Hi Steven, I don't know if you'll read this. But I used to be such a fan of your show Designer Guys, I found some old episodes from the first season and took me back to the first show in which I watched for the very first time, a couple of men transforming the life of others! And you both did it amazingly well! You are the OGs and paved the way to the people who are nowadays presenting designing shows. I really admire you and I couldn't believe the passing of your partner, I just found out today! I'm so sorry, for your loss!

Steven, I’ve followed your journey since I took a day decorative art course (over the paint store in Toronto) in the mid ‘90’s. Saw you (also the lovely, flamboyant Chris) on your first visit to Marilyn Denis’s show. Chris-such an acutely tragic loss. I hope your life is fulfilling again. Only the best! 💖💖💖💖💖

Hi Steve, I didn't know Chris was gone. I am so sorry. you have taken time to mourn his passing and emptiness becomes comforting at times. But Steven you have to live life for him as he would have wanted it. When my loved one passed on a decade ago.. he told me to breathe every scent, experience every emotion and taking every ounce of life. I am sure Chris is hungry for that. this tragedy will never fade but it will dull over time. if I have survived a decade you will too. So please build upon what Christ has given you. hugs. if you need to talk please do contact me.

You two have always been terrific role models for me. The teamwork, the creativity, the fun and most of all: the love is inspiring. Chris is missed. I wish you all the best in your new endeavors. Thank you. XOXO

All someone had to do was hit him on the head, knock him out, and toss him off the balcony dead weight would have done the damage to his skull, along with some health. Besides, balconies, at that rate per money, or condos, require a certain height of balcony, otherwise they'd be shut down, if so, howcome they didn't sue the company that owned the building for not being up to code, also, bottom line, is simple huge insurance policy, would have kept momma quiet, probably thinking , well my kid is dead, nothing is gonna bring him back, so may as well take a pay off. He was an addict, who had relapsed many times; chris is laughing all the way to the bank. He has refused interviews, if he was a sleepwalker, why rent in a high building, why not put a dead bolt lock in place, this was preventable, which is why I believe there was serious problems that there was an open and shut case

Let it go. You have no idea what happened. Why drag the negativity in?

I remember being bothered by the lack of detail released about what actually happened I just hope it was thoroughly investigated even if it may not have been publicized this was a very strange accident
