One thing that is pretty unique, as an auto maker, is the distinction of selling cars that may never depreciate... Very few auto makers can claim that about their cars...
Koenigsegg Gemera. Not only does it have 2300 horsepower, which makes it the most powerful hypercar in the world, but it is also functional and practical for daily use.
It would be interesting to see a pair of these electric motors in a race boat application with a low rpm high output diesel generator and battery set providing the electrical power to run them.
Use a overunity homopolar generator that taps aetheric ZPE like Adam Tromblys dynamo did. i just dont understand the obsession with chemical fuel burning and dangerous batteies. Also there is the neutrino power cube ZPE generators.
Sorry to spoil your concept but the power needed of the generator would have to be more than that of the motors so there's no logic to your statement, just run turbocharged diesel engines for efficient power.. .
@@jlo13800 Where to buy those overunity generators? Can I get a demonstration, you think? Until these things enter our reality in a way that because hard to deny, pops and bangs are still the most reliable way to become off-the-grid for your long distance driving needs.
Four wheel steering seems to be an erroneous inclusion into the spec list. It's not on the Koenigsegg website and you're the first source that announces it. Some 2020 sources mentioned it, but I'm not sure that ever was a thing for the direct drive stage either.
AWD Hydrogen V10 and Dark Matter motors in a Le Mans prototype.. would be amazing. Just imagine the power the EV's make with the sound of a V10 screaming fueled by a renewable fuel.
Not really. Because the numbers are skewed, and there's huge diminishing returns. For example, the difference between a 500 and 800 hp car is basically non existant in 0-60, and even then, a 300hp car is only slightly slower than a 500hp 0-60. I think the 1/4 mile times matter more though... The new supra is only slightly faster than the original supra 0-60. Like a few tenths of a sec. Basically unnoticeable.
Its an option so u get two versions. One with the 3cylinder paired motors to make 1400hp and one with the jesko v8 in a hot v turbo configuration, combined with electric motors to make 2300hp.
I want to put this motor between my 105 hp miata motor and tranny. That way I can still say the motor is stock. I had a 100% stock CRX back in the day that I would take suckers' cash due to a sneaky pete nitrous bottle secretly installed. It was only a 50 shot but made a huge difference in such a small car. This is a modern version with a little more kick. Me want.
This guy is a automotive genius man i really would love to meet him and just listen to him talk about how he is revolutionized the automotive industry and i wish i could afford one of his cars
I’m not an motor engineer, and not I’m blinded by marketing of an hyper car nice design or performances like many people, who when they see Koenigsegg video, straight away say “they are genius”, “best car of the world” 😂 It’s a super nice car, techno inside, 99.9% of us would understand nuts about it, and don’t car as long as performances are there Just keep in mind, that’s all purely marketing also 😂 and if this technology is so great, I believe that others would also use it one day or another. And techno for an hyper car is different than the one for a van which will drive millions of km 😂
They did deliver the Regera hybrid hypercar. That car doesn't even have a gearbox. It's got one gear, 7th out of 8, in Koenigsegg terms. And a torque converter, and 3 electric motors. Similar was to go into Gemera, but then they invented the tiny but powerful adn quick gearbox, and by placing ICE and e-motor in a web of clutches, suddenly the car became a lot more usable. ICE power could now also reacht the rear wheels. Not as big and heavy a battery was needed, as a single new motor could do the needed job. Car drops 300 hp vs the 2020 proposition, but also loses weight and get a lot better power at a given speed thanks to the 9-speed that keep ICE rpm nice and high if needed.
Koenigsegg makes very cool cars. I likethat it's not just a hybrid and carbon fiber, but smaller yet more powerful, proving you don't need a gas guzzler to go fast and hve amazing proformance. Sadly the brand sells their cars at such an inflated price, owning one is not realistic for your blue collar customer.
Just send me one to make a motorcycle with... I promise I will have a face hurting smile so big that the corners of my mouth will meet in the back of my head ...
I don't know enough about engineering, but if they can do an 800 HP motor that weights 20 Kilos (about 40 pounds) is it possible to make a motor 1/4th in scale about 5 kilos (10 pounds) with just 200 HP for electric motorcycles and trikes?
We see the fact that marketing rules the world - Yasa motors helped simple Latvian shed team own waaaay better competition on Pikes Peak, but still these motors did not become hyperpopular. Now, marketing geniuses are on to the technology.
Tesla is great with traction control (still to see that from Koenigsegg, to be fair), but for a company that wants to sell millions upon millions of units, they're great at ignoring what people who drive cars actually like. Screen behind steering wheel? They saved a dollar so you can't have it. Turning stalk behind the wheel? Nope, they can save a dollar there as well. And what they taketh, does not even become an option when you decide to purchase anyway.
5:09 but it's a three phase motor at heart! Where's the sqrt(3)? What, that 3rd wire does nothing?? Assuming the power factor is 1, it should be more like 450A. P/(V×sqrt(3)). *Confident announcer voice* "We can compute the current..." but then you don't. LMAO
Rich boys create the huge carbon footprint and we gotta counter act their mess whilst we never will afford such gas guzzlers or even total 5 flights in our life time
They ditched the 3 cylinder? That sounds about right. It was a 4 stroke... 😬 If 3 phase ac uses 3x as much electricity as single phase, I guess 6 phase uses 6x as much. Imagine using 3-6x as much electricity to do the same work, doesn't sound appealing does it? The problem is in the thinking that using 3-6x as much electricity means 3-6x as much force or power. It doesn't. It uses 6x the "power", but still only produces 1x the force... Electricity is repeatable power. It's the reason why motors have multiple poles, and multiple windings in the coils. So using 3-6 ac circuits is using 3-6x as much electricity, when you could just be using 1x as much electricity in a single phase setup with multiple poles. My opinion about motors is that they are super overrated. Theoretically, they shouldn't be able to make Horsepower at all. Not because I don't want them too, but because it doesn't make any sense. If accelerating the motor doesn't effect how much electricity it is capable of using, then where is the Horsepower coming from? That would just be torque. Horsepower is multiple iterations of average torque per unit distance over time. This means producing more iterations of average torque per distance doesn't increase the total torque at any given time. So spinning an engine faster won't increase the average torque output, but it will increase the total power output. In other words, when you spin an engine faster, it produces the same amount of torque more often. This is not the case with a motor. We know this is true, because a motor can produce full torque at 0 rpm. Electric cars are basically not high performance, even less high performance than diesel. Aka, they're economy cars. 😊
I wonder what the electric motor lag is like. People say they have instant torque but this is wrong. The reason evs launch so well is because of the traction control not “instant torque” electric motors have rpm ranges such as engines, they work differently obviously.
I can't understand any one of those technical terms and how they work? I can't even imagine how those transmission is placed around the engine. How the hell input shaft and out shaft are in one unit??? It's not a car. I should be a rocket scientist to understand how it work and how they mange all that extremely powerful voltage and why the hell that motor runs only under 10,000 RPM and create close to 1000hp. How they manage the heat out of that tiny monster powered motor! Every elements of the car is out of my understanding!

Kind of ironic that it doesn't run off of oil, don't you think?
The name Gemera is the two Swedish words "ge mera" combined. Translated it says "give more"
The whole company setup and vehicles they produce are amazing.

Actually you got all the information correctly. Good job
1400hp is with the 3 cylinder engine, it's 2300hp with the V8
It reduces the wear load of a cylinder.
Why would customers bother with the 3 cylinder? I'n for a penny, in for a pound.

right, what about the technology needed for an inverter to be able to generate 750 amps @ 800 volts?
Exactly, that's more impressive
You should ask drrivEo team from Latvia. That had it done some years ago on Pike's Peak.
Awesome news and great for hydrogen powered technologies too as Ford is working on 6 phase motor too and I believe Honda as well with LG

good but how to intergrate it to mass produced general used cars at resonable cost
