Class 375 and/or 377 electrostar units are just the right trains for long distance travels and all the rail networks, companies and services in the UK and should be kept and well looked after successfully for as long as possible.
So does this mean that Southern as well as Thameslink are going to inflict ironing-board standard seating on long journeys across the network. A regular commute from brighton to london sitting on these seats is an ordeal.

I cannot wait for all the 377s to receive this refurbishment, as the /6s and /7s are much better with most of these in-place already.
