  • In this video, we go over enabling Multi-factor Authentication, or MFA, for Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) Spring Update, or ARM. We use an Azure AD Conditional Access Policy to enforce MFA on a group of users. We also set an MFA Trusted IP address to exclude a public IP source from the MFA Policy.

One thing we've noticed is that MFA prompts only occur one time with the Remote Desktop thick client. Of course on next sessions, there's no prompt for MFA when opening resources that are already subscribed. Any idea how to MFA when accessing individual resources?

Hello Travis, thanks for the content, is there a way to make the mfa each time user login to vdi rather asking for first time?

We deployed this, but every single time a user gets the MFA prompt they also have to answer the "Stay signed in to all your apps" at 11:38 instead of just when first subscribing like normal. Any way to get around this?
