Don't forget after you feed and brush the beasts, to collect their items. Also there are 3 chests per vivarium. You will eventually get a total of 4 vivarium for a total of 12 chests.
😂😂 I laughed out loud when you didn't recognise the spiders with the Arachnophobia Mode on. The roller skates is actually a refernece to the Prisoner of Azkaban, where in the movie Ron's boggart turned into a giant spider which is his greatest fear. When he castes the Boggart-banishing spell, he added roller skates to the legs, making the spider incapable to standing up.
I personally think they look creepier with the mode on. I would like to try it on the big guys to see what they look like
You're mom did a great job in decorating. You can conjure some things in the vivarium, but there are only things that can be conjured in vivarium and some are just only for the room. Because you can get an automatic feeder and a box with a ball for the beasts to play with and later on you get a breeding place for your beasts that you place in the vivarium. You break the spider eggs with fire, confringo is the best, that firfe spell you can do from far away. Christmas is my favorite holiday. You could've given 1 of your own venomous tentacula to that guy and left mr. lawley's tentacular alone.
The rooms looks great and organised. you and your mum did a great job. Theirs a few easter eggs if you look around properly. Like in toilets. Theirs 11.The graphics are wicked. Glad you look around landscape and rooms. No one in their right minds like spiders. Like the little ones. But not big ugly one or ones that bite. Yuck. Yer, do your thing. I enjoy watching how you play. Everyone ive seen are different. Good walk through. 👽🎮👍
When I realized I couldn't save Tobbs I was soo sad, ngl. But I like how layered these quests are and how not all of them can have a great outcome.

I found it really cute that you let your mom decorate the Come and Go Room! It turned out really nice! I had a lot of laughs during the spider part! 😂 And Christmas is also my favorite holiday. Here in Brazil, we don't celebrate Halloween or Thanksgiving, except in some cases!
I don't think I mentioned this in your last video. You can add your hippogriffs to your Viverium and still be able to summon them via your nabsack no matter where you are in the world. The nabsack works kind of like a floo flame for them. By leaving them in the Viverium you can get hippogriff feathers for your upgrades.
Also I heavily suggest you get a Beast Feeder spellcraft for all your Viveriums. It helps save time and makes life easier. The Feeder will feed your beasts for you magically and all you have to worry about it brushing them and getting the byproducts from them.

Just so know, the whole Auror story you found is for the Hufflepuff unique quest to get to the pages from the book that Jack took (you obviously did the Gryffendor one with the ghosts head game). The Hufflepuff one helps the Auror and takes you to Azkaban. Ravenclaw (about the Owl Rookery) and Slitherin (about the Kraken in the Lake) have unique ones too.

I really love how your Mom decorated the Room of Requirement. I usually like to change the theme of my room to compliment the House I'm in. For Ravenclaw I like to use scientific. For Hufflepuff I like botanical. For Gryiffendor I like eclectic. For Slytherin I like gothic.
You really need to grind on your potions and plants they’ll make battles less hard.
When you walked into Mrs. Thistlewood's house with the letters about her having been an Auror you happen to walked into what is Hufflepuff's exclusive "Search for Richard Jackdaw" quest. For Hufflepuffs they have to go to that house and talk to Mrs. Thistlewood. In my opinion, the Hufflepuff quest is the best one out of all 4 houses.
I personally would rate Hufflepuff in first place then Gryffindor second place. Slytherin is third and Ravenclaw last.

Unfortunately, those "I need x potion" quests can only be done the first time u talk to the person. If u don't have the supplies they need on u when u stumble across them, u r out of luck. Tbh, it's the worst of the few flaws this game has.
You can go back. I was out of it and next time I went back she asked me again. She gave me a bunch of other potions in return

Ominis would have been crushed to know that one day in the future he will be the great uncle of someone as awful as Voldemort according to the family tree online. No wonder he hates his family. The Gaunt family are really interesting in Harry Potter lore but it makes me feel bad for Ominis.
depending on whether you subscribe to the version where Voldemort is inherently a psychopath because he was concieved via love potion, a Gaunt-relative that wasn't utter shit preventing him from going to an orphanage after his mothers death might have made an actual difference.
If we ever get a sequel, I vote for a mission where we track down Tobbs' master #justiceforTobbs

The room your mom made looks great! She has a knack for that! You can build in the vivariums, but not everythere in there. Please take your time to explore EVERYTHING! There's so much to find!
As you said in this part of the playthrough, this is also probably my favorite part watching you discover all the nooks and crannies of Hogwarts. Too often, TH-cam recommends videos to me where people claim that the game hates Hogwarts castle and it’s an afterthought while the outside world is more fully developed. I always ignore those videos cuz, like, did we even play the same game? The castle is infused with so much love and care from the devs. So seeing your joy at discovering all these new areas is just so wholesome!
And your mom did a fantastic job designing your Room of Requirement! And I’m glad that you’ve optimized its layout so you can replenish your resources efficiently. I can’t wait to see how you design your vivariums. I’ve seen videos where people have created entire medieval ruins or almost fortresses from all the scenery collectibles.

There's no need to cut out exploring the castle to find stuff, just running around seeing the castle in full is half the fun of this game. Just about every room in this game is a reference to something, or there with an actual purpose. After playing this game myself, i started a project of trying to make a proper usable marauders map of the entire castle, using this game as a baseline and filling out the unused sections with all the rooms we know exist but arnt used in the game to make the most definitive map of the castle possible. Its pretty tough with some areas being kinda tricky to make add up, but its getting there =P
Another awesome video. As per usual, tips and notes as I watch.
1. Props to your mom for decorating. I wish I had someone to do that for my Rooms. I'm good at the "efficient", not so much at the "decorative".
2. Happy to see you have your work stations set up. If you keep returning to pick everything up at regular intervals, you'll never want for anything again.
3. I highly recommend grabbing the feeder conjuration spellcraft at Hogsmeade. It will automate half of your beast management (the feeding half, obviously). Toy box is more for fun so you can look at certain beasts enjoying a little game. Neither of these are as expensive as top tier potion stations so you should be able to afford them already.
4. Vivariums are pocket dimensions to keep your beasts safe and sound. They're not affected by seasons. Oh and all those bioms are vivariums, not just the grassy meadow one.
5. Since you mentioned you wanted to fly Caligo, you can change that in your inventory screen at any point, much like the brooms. Again, if you buy the Dark Arts pack, there's also a Thestral you can add to the roster.
6. There's more demiguise statues in the game than you need for the Alohomora upgrades: 9 for tier 2, 13 for tier 3, with the total standing at 30. You don't need to find every single one of them. Though, if you're a collector like myself, you probably will anyway just for bragging rights!
7. Glacius does work on stronger enemies (spider matriarchs, acromantulas, trolls, executioner wizards), but you have to incapacitate them otherwise using the relevant counter-attack. For spiders it's descendo when they raise high up to attack (matriarch) or to summon minions (acromantula). After that you'll have a couple seconds when Glacius-Diffindo does its full devastating damage. I've already posted troll strats under another video. As for executioners, Expeliarmus as they prepare to channel their powerful spell does the trick.
8. House Elfs' plight in the Wizarding World is so sad, really. They are more powerful than wizards on average (can cast without wands easily, teleport even into places where teleportation is banned, even do some proper damage with their magic), but they're under a pact of serfdom to the wizarding clan they're assigned to until released by being given clothing. And since most of the clans that can afford the house elf pact are pure-blood supremacists like Malfoys... that's what we see more often than not. How do you think someone who holds contempt for 80% of even their own kind treats other species? The elfs working at Hogwarts are among the few in the lore who are canonically happy in their servitude.
9. In most of the games I'd say full exploration is somewhat boring, but in HL many side activities are fun so it's entertaining to watch when you're doing them. Especially when we can see your awe and joy at every nook and cranny.
10. The doors in clocktower are another Hogwarts' Secret. Pay attention to the symbols on these doors and then have a closer look at the clock's pendulum. It should stay at the matching symbol long enough for the grate to fully open. You either already have the relevant spell for it or can unlock it.
11. Speaking of spells, again I implore you to organise them. The upcoming fights will get harder and harder so it'll be good to have them on muscle-memory efficiency.
12. With tier 2 Alohomora you can loot all Demiguise Moons from Hogsmeade and any hamlet you travel to (typically 1 per hamlet). With the 3 remaining ones at Hogwarts you should get to 13 in no time. Once you have tier 3, remember the Faculty tower where you've done the initial quest and the tower with the trophy room. There's quite a bit of loot waiting for you in those 2 places.
Loving the episode. I personally enjoy seeing you playing all the game as much as possible.

That jumpscare with the gigantic spider is awesome. I recently replayed the game (after the Update) and it managed to get me again!
That was a fun episode. Loved the part when you were exploring Hogwarts. You can check the graveyard in Hogsmeade at night - with the halloween decorations it looks spooky. Besides, there's one disillusionment chest there, you can find it.

For the locked doors with bars in clock tower, you need to use glacious or arresto momentum on the symbols that matches the door on the pendulum of the clock

One call out I think you’ll enjoy. Watch more mundane interactions around Hogwarts (like the invisible student and book one). Especially the two suits of armor in one of the hallways that start poking each other. There are so many little hilarious things they added to the NPCs and Hogwarts decorations

-Fun fact: some ppl use a mod with modified spiders, they dont look frightening anymore with that. Good for people with Arachnophobia, they wouldn´t touch that game for a lifetime.

I hate the spider replacement in arachniphobia mode. I hate spiders, but those things scared me more than the spiders did. On the other hand, I have a friend who thought they were hilarious and refused to play the game without arachniphobia mode because of it.
Now that you have Alohamora, u can finish the dedalian key round up and get easily the best cosmetic in the game.
For the Daedalian keys I ended up writing myself a checklist. At least with the Demiguise Statues you can check the Map Sections and see whether you found all in a given part of the Castle or World and focus on searching only the areas where you're still missing some. The Daedalian keys don't show up in the maps overview for the amount of Pages, Collection Chests, etc. you've found, so you're kinda stuck randomly searching the castle till you find them all - and if you don't and look them up you're likely stuck checking all the locations again because you almost certainly won't be able to remember where you've already been.
I am always amused how he says "I hear chime here" but then not to go finding them 🤣
Your mum did an amazing job. It inspired me for my own Room of Requirement.
There are 4 doors in the Clock Tower with symbols on them. These symbols are also under them clock's mechanisms. Use Arresto Momentum on the pendulum when it's in front of the corresponding symbol to open the doors.
Use Levioso on the beasts, not Glacius! Poor things!
Kuddo's to your mom for decorating the RoR she did a great job, btw when you walk back from the mapchamber, you walk across a wall with a big K, walk trough the K, and always ask for money when the answers gives you the option, and buy a beast feeder for your beasts :) And pop the red balloons. The big chest in the attic, there is a ladder in the barn where the chest was next to explosive barrel

And another thing, in the Clock Tower where you did Crossed Wands 32:54 there is a Hogwarts secret.
Use the revelling spell to find doors with symbols then look up at the clock gears to find the same symbol, now time it right with the freezing spell to stop the clock on that symbol to unlock the doors.
Great episode. Love the longer time. And watching the exploring. I can never play the game for the first time again... that's why I love watching first playthroughs and reexperiencing all the game 'firsts' through you😊
Re; moving the big spheres in the merlin trials, remember that you have another spell that lets you pick things up and move them. Much easier than pushing them around with force😏
Loveling the videos dude! Your Mum did an amazing job with the room of requirement, perhaps letting her name some of your beasts would be fun? I’d recommend using potions in combat more, my first play through I was just so excited to cast spells but the focus potion and the maxima potion are really your best friends.
Using Confringo on the sacks instead of busting them open will make it where you don't have to worry about the baby spiders. Also if you zoom all the way out of the map in the open world it will break it down into areas where it will show you the number of stuff you will be looking for is in that area (like landing pads, Balloons, Ancient magic hotspots, Demiguise statues, and others). Hogwarts is the same way but you don't need to zoom out just click on the areas of the castle and it will tell you. Hope this helps.
always goto the main eating hall and check out the decor when seasons change...amazing
Random tip
If you don’t like waiting through the crouch animation under low hanging rock you can do the rolling movement and you’ll pass right under (when timed right)
omg that's such a nice idea to have your mum come up with the interior design 😊 💕 it looks beautiful! the game will get bigger and bigger too so it's good to have the theme set for it in the long run. loving the playthrough so much! I'm on my 4th replay and the game still amazes me. the arophobia mode is the most hilariously terrifying thing I've seen 😭
You can indeed conjure stuff in the vivariums you just have to be in a playable space. You were way out of bounds the first time you tried it lol. I also believe there’s 3 collection chest per vivarium
I don’t know if anyone has said or not but a little tip on your next play-through collecting the demiguise statues it’s easier to fly to each little town and collect those and you’ll collect eonugh to get Alohomora II faster than hunting Hogwarts
I also had the glitch where I couldn’t get to the chest around the 1:13:00 mark and it KILLS ME! I tried to fly in there just to get it and it wasn’t happening no matter what I did
Concentration lev 3 would be good option for your combat style. It Is worth to put it to all your items, the effect Is multiplied
Your mom did n amazing job decorating but i think she will need to do many redecorating sessions in the future when you unlock more stuff

there are shinies that you can find for all the beasts and its fun searching for them my personal favorite is the shiny niffler and niffler in general. I wear the niffler mask no matter what lol

Arachnophobia mode is a no go for me 😂😂… I would have to say “Fall” is my favorite season.. although born and raised in NY and now in FL you don’t see much change to the fall season lol… any holiday that gets me a paid day off is my favorite one 😂😂😂

concerning the doors you couldn't open in the clock tower, it's one of the secrets you have to discover (like the corridor under the bridge), I don't know if you want to figure it out by yourself or if you want the answer ;)

When i tell you the first time i played this game and played the tobbs mission i was SOBBING when i found his body😭😭 i wanted to take him with me and it made me mad the game doesnt let you take him to deek
It was so sad.. 😭 If they let us take him back to Deek, idk if I could handle seeing Deek’s reaction😭
