Why does eBay allow for so many people to sell clones? I'm comparing all the cheap ones on eBay and they seem to be all fake.
Is it normal or not that there is a QR code on the Justin 4165 light gray gradient gray polarized original box that when you scan it redirects you to the ray-ban website?
Because everything else in my opinion looks authentic as in your video except for that little thing which I'm not sure!
I been today in one of the nearest Ray-Ban retailer store Vision Express Opticians and they say that this my sunglasses are original
I contact seller on eaby and I told him about that like this:
There is NO QR code on the original Ray Ban box, but on the one I bought from you there is, and when I scan it, it redirects me to the Ray Ban website, which is the case only with fakes!
Could you please explain that?
I was now at one of the Ray-Ban retailer stores Vision Express Opticions and there is no QR Code that can be scanned on their boxes!
I just need to find somewhere to weigh them on a small digital scale, because the originals are around 32-33 grams and the fakes are lighter!
Thank you!
He respond back:
We are dispensing opticians.
We are one of the biggest sellers of Ray-Ban in the UK.
The QR code is 2024 stock applied to us and us alone hence it going direct to Ray-Bans site!!
Your weights are incorrect for a polycarbonate lens.
Your information is for glass lenses on a nylon frame.
33 grams is glass lenses.Don't be a internet slueth with incorrect information.
Ebay uk seller name is omenoptics you can chech if you want and let me know what you think?
How much do the authentic pairs weigh, in comparison to the reproduction?
damn, on such close inspection i actually prefer the texture and sharp edges of the fakes..
Thanks! Saved me some money today. Went and looked at a "Used" pair and they looked the part. But had everything wrong with them that your counterfeit pair did.
That made my video worth it! So glad to hear you didn't get ripped off.
