Anyone else having a hard time finding a good church? Most Bible-preaching churches are also pre-trib and OSAS, and it feels too far into the end times where (I believe) the pastor is deceived and deceiving on this point… want to find a church where the pastor is preparing us to go through the tribulation, or at least realizes we are in the end times!
Yes. Finding a church that doesn’t teach at least one of those it’s very difficult. The western church, particularly in America is incredibly deceived. I can have a discussion and disagree with pre trib but I refuse to sit under a pastor who teaches OSAS

Find a church that teaches Jesus and what He taught and don’t worry about if they believe in the rapture! That is going to soon change when they see that they were wrong! Hebrews 10:26 says that we are not to forsake the assembly with other believers, you are a part the body that is needed!

I think what's more important is that we are truely born again...and are ready to meet the Lord when He arrives ...believing in pre trib or post trib...doesn't disqualify you from the Kingdom of God.....keep your eyes on the King of Kings and Lord of Lords...His coming soon ...keep telling others about salvation...and keep praying.... I’m sorry but it’s a great deception to others and oneself to believe in post trib. I feel like right now it’s so important to understand that there will be no secret rapture. Not being ready or willing to recognize that there is a definite future for the church is going to be the fall of many.

These scriptures are the very ones that began me on the journey of walking away from the pre-trib deception. My fear now though, is basically most of my brethren I know in person take the pre-trib notion seriously (and some of my family take the preterist notion). I keep praying that they wake up soon, because I don't want to see anybody fall away.
I'm in the same boat. My husband didn't even wanna hear it unless it was "pro pre trib". Little by little I started seeing and sharing with him that pre-trib might be made up. He finally saw it, but the rest of my family, no way. I believe they will believe when they see. I don't know anything who thinks Jesus already came back tho. That idea makes no sense at all. Everyone will know when they see.

So the early church..and early church fathers were deceived by Jesus who told them about “the rescue?”..”the blessed hope!!”..those claim that the pre~trib rapture came margaret macdonald or john darby are dishonest people..that is where the deception is coming from!! Let them know if it doesn't happen in the time frame they have been told by their ministers, they need to be strong and wait longer, it will happen, after the tribulation. Unfortunately some will not listen, their ears are closed their eyes are blinded by false teachings. The gift of everlasting life in pure joy and happiness with the Messiah is worth whatever we will endure for such a short time in comparison 🙏

I became Born Again back in 1979 and by 1989/2000 Fell away or walked away from Christ into Wicca. In Wicca, I experienced all sorts of Evil activities even Jail. Now, I was on this path until Jan 2016 when Jesus Christ called me back to the Father. I Repented and Christ delivered me from much Evil. Today I walk in the Love of Christ and every day to my best to not be deceived or take my salvation for granted. I do believe you can choose to walk away from God and you can choose to resist evil and walk with Jesus Christ. I pray daily to be able to give my crown to my King when I depart from this life. Those who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture also claim that the restrainer who will be out of the way, is the Holy Spirit. They also talk about "tribulation saints" who would be new believers born again during the tribulation years. How can this be if the Holy Spirit is not present? Something does not add up.
That's correct. The Holy Spirit doesn't leave anywhere, otherwise he would not be omnipresent and therefore not God. That is why those pre-tribbers need to keep studying. It's not even the church that is the restrainer. Many believe that once the church is taken out of the way, then the lawless one comes out. And actually technically it's Jesus Christ who is the restrainer. The Anti-Christ comes out when he is ordered to by Jesus Christ when he breaks the first seal on the scroll. And yes the Holy Spirit has to be here during the 7 year Tribulation because he woos a ton of people to Christ just like he did the first round. Exept this time he only has 144,000 preaching the gospel instead of 800 million.
In regards to the Holy Spirit being the restrainer, I found the in the original kjv the "he who now restrains" the h in he is lowercase. It wasn't until after the idea of a pre tribulation rapture they started capitalizing it in newer translations. When the kjv was translated I guess they didn't think the restrainer was the Holy Spirit bc they would have capitalized the h is my point.
There are many in this present time that are publicly announcing that they have walked away from their faith in Jesus and now claiming to be an atheist. This is heart breaking! Let us keep our eyes on Jesus and ask God daily to renew our faith until the end!!!!

Thank you for pointing out what Pastor MacArthur says about the Mark of the Beast. This is one of the most mind-blowing things I've ever heard a prominent teacher say. His ministry has never disavowed this despite being called upon to do so.
Pastor John McArthur also mistakenly refers to separate groups of saints for the church and the Tribulation. The term tribulation saint is found nowhere in scripture. The term saint is the same throughout all of the Bible.
I would just caution to seek out that quote for yourself. It may be true, it matters not to me but it's a good habit to form to verify what people say other people have said.
Pastor McArthur also said that if you take "The of the Beast" you can still be saved, so be careful there 😕. The Bible clearly says differently. He's also a "cessationist". He got called out on it by a visitor to his church. Man is man.

This is spot on, I had a four hour disagreement with the pastor on this topic and he kept twisting words when I pressed him on the great tribulation and the rapture. He didn’t want to believe it, he didn’t give me evidence to support his belief and would only try to dismiss mine.
I had a similar thing happen. I went to a prophecy conference, and they were all pre tribulation. I had a discussion with one of the teachers afterwards, showing him fro the Bible, and all he could say was “ I don’t see it that way” …nothing else! 😵💫

You and Dalton where the first ones to get me to see pre trib was not biblical. I was so shocked bc I was brought up like pre trib was so clear as day in the Bible, I didn't even know people believed anything else. I'm grateful for you guys bc it felt like going through the 5 stages of grief but at the end I realized I wasn't afraid to have to go through the tribulation anymore. If it comes in my lifetime that will be an amazing time to get the gospel out like never before and warn people. People who are martyred get to be with Christ and don't have to endure the rest of literally hell on earth. This broken world will need us when the time comes. Matthew 24, 2nd Thessalonians, and Revelation 7 9-14 make it so clear we will be here.

Pretrib rapture is very appealing to soft Westerners who have been living in relative peace for decades. They see the pretrib rapture in every scripture even though its never stated explicitly.
That's correct. And God rewards people based on what they do. So if you volunteer to put yourself in harm's way, you will receive a greater reward. Way too many post-tribbers sitting on their comfy couches in the USA. What they really should do is lead by example and immediately move to Russia and start a church. Heck they are not even attending church in this country. So that means that people are really not on fire for Christ. Which confirms that we are in the church of Laodicea, the great apostacy. The next event is Revelation 4:1 since no one wants to deny the soft western comforts and follow Christ.

So many so called faithful pretribbers will fall away when they realize they are in the great tribulation and will follow Anti-Christ plans to be "saved" from harm if they follow his fake comfort plan by taking his MoB...so many American Christians don't want any kind of discomfort and will not believe they actually are to endure the worldwide great tribulation that many in other countries already face so much n heavy persecution. So many cotton candy Christians...that may fall away so they don't gave to endure hardship.
The Lord had showed us these things in the scriptures. It is SO clear. My husband preached a clear sermon about it, but the people prefer to cling to their mindset. @@alanabakke4310 . In 2.Thes 2:1-4 Paul is saying that such teaching will make people who believe it, that it will make them disturbed and that their mind will be agitated. Greek words σαλευθηναι and θροεισθαι mean; to be agitated and to be disturbed. And that is the phsychological state of those who blindly believe in pri-trib rapture. Sadly here in Croatia and on territory of all former Yugoslavia it is teaching in all churches , which are small in numbers, and that kind of teaching is catastrofic for unity and cooperation . For that reason they are all ignoring me , and I am mostly alone without fellowship.And that kind of teaching caries with it other deviations of life and belief.
Thank you. When I first studied the passages about the Second Coming and he Rapture, I came to the same conclusion as you. But recently being exposed to many pre-Tribulation rapture teachers, including those teaching that apostosia means departure and those teaching once saved always saved (OSAS), I had some doubts. Your words give me more strength to continue as I believe.
One difference that I see all of the time is how combative and insulting some pre-trib believers have been to me when all I've ever done is ask questions in an effort to see where their beliefs come from and what backs their claims up because that's not what I get when I read the Bible and I know I could easily be missing something or just plain wrong. But, the major difference is that many of them resort to insulting my ability to read and my intelligence at that point, but it's because they can not answer my questions and they get all confused and flustered when I bring up scripture that contradicts their beliefs. Every single one that I have tried to have a discussion with can quote a handful of lines from the scriptures that they believe back their claims, but if you want to know more they refer you to the pastor who they learned it from because "they can explain dispensationalism better". I find that a little ironic because one of their stock lines to me is always "God is not the author of confusion" which actually is another insult in my opinion. I have to admit, I would be okay with missing out on the tribulation if that was the plan, but I have never gotten that from my reading the Bible thus far. Oh and to cover the "Once saved Always saved" they tell me that the Holy Spirit will guide you down the right path and if a person can walk away from their faith it is because they were never saved in the first place. "Some people think they're saved, but they just had a God experience and weren't actually saved." Thankfully, Joel has answered my questions on where and how they came to this conclusion because I haven't came across anyone who is a pre-trib believer that could explain it to me.
@@MeTuLHeD the problem with that is they have not been offered the blood of Jesus. They knew God and rejected Him. If we reject Him we cant go to Heaven. The demons have already been judged.
@@joannmutschler9112 The "problem" with what? The problem with Scripture??? You are COMPLETELY ignoring the context and intent of James 2:19 to make some irrelevant point about demons. The point of that passage (and many others in The New Testament) is that faith cannot be divorced from works. If faith is divorced from works, then it is not true faith and therefore cannot save. "Faith without works is dead, being alone." And therein lies the problem with much of what passes for faith in evangelical Christianity today. It is faith without works. Therefore it is dead.

John 6:28-29 Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?" Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." Also Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness. Note not his work of faith but his faith. Open the Bible.

I was born Catholic but was never Catholic. I've basically been Christian my whole life, though. But to me, it seemed so obvious that the "rapture" would happen AFTER the tribulation. I had no idea that there were whole sects of Protestantism/Christianity that didn't believe this. In fact...some of them were friends I hung out with. And it shocked me that anyone could read the Bible and come to the conclusion that God would take us away and we wouldn't be tested. I felt the ONLY way you could conclude that was if you followed some sort of extra biblical source. Still believe in a post trip rapture. From Catholicism to Protestantism to the religion of the first church in Jerusalem...this idea of a rapture after the tribulation is one that I have always stuck with. I think the reason people want to believe this is because they do not want to be around to witness the horrors of what is about to happen in the tribulation. Because it's scary...and there is potential for them to die..or even fall away. who would want to go through that? Much better to read the Bible and get an idea that something else will happen rather than that.

Is there a method that speaks to them? I ask them how they explain AFTER in Matthew 24 and not until the man is revealed in 2nd Thessalonians and the show me articles like 250 reasons it's pretrib and tell me the Convo is over.

I have found some good teaching/fellowship online - Last Trumpet Teaching Ministry; Watchers of Truth, BlessedHope with Joe Schimmel; just wish I could find it in person! I know many Christians but have not physically met anyone else that is pre-trib and less than a handful that realize we are in the end times. Very spiritually lonely, thankful for online fellowship while we have it still!

Maybe. Just not the reserved wrath of God for those who hate His light. I.e. we are to get ready to depart as the 7th seal opening (which begins the 7 bowl judgements), last earthly judgement 6th seal event, is not meant for the church. My pastor is a pretribber. I've let him know my view in brief and offered to have the talk about why I believe what I believe. He said no because he has the truth from the Bible. Made my heart sink.

Every man (woman) that was every created starts out with their name in the book of life. It gets blotted out when you die in your sins (without Christ) because at that point your fate has been sealed.

Great series Joel! Could you address Paul's intent in Eph 1:13-14 where he says we are sealed with the Spirit as an earnest of the inheritance? I have walked away from dispensationalism in the last year and working through verses that held me in this deception.
We are grafted into God's family. The seal of the spirit identifies us as legitimate children. The holy spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are sons of God. It is that bit of us that is the new creation in Messiah. We are like a seed that is buried when we die but there is that little kernel inside that will resurrect.

Amen on the comments about John MacArthur! So refreshing! I am not a charismatic, but I'm not a cessationist either. We go to a Calvinist leaning church because it's the most biblical church we have found so far, but man they put that man on such a pedestal it's crazy. Joel, I doubt you will see this, but it is a burning question for me; If we can "fall away", where is the line of no return where we are "cut off"? How do we balance salvation through grace alone, with endurance? Is having doubt not enduring... how much doubt?
Daniel you cannot " fall away " in the sense of losing your salvation. You did not " endure " to get your salvation you do not need to " endure " to keep your salvation. Your question to Joel is unanswerable from the Bible because there is no line where you are cut off. [Tit 3:5 NASB95] 5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, [Eph 1:13-14 NASB95] 13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of [God's own] possession, to the praise of His glory.
You are saved by faith but rewarded by works. Maybe that will help you out. If you want to live a nice comfy life and get raptured you are free to do that. Just don't expect a big crown or jewels, or even a large territorial assignment in the Millennial Kingdom. Your works will be few and it will be seen for all eternity. However, if you really want to be recognized in the Kingdom, then get started now. The more persecution you give yourself in this life, the greater your reward will be at the Bema Seat of Christ. Don't falsely co-mingle your salvation with your rewards, as they do on this channel.

Anyone else having a hard time finding a good church? Most Bible-preaching churches are also pre-trib and OSAS, and it feels too far into the end times where (I believe) the pastor is deceived and deceiving on this point… want to find a church where the pastor is preparing us to go through the tribulation, or at least realizes we are in the end times!

My fear now though, is basically most of my brethren I know in person take the pre-trib notion seriously (and some of my family take the preterist notion). I keep praying that they wake up soon, because I don't want to see anybody fall away.
I'm in the same boat. My husband didn't even wanna hear it unless it was "pro pre trib". Little by little I started seeing and sharing with him that pre-trib might be made up. He finally saw it, but the rest of my family, no way. I believe they will believe when they see. I don't know anything who thinks Jesus already came back tho. That idea makes no sense at all. Those who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture also claim that the restrainer who will be out of the way, is the Holy Spirit. They also talk about "tribulation saints" who would be new believers born again during the tribulation years. How can this be if the Holy Spirit is not present?

No Holy Spirit No Believer's in Jesus Christ and the Word of God
That's correct. The Holy Spirit doesn't leave anywhere, otherwise he would not be omnipresent and therefore not God. That is why those pre-tribbers need to keep studying. It's not even the church that is the restrainer. Many believe that once the church is taken out of the way, then the lawless one comes out. And actually technically it's Jesus Christ who is the restrainer. The Anti-Christ comes out when he is ordered to by Jesus Christ when he breaks the first seal on the scroll.
And yes the Holy Spirit has to be here during the 7 year Tribulation because he woos a ton of people to Christ just like he did the first round. Exept this time he only has 144,000 preaching the gospel instead of 800 million.
The restrainer is one of the angels
In regards to the Holy Spirit being the restrainer, I found the in the original kjv the "he who now restrains" the h in he is lowercase. It wasn't until after the idea of a pre tribulation rapture they started capitalizing it in newer translations. When the kjv was translated I guess they didn't think the restrainer was the Holy Spirit bc they would have capitalized the h is my point.
There are many in this present time that are publicly announcing that they have walked away from their faith in Jesus and now claiming to be an atheist. This is heart breaking! Let us keep our eyes on Jesus and ask God daily to renew our faith until the end!!!!

Thank you for pointing out what Pastor MacArthur says about the Mark of the Beast. This is one of the most mind-blowing things I've ever heard a prominent teacher say. His ministry has never disavowed this despite being called upon to do so.
Pastor John McArthur also mistakenly refers to separate groups of saints for the church and the Tribulation. The term tribulation saint is found nowhere in scripture. The term saint is the same throughout all of the Bible.
I would just caution to seek out that quote for yourself. It may be true, it matters not to me but it's a good habit to form to verify what people say other people have said.

This is spot on, I had a four hour disagreement with the pastor on this topic and he kept twisting words when I pressed him on the great tribulation and the rapture. He didn’t want to believe it, he didn’t give me evidence to support his belief and would only try to dismiss mine.
You might want to consider coming out of that church.
I had a similar thing happen. I went to a prophecy conference, and they were all pre tribulation. I had a discussion with one of the teachers afterwards, showing him fro the Bible, and all he could say was “ I don’t see it that way” …nothing else! 😵💫

I was so shocked bc I was brought up like pre trib was so clear as day in the Bible, I didn't even know people believed anything else. I'm grateful for you guys bc it felt like going through the 5 stages of grief but at the end I realized I wasn't afraid to have to go through the tribulation anymore. If it comes in my lifetime that will be an amazing time to get the gospel out like never before and warn people. People who are martyred get to be with Christ and don't have to endure the rest of literally hell on earth. This broken world will need us when the time comes. Matthew 24, 2nd Thessalonians, and Revelation 7 9-14 make it so clear we will be here.

Pretrib rapture is very appealing to soft Westerners who have been living in relative peace for decades. They see the pretrib rapture in every scripture even though its never stated explicitly.
That's correct. And God rewards people based on what they do. So if you volunteer to put yourself in harm's way, you will receive a greater reward. Way too many post-tribbers sitting on their comfy couches in the USA. What they really should do is lead by example and immediately move to Russia and start a church. Heck they are not even attending church in this country. So that means that people are really not on fire for Christ. Which confirms that we are in the church of Laodicea, the great apostacy. @@alanabakke4310 . In 2.Thes 2:1-4 Paul is saying that such teaching will make people who believe it, that it will make them disturbed and that their mind will be agitated. Greek words σαλευθηναι and θροεισθαι mean; to be agitated and to be disturbed. And that is the phsychological state of those who blindly believe in pri-trib rapture. Sadly here in Croatia and on territory of all former Yugoslavia it is teaching in all churches , which are small in numbers, and that kind of teaching is catastrofic for unity and cooperation . For that reason they are all ignoring me , and I am mostly alone without fellowship.And that kind of teaching caries with it other deviations of life and belief.

Thank you. When I first studied the passages about the Second Coming and he Rapture, I came to the same conclusion as you. But recently being exposed to many pre-Tribulation rapture teachers, including those teaching that apostosia means departure and those teaching once saved always saved (OSAS), I had some doubts. Your words give me more strength to continue as I believe.
One difference that I see all of the time is how combative and insulting some pre-trib believers have been to me when all I've ever done is ask questions in an effort to see where their beliefs come from and what backs their claims up because that's not what I get when I read the Bible and I know I could easily be missing something or just plain wrong. But, the major difference is that many of them resort to insulting my ability to read and my intelligence at that point, but it's because they can not answer my questions and they get all confused and flustered when I bring up scripture that contradicts their beliefs. Every single one that I have tried to have a discussion with can quote a handful of lines from the scriptures that they believe back their claims, but if you want to know more they refer you to the pastor who they learned it from because "they can explain dispensationalism better". I find that a little ironic because one of their stock lines to me is always "God is not the author of confusion" which actually is another insult in my opinion. I have to admit, I would be okay with missing out on the tribulation if that was the plan, but I have never gotten that from my reading the Bible thus far. Oh and to cover the "Once saved Always saved" they tell me that the Holy Spirit will guide you down the right path and if a person can walk away from their faith it is because they were never saved in the first place. "Some people think they're saved, but they just had a God experience and weren't actually saved." Thankfully, Joel has answered my questions on where and how they came to this conclusion because I haven't came across anyone who is a pre-trib believer that could explain it to me.
The secret coming was the resurrection and appearing to many and interacting with them for forty days. Good teaching and understanding apocalypse.

The point of that passage (and many others in The New Testament) is that faith cannot be divorced from works. If faith is divorced from works, then it is not true faith and therefore cannot save. "Faith without works is dead, being alone." And therein lies the problem with much of what passes for faith in evangelical Christianity today. It is faith without works. Therefore it is dead.

I was planning on fighting against the anti Christ system and preaching the gospel and trying to save people
I was born Catholic but was never Catholic. I've basically been Christian my whole life, though. But to me, it seemed so obvious that the "rapture" would happen AFTER the tribulation.
I had no idea that there were whole sects of Protestantism/Christianity that didn't believe this. In fact...some of them were friends I hung out with. And it shocked me that anyone could read the Bible and come to the conclusion that God would take us away and we wouldn't be tested. I felt the ONLY way you could conclude that was if you followed some sort of extra biblical source.
Still believe in a post trip rapture. From Catholicism to Protestantism to the religion of the first church in Jerusalem...this idea of a rapture after the tribulation is one that I have always stuck with.
I think the reason people want to believe this is because they do not want to be around to witness the horrors of what is about to happen in the tribulation. Because it's scary...and there is potential for them to die..or even fall away. who would want to go through that? Much better to read the Bible and get an idea that something else will happen rather than that.
Yes, one pastor didn’t think I was saved because I believe in post tribulation transformation.

I have found some good teaching/fellowship online - Last Trumpet Teaching Ministry; Watchers of Truth, BlessedHope with Joe Schimmel; just wish I could find it in person! I know many Christians but have not physically met anyone else that is pre-trib and less than a handful that realize we are in the end times. Very spiritually lonely, thankful for online fellowship while we have it still!

I.e. we are to get ready to depart as the 7th seal opening (which begins the 7 bowl judgements), last earthly judgement 6th seal event, is not meant for the church. Heaven goes silent before that solemnity before the terrible Day of the Lord's woes.
The Day of the Lord = (1) Christ's 2nd coming + (2) Our being gathered to him (harpazo = rapture). 7th Trumpet.

You are going through a great revival, as being part of the great apostasy for Satan. Satan's numbers are growing, as he takes the Lord's flock captive (Jer 13:17) such that when the Lord returns in a pre-trib rapture He says will there be anyone on the Earth of the faith (Luke 18:8). One merely reads 2 Peter 2:1-22 to see the secret, destructive apostasy such that the Lord call you and those like you vomitous male dogs and filthily-mired female pigs. I did not say that. The Lord Jesus Christ did.
Soon, this year or sometime through the beginning of fall 2027, there will be three days/nights of blackness and darkness as prophesied (Matt 12:39-40) in which the pretrib rapture will occur (Days of Noah; days of Lot; days of Jews' exodus from Egypt, Rev 4:1-2, 12:5). This is the night when no one can work (John 9:4). If you are an apostate believing/espousing lies against Him, you must return to Him by the time of the blackness or darkness or you will be forever separated from Him. I do not judge nor condemn you or anyone else. I merely declare the truth. One's own words will either justify or condemn them on that day (Matt 12:37). For Christ will not come to judge the wicked, as the words He has spoken will judge them (John 12:47-48). I warn out of love.
Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas are full of hypocrisy and are apostates, leading people on the road to hell. They and their followers still have time to repent of their lies (Rev 3:18-21) as the Lord abundantly pardons (Isaiah 55:7).

My pastor is a pretribber. I've let him know my view in brief and offered to have the talk about why I believe what I believe. He said no because he has the truth from the Bible. Made my heart sink.

Blood Covenant: if he’s so confident he should have shared scripture with you to try to show YOU the truth rather than saying he knew the truth. It’s because he has nothing to share with you that biblically supports his opinion. Pastors were indoctrinated before they indoctrinated us. It’s a sort of arrogance or egoism to think that oneself is above deception…….so certain that they wouldn’t even pray and ask God to show them if they have. There is no humbleness for them regarding truth and knowledge into the things of God because in their minds…….they are too holy to be deceived. And they think they already know everything. Every man (woman) that was every created starts out with their name in the book of life. It gets blotted out when you die in your sins (without Christ) because at that point your fate has been sealed.
Give it up. The OSAS cultists are deluded. They read every Scripture through a grid. You will never convince them that the Biblical warnings against apostasy are truly warnings against apostasy.

So reassuring to find that Joel seems to believe what I believe, that we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling, we must pick up our cross and endure to the end, even though sometimes it gets so painful we feel like quitting. Again I happily concur with Joel in obeying the clear teaching of Jesus and not the head in the clouds spouting of the OSAS brigade. Many are called but few are chosen. Great series Joel! Could you address Paul's intent in Eph 1:13-14 where he says we are sealed with the Spirit as an earnest of the inheritance? I have walked away from dispensationalism in the last year and working through verses that held me in this deception.
We are grafted into God's family. The seal of the spirit identifies us as legitimate children. The holy spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are sons of God. It is that bit of us that is the new creation in Messiah. We are like a seed that is buried when we die but there is that little kernel inside that will resurrect.

Amen on the comments about John MacArthur! So refreshing! I am not a charismatic, but I'm not a cessationist either. We go to a Calvinist leaning church because it's the most biblical church we have found so far, but man they put that man on such a pedestal it's crazy. It's also pre-trib AND Dispensational so...yeah.

Joel, I doubt you will see this, but it is a burning question for me; If we can "fall away", where is the line of no return where we are "cut off"? How do we balance salvation through grace alone, with endurance? Is having doubt not enduring... how much doubt?
Daniel you cannot " fall away " in the sense of losing your salvation. You did not " endure " to get your salvation you do not need to " endure " to keep your salvation. Your question to Joel is unanswerable from the Bible because there is no line where you are cut off.
[Tit 3:5 NASB95] 5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
[Eph 1:13-14 NASB95] 13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of [God's own] possession, to the praise of His glory.
You are saved by faith but rewarded by works. Maybe that will help you out. If you want to live a nice comfy life and get raptured you are free to do that. Just don't expect a big crown or jewels, or even a large territorial assignment in the Millennial Kingdom. Your works will be few and it will be seen for all eternity. However, if you really want to be recognized in the Kingdom, then get started now. The more persecution you give yourself in this life, the greater your reward will be at the Bema Seat of Christ.
Don't falsely co-mingle your salvation with your rewards, as they do on this channel.

That's exactly right. There are so many post-tribbers sitting around on their lazy couches in America. They really need to move to Russia right away and demonstrate how Putin brings the tribulation to their doorstep before the actual Tribulation begins. Lead by example. Somehow, sadly, I don't see any volunteers.
