I wish we had more operators like you where I'm at (Saskatoon, Canada). Our guys seem to like making their piles as wide and as short as possible, many parking lots are hopelessly clogged with snow til the spring melt. I grew up running equipment on the farm so this all makes perfect sense to me, I just wish more guys would care about the job they're doing.
Lol, except your bucket was still full when you backed off, once you dump it you're at square 1. Best to push maintaining a slow downward boom as your front wheels climb up the pile. That way the back of the pile is pushed and stockpiled.
Thanks for the advice kid. Honestly how many years experience could he possibly have he looks like he's 18 I've been running heavy equipment for over 15 years and never thought that so many people would watch just piling snow this must be a how to for people who don't know what they're doing
Never seen one of these snow pushers,,, And considering we can have heavy snow for 5-6 months and that not a single company in 200km radius uses one when it looks quite useful makes me wonder if i have to show this to my boss
nice machine - i do removal for one of the airport companies that dont believe is fixing any of their equipment. as of now, my 50+ yr old caterpillar has, no lights, no windshield wipers, no heat or defroster, no mirrors, and now has no brakes what-so-ever.. im told to "drive slow" and run into the pile if i need to stop.. kinda hard to do when working an active dispatch hub for fed-ex near a major airport. people would kill to have a machine like that..
I love challenging myself to see how high I could stack with a case 580 super M series ! Haven't tried with one of these babies tho !!! Looks like fun Who came first by the way?
Hey man, love your videos. Do you think this same process applies to a skid with a pusher? I have a S650 with a box and I'm curious if this technique will work. What you think? Thanks!
You're the best Mr. Marshall CK💪👍 I seen you in action in Milwaukee Wisconsin... how things going in the pandemic now😷✌🚨🚨🚨🚨

I have to say you are so very kind for taking the time to demonstrate!
Great vid! Helpful to a future heavy equipment operator living in Canada
Thanks!
I can stack snow about 10 feet high with my 4 wheeler but it takes quite a bit of running it back and forth

I would have thought that making big snow piles would be done the best with a telehandler with a big snow bucket.

If I showed up to run a machine for a company in the winter and it had no heat I'd just go home. That's not right.
Great video, its a bit like buck raking white silage :)

Who came first by the way?
It is fun to see how high you can get it to stack! What do you mean by who came first?
you would laugh if you saw what they give me to use. their feeling is "if you dont wanna do it we have other people waiting that will "
will try to post vid tomorrow expecting 10 inchs CHI TOWN
Lol of course u did.. Excellent. !
good vid my husband is running JOHN DEER 544 with 16 foot pusher he even said your vid was cool ( he said his piles r bigger)
Last year the snow was so high, we brought in mini excavators to help pile it
PA diecast construction why minis?
@@mikea6455 cheaper running costs and snow is light, so you can use a big bucket on a small excavator
Hmm whatever works I guess 👉 th-cam.com/video/VnvhnnutwdI/w-d-xo.html
hey buddy good video now would that work with skid steer ??
Thanks man, Not really with a skid-steer. They are just too small. I guess it would kind of work
probably doesn't have enough reach
I love watching plowing videos. But not snow plowing 😉
"Snow pusher"?(Are you referring to a shovel or the articulated endloader loader you are driving? )
The snow pusher is the yellow attachment on the front of the bucket.
We've got a 14' pusher for the loader and an 8' pusher for the Bobcat.
+Dirt Ninja would the bucket act as a snow pusher if you didn't have the snow pusher on it?
How come you don't add videos to your playlist
I do... I dont know what you mean?
Thanks again bro for sharing this..👍2018... $$$$$ Yeah...✌
I seen you in Action Marshall 💪😊👍you're the best from the rest.⭐⭐⭐ how are things going in the pandemic now🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨😷😷😷🙊2020.. What ✌$$$$$$$
What size pusher?
Hey man, love your videos. Do you think this same process applies to a skid with a pusher? I have a S650 with a box and I'm curious if this technique will work. What you think? Thanks!
Thanks! Yes this will work, just not as well. Skids just dont have the same reach so its hard to stack it very high.
+Dirt Ninja unless you have big balls and drive up that biotch
+Travis C build a ramp when using skidsteer
Oh I thought u said the person with the biggest piles wins..
oh haha. I won of course!
This isn't rocket science!!!
Theodore yeah no kidding, we ain't splitting the atom here.
@Rick Brannigan any operator know this technique...
@Rick Brannigan you're not to Bright
@Rick Brannigan only viewing to see the loader not advice that everyone knows already! But nice try
