another ideological technology that needs proper intellectual assessment before going forward as it has a relatively low density power by unit & is extremely explosive, hydrogen certainly should never be considered for any road transport use.
Wasting more billions keeping his woke, racist, voice agenda’s alive & more land giveaways regardless of a resounding NO vote by referendum.
Why are we giving so much aid to overseas when we are struggling ourselves. Albo gave PNG $60 million for a new sports stadium, but we cant even afford to build one for when the games come to Brisbane. I get sick of hearing how much our govt wastes taxpayer money, every day there is a new multimillion or multibillion dollar splurge or handout or give away, I think could be put to much better use while average Aussie are in a struggling or homeless situation created by useless woke Albo & our Labor govt.
A $9.3 billion budget surplus counts for under 1% of the national debt currently north of $1.3 trillion dollars.
His newly selected Woke mate for a Governor General refers to Australia Day as Invasion Day, the last person who should ever be given such a position.
Albo and his pathetic team of Labor are on track to wreck everything good about Australia if we don’t boot them out soon.
Farther of small family 100%
Wow.
Water enhances life, but too much and you drown.
Idiot comment about CO2 ,that shows you failed science.
There must be an inquiry, to shine a light on, who/what entities is funding/coordinating these Muslim promoting extremist rally’s/protest/encampment sewing division ???
Soros?
I agree
@@MS-ll9qbSchwab?
@@MS-ll9qb also china/iran or Russia just for sewing division sake? Or is that reserved for rainbow/green worrier activism?
As an Immigrant, i feel that we are invited to this country as a workforce rather than integrating us to mainstream club of power and money who set the rule for the country .
The Voice referendum delivered for Government politics and the nation in general a resounding message that the voters donot want apartheid in Australia. I find it amazing Peter Dutton in the budget reply started by criticising the referendum which tells me politicians in general while indulging in the result of the Voice referendum forget the significance of the democratic mechanism that delivered that result. The fact is citizen referendums can be the saviour for Australia if used responsibly. The Tyranny of the minorities with their disproportionate influence with policy would be laid to rest by way of ultimate accountability to the voters 24/7. It works you just need to ask the Swiss.
Yes but none of our PM's have ever suggested a referendum on having a Bill of Rights or similar. The Australian people can be subject to any treatment, including loss of expression, and there is nothing to protect us. Even our better PM's failed.
Good to hear Tony Abbott-
Daniel Wild characterising the university protests as “pro-Hamas”… what an absolute tool.
If Dutton can get in the lodge at the next election, he needs to get Tony straight into his cabinet. F@#k what the chattering elites and rabid media says about him!!
Good idea but he needs to get him into Parliament first. He needs a safe seat. Not easy given the selfishness and egos in the parliamentary party.
@steelcrown7130 He can do more good as a political commentator.
@@AquaMarine1000 Possibly so - and he is indeed a good commentator - but tonychristian was talking about having Abbott in Dutton's Cabinet. I was just responding to the practicalities of achieving that.
STOP CALLING THEM ELITES.
Not Elite 💩
They are Psychopaths - we must stand up to them. Did you hear Klaus (WEF) say Senior people should have the VOTE taken off them - Kraus also said- We need the young people - laughing - they are easily- mar
Well spoken Tony Abbott thank you 👍
DRIVEL !
Is protesting the deaths of 35,500 Palestinians (mostly civilians, 14,000 dead children) pro-Hamas and anti-Semitic?!?
I despise Hamas as much as anyone but I am also shocked by Israel’s willingness to kill 1.7% of Gaza’s entire population and their apartheid-like treatment of Palestinians living in the West Bank.
Tony talks about Australian Muslims supporting Gaza and, apparently by extension, Hamas. There are also members of the Australian Jewish community who are not Israeli yet strongly support Israel and their actions because they are Jewish.
Israel has the right to exist but what kind of democracy forcibly evicts people from their homes (Jerusalem) and also settles illegally in their territories (West Bank)?
With these political leaders it will become the great Australia slum
To what extent is Australia learning anything from Audrey Tang and Taiwan to "Reboot Democracy"?
good on ya tony. Truth and commonsense.
Coming from the ex- Prime Minister whose first budget beared no resemblance at all to his election promises.
Yes but…. Would it not be more productive to comment on the contrnt of his words in this interview?
@shangyien Spot on👍
Ok...he's full of it. How's that for a comment?
@@garethdavies6094 Well, I could, but that would detract attention from the very brief point I am making.
The lead sentence, "Australia, the greatest nation on earth..."
Not anymore.
Love you Tony, but shite mate, you blew it.
I’m 76 and working as a casual caregiver.I have reached an income level which reduced my aged pension by $295 !! No wonder retired people don’t get back into the workforce !
I find it hypocritical that Tony Abbot should believe that he has the credibility to criticise the current Government’s budget when the budget of his own failure of a government had every element ridiculed and dismissed at the time. Joe Hockey’s budget was a disaster of the first order, with barely any element remaining in place to be of any economic benefit. What a joke! 🤪
People who support the employment of only 75% of the workforce by the private sector, should be happy to payer high taxes. We have a plethora of ever increasing indirect taxes, which is highly inflationary.
Bring back Tony Abbott as Pm we definitely need you now more than ever 🙏🇦🇺
Fellow of the Institute of Public Affairs - does he sweep the floors and clean the dunnies where 'shit happens' ?
Australia needs a car industry to build EVs. WHO STUFFED IT ?
With immigration, 2% ‘growth’ is a per capita recession.
Yeah, but we're investing in a lot more investments, Chalmers said so about 6 times 😂
Kicked the can of blood and tears for 76 years. Only now it's hit the wall. It will not disappear no matter what you try. Ask your self
At 22:00 - Australia is a WESTERN Country. Australia Foundation is JudaoChristian. SAY it CLEARLY.
How do I block this nonsense.
The $300 power bill subsidy and rental subsidy for low income earners is simply a rebranding and therefor an extension of job seeker.
Austerity measures and Robodebt would be better, as long as we have tax advice from PwC.
So true!😊 Abbott is a joke.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 ONya tony can you come back
Please no!
God, No!!!😳
What is $35 billion a year? Sure ain’t what $35 billion was in 2015.
Tony Abbott the Prime Minister this country should still have...God help us with the rubbish we have now.😢
Australia needs a Milei to make up for 10 lost years without proper prime minister
Tony was the great wrecker of Australian politics. I can't recall anything he built while in office, but i do recall what he tore down.
Destroyed the NBN, fibre to copper really?. Bet him and Rupert were pissing themselves at that one.
Totally agree with you guys 👍
The government should respect the people’s choices, And stop giving embassy jobs to incompetent idiots…..
paying back Labors debt for the next twenty years both federal and Daniel Andrews..
Just imagine a man like this being deposed by a "man" like Turnbull !!!
Bring in more Third World people, give Aboriginals more power to define policy. Western civilization in Australia - What could go wrong?
Yes the labor party is spending money in the wrong places that could've helped us out instead of helping rich people 🙄 so much for Labor caring for low income people who do it tough yet twiggy forest gets billions just to develop renewables when hes rich already he could have spend his own money im all for renewables but the times are not right when power bills are up and up i like the idea about nuclear power it will reduce emissions but provide power i know renewables are not really reliable as now i found out we had a bloody blackout the other day and most businesses had suffered i went to my local iga and they suffered too they had to throw away there stock as there was no refrigeration i did ask the iga manager if they ever looked into batteries for backup but she told me a very interesting thing that batteries are not really viable for the iga yes they got solar power on roofs but having a battery is not a option as the batteries cant run everything yes it can provide the basics like lights but it cannot run the refrigerators in a blackout
Or simpleton
Caliphate
Tony Abbott looks back at his glory days when he used to be a has-been
Haahha! Classic😅
They all come wanting their worship places mosques, temples etc. Why even allow that? You go to their third world countries and see what religions have done there.
Yaaaawn.
Tony do you condemn what Israel is doing in Gaza. And do you agree the Palestinians should have its own State and be a UN member. All those things immediately?
If Abbott had something constructive to say, it would be delivered in a well-thought-out continuous stream of words. 'AH' would not be his every second word. He obviously running on supposition and talking partisan bullshit.
Great video thank you for sharing it with us
Everyone who chooses to live in Australia must be required to respect the laws, culture, and rights of Australians and the rest of the community who are abiding by them. Anyone who comes to Australia refuse to learn to speak the language, abide by Australian norms and consequently expect Australia to change for them should really just go somewhere else.
Do you speak ANY aboriginal dialect? No? OK then...Start learning, mate.
"We face a more perilous world", according to Mr.Abbott. That's OK. When we're under threat, we can just send Tony out to shirtfront our enemies, just like he did to Mr.Putin. The Abbott/Hockey Budget. What a joke ! Both of them were out office within 18 months of that, They went from being "lifters" to "leaners". What a sad joke that was.
What a sad joke the Liberals are and continue to be 😢
Right on,mate! ❤
Not a fan of Tony Abbot but he has more scores on the board re what the Australian Public wanted. I was hoping Turnbull would be a bit of fresh air in the liberal national party but they like the current labour crop of Lefties will implode on a power struggle.
Time for a new conservative group that is cohesive with its power base.
To many chances
To many times.
We are needing a statesman like attitude to lead us forward as a nation.
Aussie Jeff Moore
He was a gamble for PM and one I approved of. But proved another useless fool who let his Opus Dei love of religion cloud his judgment and was in the end a failure. Maybe happened 10y too early for him as he comes over better now
Nope...he still sux, a decade later!😅
Zzzzzzzzzzz............
Tony , I have always held you in high esteem BUT ………. !! Australia has been reliant on America and Britain for too long and we need to seriously consider were we stand , given the Western Countries ( including ourselves) lies , propaganda and donating of taxpayer’s money to Ukraine , in what is a war started by America and NATO with no thoughts for the people of Ukraine , merely world domination. In relation to Israel’s behaviour towards the innocent people of Gaza ( even if you only count children ) are you honestly saying that Israel has acted any better than Hamas ? If you do condone Israel’s murder of thousands of innocent people then you aren’t the bloke I thought you were . If you don’t condone their behaviour ,then what a shame you didn’t say so publicly .
Here here!
@@JohnSmith-cu8yc Thanks John , always reassuring when someone stands with you , isn’t it .
$450 million for two new planes for the prime minister & his ministers is NOT essential spending of tax payer's money !!
We need more tradies, those that contribute to our economy.
Build more Catholic churches ?

Sycophantic reporter, softball questions.
You are really scraping the bottom of the barrel here but then you are a conservative think tank.
Tony don't you know what Islam is? or what the Quran commands? I was so sure you would being a scholar.. they aren't here for any reason other than Jihad
I have absolutely no interest in what toxic simpleton Abbot has to say.
Spot on!
We don’t need Abbott in Australia

Tony ... Please come back 😎
I love the irony of this. Discussing Australia’s future with one of the most conservative, anti development, anti progress PMs in post war history.
Maybe you need to take the red pill.
I'd love to hear your definition of 'progress'.
@@LucienCanon The goal is simple: to progress towards a more equal and egalitarian society where fairness and equity are prioritized. This involves using public education as a leveling tool, dismantling generational wealth to make homeownership accessible for the average Australian, viewing housing as a necessity rather than an investment opportunity, ensuring a well-funded Medicare system, investing in infrastructure and services that boost productivity, and committing to long-term government investment in technologies, energy, mining, and agriculture that secure the future. Essentially, it encompasses all the aspects that Abbott and the conservative faction of the Liberal party oppose.
@@baronvonaux8294And yet we had affordable housing a few decades ago. And our birthrate has not increased since then. We would have plenty of affordable housing without building many homes except for mass immigration.
@@grannyannie2948 The most significant factor historically driving up housing prices has been the capital gains tax discount introduced by JW Howard, the idol and mentor of Abbott. The Coalition has consistently engaged in policies that inflate and sustain property prices.
Came here for racist right wing outrage.... Wasn't disappointed.
100%
Am I the only one here who is concerned about spending whatever time I have left in an evil socialist Australia?.
I wasn't really expecting much else from this budget with Albo at the wheel. May as well just call it, Albo's fudgit.
