It seems your still getting used to just how capable the Mogs are. You have done just enough to yours to make make it very capable without spending an insane amount of money. Replacing the tires is the first and foremost mod to a Mog. I will be getting one (eventually). Good footwork / camerawork Ang.

You can remove an abalone from the rocks by giving it a quick twist to the right with your bare hand. That way you do not need a lifter that can hurt it or damage the shell. Just don'n let your fingers come in the way between the shell and the rock 😀

living the dream kids . But if you ever get a chance to come to British Columbia Canada
and drive through the Rocky Mountains and Cariboo Region of B C with many fresh water lakes maybe catch a 5 or 6 LB Kokanee ( trout )
or see a 600 LB Black Bear , maybe a 1000 LB Grizzly Bear in your campsite or a 1800 LB Moose that stands 6ft at the
shoulders with a 5ft rack across ( antlers ) . and enjoy a camp fire Surround by Douglas fir & Cedar trees and that are 150 to 200 ft tall
and 1000 years old , or white water raft the Mighty Thompson / Fraser river
PS: You might even see or hear the Screems of the Legertery Sasquatch (big foot )

If you aren't gonna keep the ab then you shouldn't pull it off the rock. Measure , then flick of the rock coz all your doing is possibly killing the ab and if fisheries are there on the shore when you get out of the water they'll nail you for undersized abs and over your bag limit.

Have you taken lessons in off road driving in a Mog? I'd recommend a day's course, rather than the experimenting you are doing, now doing quite well I might add, but 'knowing' what you should do and what to expect is important. Best Wishes. :)

    Get yourself a belly bag.
Great for placing crayfish, abelone etc while you dive....even fish, but that could become dicy.
I have found some of my biggest abelone unexpectedly in the past while spearfishing.
Besides it allows you to gather more food or when looking for abelone and not sure of the size or limits to take a few and then measure on the rocks and release the undersize back in the water
    I really enjoy your show.
