had some issues with my footage recording this week so a couple bits have some gross screen tearing. think I sorted for the most part but it is still present on some clips - sorry about that. ALSO - I added a few more bits to my workshop, various links in the description :) cheers all!
I actually think the empty slide supports "runoff pool" could work just by themselves as a bit of storytelling. Like there was a/ another slide at this pool but it was demolished and now the remaining slide is on its own or it could have been repurposed into a more relaxed swimming pool for adults or something.
I adore this series, you've really inspired me to create "low-budget" parks. Learning a tonne from the way you use the available building blocks. Thanks!
STUNNING!! The pump houses and the filters??? so cool! I'm so intimidated to even try that lmao idk where to even start! Its looking so good so far! I cant wait to see what else you do with this park! so good!
thanks, mate. i’m still feeling a bit intimidated by it tbh, thought i’d get destroyed by pool nerds but everyone is being nice haha. there is still good in the world!!!
The original run off pool that you moved and positioned in a different area of the park is really cool as it is. Maybe the park originally had a couple of slides that were removed and left behind the run off pool, so the park decided to convert it into a kiddie pool or spa pool. You could leave the slide footers in place to show a history to the park. Really cool!
Another minnie. What a treat! This park is coming along so nicely. The filter house is just wonderful, adds such a realistic touch. I am chuffed. CHUFFED!
Oh dude, the pump house is just class! I’ve been around pumps and it looks really real, the blue and everything. Looks fantastic. BTW - With the slide platform i found out when you first place it, place it on the ground, and then cancel out and use the advanced move to lift it and… no more support. Not sure if that will work 4 anyone else. Anyway loving this series!
Phenomenal stuff as always, the level of detail you get always blows me away. Can’t wait to see you get back into the theme park side, I know you got something awesome planned already
cheers, mate. I'm having to hold myself back from starting a new sandbox file because I will just not want to finish this if I start on the theme park stuff lol. its tough
So glad you didn't get rid of that run-off pool, it's so pretty! You should definitely repurpose it off for something else, or even just leave it as is and have it be a hot tub or something. Also, love the dedication to watching videos about pool filtration to get your pool filtration system as realistic as possible.
thank you! yeah, someone else suggested leaving it as is as a kind of left over from an old-now-defunct slide which is a really fun idea, think i might do something like that.
I too like to know how things work so I appreciate that you included some info from your research in the video. Back stage areas for pools are something I know basically nothing about so that was cool to see. I also like that you are keeping this project so small, let’s you try some stuff out and gives you that boost from finishing a project.
I love following this series! Please keep the same form. I think what keeps me watching you is that I’m tired of timelaps builds. I just want the final result shown in detail like you do. Keep it up 👍
Incredible series so far! I cant believe how much I just learned about building in this game from just watching you for like 30 mins. Can’t wait to see what you pull off for full theme park builds in this game!
Chiming in to say I love your work. Your parks are beautiful. I’m pretty new to the channel, so just curious.. have you ever considered doing speed build type videos? I would like to see more of your process and speed build videos are my favorite format. Just a thought though, of course.
thank you! i have done some speed builds before but i struggle a bit with recording them because i build very slowly and in a fairly scattered way. good to know there’s interest in them, i might try and do some for my next series :)
Hi Mineral, im finally catching up on your series, it’s amazing as I expected!! Love how you’re spotlighting your methods and pieces that you use for various parts of the build. This is extremely helpful, especially for everyone still learning the pieces in the game! The pump house part of the video was quite entertaining for me since I design water parks in my every day job as an engineer :). If you ever want any assistance or education, I can teach you anything you’d like to know, or send you reference pictures of anything pump room related! I think what you’ve done here really sells it. Of course there’s a thousand things that are wrong about it, but Im probably one of the only people in the planet coaster universe that would be able to tell 😂. But that regenerative media filter especially looks fantastic, amazing!
As someone who's local waterpark (for now) is a budget park I can tell you that boomerang slide is not realistic. A small local park wouldn't have one. Take this with a grain of salt though my local park is super low budget they don't even name their slides, they have four main pool ones and a bunch of kiddie slides for the kiddie pool... They don't bother cleaning the bathrooms/changing rooms either.

Love this pump station with the filter system. It's so crucial for a waterpark to work in the end. Golden detail!
thanks mate! agreed, these little details are always worth the effort
I just can't get enough content from you, man. Love everything you do. So crisp, so clean, so real. Keep it up!
thanks mate. appreciate it :))
Love it. The vibe is just impeccable all around.
thank you my friend
Love this series! It's amzing how grounded and realistic it is.
thanks! glad you're enjoying the series :)
The colour palette of this park is just so satisfying 😍
thanks Yann! :)
Using the apples as gravel is crazy lol. Amazing work!
haha this game makes you do crazy things 😅
Glad I'm not the only one that's been binging The Pool Guy's content for research! I want to move into your pump room please and thank you.

ah well....how nice would be a...well.. terrain stamp tool. imagine we had something like this..
hahaha who could imagine such a thing!

Your runoffs are 10x shorter than they would need to be
haha i'm sure 10x is an exaggeration but that's interesting to know that they're too short. might look at lengthening them a bit
@@mineraljunction Ive been looking at a lot of waterparks on google maps, it gives some good perspective on how long runoffs can sometimes be
I think there is a planter bed you can use for mulch.
I'll have another look at that but I'm not sure it has the kind of gravely/pebbly texture i'm looking for 🤔
