Don’t worry I’m working on a clothing line for all sizes and learning the lines and patterns that fit well on a plus size, it’s all about the right size and placement of darts and if you want lines for your pattern make sure they are vertical lines!! BTS' stylists always choose the most boring things for any american appearances. Things they wear in Korea, like their album photoshoots, korean magazines. Like their performance fits from last online concert are sooo much more interesting! Playing with lace, layers, masculinity and femininity and then they go to US and put on a suit, probably so people start taking them seriously ;; And also, my gd,they did Lizzo so dirty with that Gucci dress! :O

Right! I remember when they needed to perform in the US back in their Idol era, I was abit like "oh" when they wore suits that were boring. I actually hoped they would wear those colourful and wack suits they wore in the MV. So much character in them just like the song.

I think BTS just wanted something more serious for the Variety cover, because the article is part of their Grammy campaign and is already so difficult for them to be taken seriously, so I don't think they wanted to take a lot of risks. I can see why is a bit boring fashionwise, but I don't think that was really their focus. But during their performances on Fallon in September they had great outifts, IDOL and Black Swan in particular. Also, they tend to take more risks during the Korean Awards shows, so maybe they really are trying to build a more mature image in the USA.
I agree. The have had some amazing fashion moments this month, from their concert to jimmy fallon week. I think the variety cover was just a mature and classic look.

Besides, their outfits from their recent concert were stunning in my opinion. In fact, during their first attendance to the Grammys, I had to hear a lot of comments from people just because of their coloured hair and BTS were just wearing normal suits on that occasion (I really liked that the suits were from a korean brand though). I would love to see Luke talk more about bts and their performance outfits, outfits they wear in Korean and asian magazines instead of what they wear in western countries and magazines because their different styes are really interesting
If you want to see BTS in more fashionable outfits and looks, you should try to see there photo shoots with Korean companies and magazines, such as Allure, Daze, Ella and Vouge Korea, as well as companies like Dispatch. For whatever reason, they always end up much more simple and suited up whenever doing American media, as opposed to South Korean media where they have more androgynous, over the top looks.

I did finish it.. It's.. It's.. Like a very cliché story? Like she's the new girl and everyone wants to f her, and she fs everyone. Like a very basic manga plot, IFYKWIM. You can finish it within the day, while having coffee, doing some work, and you wouldn't miss anydetail. I kinda played some of it in the background lot just to kinda "finish" it.
The Kardashian look reminds me of when I'm trying to get a feel for what fabrics are going to look like next to each other so I've just draped them on top of me and pinned them in a vague shape....not a finished look.

I saw the thumbnail and couldn’t believe I was seeing Marimekko. Awesome. They’ve really stepped up and modernised themselves in the last few years. And they’ve done it using a lot of their classic prints that have been around for a long time and still manage to make it look really fresh! The Kivet-print on the jacket you’re wearing was first made in 1956.

I haven't ever even seen that style of jacket anywhere on the streets of Helsinki (or the stores) even though Marimekko is highly fashionable brand over here. And usually when a foreigner has anything Marimekko, it's usually in in the Unikko print. So I guess this proves you're not a basic even considering smaller brands

I love BTS’s outfits actually, they are more fashionable when performing on stage but I think they still also stick to their country’s idea of fashion because I noticed that they support some local designers in their homeland and you know how South Korea is more attracted to subtle designs. However, I agree with you. They’re now globally known; very popular so I hope their stylists upgrade their looks soon plus they are gorgeous 💜
Hi. I never knew I'd be interested in fashion, being a nerd, but apparently people can be nerds about fashion too. Could you make some comparisons or a map or something explaining different parts of the fashion world? I know you specialize in haute couture but I'd like help understanding the similarities, differences, and connections or lack thereof between different aspects of the fashion world. There exists the fanciest of companies, history bounding, outdoor clothes, and whatever else. Do the different fashion worlds ever talk to each other? Are they held to different design standards? Are there standards? Do people mix pieces from different fashion worlds? Supposedly there are different levels of expense in construction, like moderate, bridge, etc. but few seem to talk about that. Are the fanciest brands necessarily the best looking and most sophisticated, or just the best known and most expensive since they dominate red carpets? It seems like the top brands used to be about making customers look good. To me, it seems like they are now about being over the top. This usually results in outfits which are attention grabbing but either artistic in a way that would draw me to stare in a museum, or gaudy and impractical, with the occasional person looking stunning. Why? It seems like if VIPs were encouraged to look good in a relatively smaller wardrobe of dress clothes for different kinds of events, to be worn over and over, that would set a good example of sustainability and create an image regular people would want to emulate.

I’m not really that into fashion, but I watch a lot of your videos because the fact that you put so much work into knowing all the history and significance into decisions that designers make causes them to be so interesting.
I saw the thumbnail and couldn’t believe I was seeing Marimekko. Awesome. They’ve really stepped up and modernised themselves in the last few years. And they’ve done it using a lot of their classic prints that have been around for a long time and still manage to make it look really fresh! The Kivet-print on the jacket you’re wearing was first made in 1956.

I cliked so fast to this video when I saw you were wearing Marimekko! I'm intrigued how you came upon this brand and that jacket! I haven't ever even seen that style of jacket anywhere on the streets of Helsinki (or the stores) even though Marimekko is highly fashionable brand over here. And usually when a foreigner has anything Marimekko, it's usually in in the Unikko print. So I guess this proves you're not a basic even considering smaller brands

I love BTS’s outfits actually, they are more fashionable when performing on stage but I think they still also stick to their country’s idea of fashion because I noticed that they support some local designers in their homeland and you know how South Korea is more attracted to subtle designs. However, I agree with you. They’re now globally known; very popular so I hope their stylists upgrade their looks soon plus they are gorgeous 💜

Hi. I never knew I'd be interested in fashion, being a nerd, but apparently people can be nerds about fashion too. Could you make some comparisons or a map or something explaining different parts of the fashion world? I know you specialize in haute couture but I'd like help understanding the similarities, differences, and connections or lack thereof between different aspects of the fashion world. There exists the fanciest of companies, history bounding, outdoor clothes, and whatever else. Do the different fashion worlds ever talk to each other? Are they held to different design standards? Are there standards? Do people mix pieces from different fashion worlds? Supposedly there are different levels of expense in construction, like moderate, bridge, etc. but few seem to talk about that. Are the fanciest brands necessarily the best looking and most sophisticated, or just the best known and most expensive since they dominate red carpets? It seems like the top brands used to be about making customers look good. To me, it seems like they are now about being over the top. This usually results in outfits which are attention grabbing but either artistic in a way that would draw me to stare in a museum, or gaudy and impractical, with the occasional person looking stunning. Why? It seems like if VIPs were encouraged to look good in a relatively smaller wardrobe of dress clothes for different kinds of events, to be worn over and over, that would set a good example of sustainability and create an image regular people would want to emulate.
