You can do it too you know? Lol I've done it a bunch of times just to prove it's really not that hard. Twist and pull at the same time they come right apart
Google the "Chaster bunny" if you don't know what that is! There's also a video on the Mythical Kitchen channel but it's unlisted so you'd have to dig for it.
I’m probably not going to be seen, but do a taste teste using the format of the fancy vs fast food style for canned foods. 1. Cheapest canned soup 2. Most expensive canned soup 3. Fancy store brand soup 4. Panera/corner bakery or some soup place Put them all down randomly and guess blindfolded what is what. That would slap.
I like when they screw around so much that they don't finish an episode or when they finish an episode too fast and then just screw around the rest of the time
Rhett can arrive at the microwave in time to beat the ding AND wakes up right before his alarm clock. I think it’s time to test how good he is at keeping time! Lots of potential
We need an episode (a full one, not just a More), where they do a blind taste test of microwaved vs stove top cooked food. Not just soup either, a whole range of stuff to see if people who cook things in a pan are correct when they say the microwave makes it taste weird. Say which tastes better and then vote with the pokey sticks which is the microwaved one
The microwave makes it taste weird because of all the previous foods microwaved in it. People don't clean microwave after every use. While on a stovetop, you almost always will use a clean pan.
Link talking to inanimate objects is my new favorite thing lolol yelling at his chair in the main episode and "What are you doing Stouffers?" here lol the greatest
Im actually binge watching past seasons of gmm, and just watched the episode where the "ripping of the apple" debuted. All I can say is wow...wow Chase lol.
"We should write em all down and put em in a place." YES!! I would really appreciate it if all the results of their various taste tests and rankings were posted somewhere that I could find and reference.
Rhett knows the microwave. I don't know his history, but I can feel it in his soul. The microwave is sooooo useful. Before I could afford an oven/stove, all I had was the microwave and a toaster. Made amazing sausage, egg and cheese english muffins all the time. Lol
i love that rhett uses the power settings on the microwave, i’m literally the only person i know who changes it and i feel so connected to him knowing this 😅
I feel STRONGLY that you gotta heat soup on the stove because the microwave doesn’t heat it evenly so unless you mix it aggressively it’s partially hot and partially cold. STOVE SUPERIORITY
I 100% share Rhett's super power of knowing when timers are about to end without counting or looking at clocks. Of all the people I've ever talked to about it, I've never met anyone else who also has that ability.
I think Link’s right that you need to compile everything you’ve learned about cooking things over the many years into a book.. I’d buy “Good Mythical Learnings” in a heartbeat!
I also think that is the way to do it. I'd love to see it like almost an encyclopedia thing. After all that work, a book and several episodes would be perfect to celebrate some (any) milestone.
The reason to cook on the stove rather than the microwave is because it cooks more evenly. So if I have to cook in microwave I lower the power so that it cooks through rather than heating the outside to scalding while being cold in the middle
Shelf ambivalent: doesn't care which way it goes on the shelf, or has mixed feelings about it. Shelf agnostic: it is impossible to prove whether or not there is a shelf.
I'm with Rhett on this one I absolutely do that the power settings depending on what I am heating up or cooking in the microwave you absolutely have to on some-things.
"Do y'all know what a love lick is?"
"No thank you."
My family always called them love taps
Ive literally never heard this so when he said “maybe it’s something that never left my family” I was like 😳
He was just trying to cover up a flob
His call me I’m serious call me ..was kinda sad I hope he does call him
I want a whole episode of GMM on deceptive marketing.
I really like this idea
Like a link version of the Rhett Rants.....
I’d love to see this!
They are only amazing detectives if it involves snacks
Can't believe Link solved that lasagna mystery. Now Josh needs to test it.
I LOVED watching Link explain to Rhett the lasagna bombshell. That was so satisfying for some reason
Agreed! I'm usually more of a Rhett fan and he usually has the better reasoning, but good for Link for that one!
Honestly! I watched it back a couple of times😂
Next time they do any kind of live show, we need Chase ripping apples as the opening act.
You can do it too you know? Lol I've done it a bunch of times just to prove it's really not that hard. Twist and pull at the same time they come right apart
Chase is the human embodiment of a hug. He just seems like the sweetest boy lol
Pretty sure someone on the show called him a teddy bear. I agree though he seems like an all around nice dude
But he is also John Wayne Chasey, so there is that
And he likes cats. 🥰 I'm not attracted to him, but he's definitely someone I would love as a friend.

Rhett and Link’s next vlog: “That time we ate an entire Stouffer’s lasagna while watching the news!”
I love that idea!
I miss the vlogs

@@pixelette98 dude the vlogs were so much fun. I like that they aren’t forcing them like how most you tubers do but I really enjoyed them

i would absolutely love to see a canned foods microwaved/stove top blind taste test!!!!
100%!! MAKE IT HAPPEN GMM!! 🙌🏾
same!!!
@@jill9997 if you're not joking, canned foods are removed from cans before cooking (in the kitchen).
Make it happen
I'd be so down for this!!!!!!
I came here for Chase ripping that apple, was not disappointed
The good mythical b***h at his best. You're almost as beautiful as the girls in my videos.

The stove top vs microwave could be like the one they did with air fryer vs oven if it's worth the time
@Logikure they’ve done that too
I like when they screw around so much that they don't finish an episode or when they finish an episode too fast and then just screw around the rest of the time
I am obsessed with Chase. Every time I see him I get a little happier.

The superhero: The Anticipator has arrived
Rhett and Link exposing the big frozen lasagna cabal. Just be careful. I don’t want you guys to get hurt.
The way Rhett looks at Link when they both guessed 18 minutes was SO DAMN ADORABLE 🥺🥺🥺

@@thespoiledtexan3904 Yes, there has been an oven one but as far as I recall, no microwave/stovetop episode

Chase moments (especially ripping apples in half) are my favourite moments of GMM 🤣❤️

He said it in the main episode too.

Bagel bites come with the silver tray so they are crisp in the microwave.
Except they're not.
This man never cooked them right then. The silver tray is to fool a fool. 😆
Links a mood in this episode. Haha. “I really don’t” haha.
You could do Ramen, ravioli, soup, mac and cheese. Frozen steamer bags in microwaves and canned veggies on stove top!! I love this concept
I see what you did, Link. "2 Snaps up, in a circle!" Probably only funny to us old folks. ;)
For me, heating it on the stove top just gives me a more uniformly heated soup.
It’s 6 am… oops must have stayed up all night

The reason to cook on the stove rather than the microwave is because it cooks more evenly. So if I have to cook in microwave I lower the power so that it cooks through rather than heating the outside to scalding while being cold in the middle
voldemort didn't seem to have a problem when it came to not having a nose
The one exception to my preference to microwaving soup is tomato soup for dipping grilled cheese in and I have no rational basis for this.
I do it too. I also have to have mayo, garlic salt, and basil on my grilled cheese.
Shelf ambivalent: doesn't care which way it goes on the shelf, or has mixed feelings about it.
