Thanks for the video. Honestly I struggle to regain confidence in the ocean after having been under water a few times on 2-3 meters waves. I can only surf in holiday and I would like to regain the confidence (which is not easy since i cant go to the ocean so often). You mention to just go and get smashed in the currents and learn from it, but do you think is ok to go in the water with some fear?

Question wasnt for me to respond but this is what i would do personnaly , just go on sheltered spot and gain this confidence back one sess after another ! you can surf on smaller wave too, i usualy find the most fun wave to be around 1.2m - 1.5m , fear is what keep you alive, if it's too scary just dont go ! 🤙🤙

Yeah exactly don’t go in the ocean without anyone, come with some surfer or when there is the safety.
