Your commentary and visual help is amazing fr!! I cant believe you have less than 300k Also, you made huge progress on the pixe art!!! Loved the video, super entertaining, please please please dont stop making content im sure you'll have hundreds of thousands subscribers in less than a year or two!!
I appreciate the compliments 🤗 I just want to release videos I’m proud of and people can enjoy. It’s comments like yours that are encouraging. Never stop being an encouragement to others.
Im a pixel artist in a couple mmos. Heres a few pointers. The rules don't matter whats pleasing to the eye is always best. Its better to shade in clusters not around the edge of a sprite. Using aa and advanced things like it is fine at any size especially for suggesting shape. Above all have fun.
awesome work dude! I had a question, how did you get your first client? I want to start sharing my art and maybe find clients too but Im struggling with that! I'd be glad if you shared some tips
For sure! I just started with the people close to me and ask them “do you know anyone who is looking for some artwork?” I’ve done this in the past when I was doing photography and videography. It’s a good way to get your feet wet. I’d recommend in the early stages you focus on just enjoying the art and not focus on the money. Full transparency, the client is a close friend of mine and I didn’t charge him anything. This was really a gift for him. Nonetheless, I treated it like I would any client. I asked him for reference photos, talked about the aspects he wanted the most, and gave two revisions. Maybe there’s someone in the comments that can also give some insight but that’s been my experience. Hope it helps!
@@GirkyDev i guess just that when I see these types of videos they would usually make a new piece of art daily, but i do think your first client thing was still interesting. also for the artwork idk if you did do it but there is also dithering which you could try out
Damn your day one pixel art still looks better than any pixel art I've been trying to do for the last 2 months or so 😭enjoyed the video good job
Do you make pixel art of those creepy anime toddlers that you're into? That's really cool and normal, btw.
bro i was like 10 when i started and was 11 when i actually became good (tho i started out decent)

@@GirkyDev thanks so much man!! I appreciate the feedback and the words.
Anytime 🤙🏻
That's crazy dude
it is indeed
I'm doing pixel art for a few years now and I only do something here and there when I feel like it.
That’s awesome, it’s a great hobby to have and enjoy!
I love how after I played hollow knight, I hear the music everywhere, Truth beauty and hatred, and pale court (I think). also great video.
I appreciate the compliment 🤗 A great sound track to pair with a great video!
always think of pixel art as 3d, not a pancake, so just highlighting the edges makes the art look flat.
Thank you for the advice, this is a solid critique! I will put that in my notes, this perspective will help in the future.
sorry if this is rude but i feel like you should've given it a couple more days
If your intent is to offer a suggestion to make the video better or the art work better, I’m all for it. Any suggestions?
