thanks - i know I could have read the manual, but helped me to have both hands free and follow the steps lol - that manual is fiddly!

nice one!! I have the paw1500 . but... after I do the steps and the watch writes "ok" the compass, after the calibration, shows what ever it wants again.

You might a defective unit maybe?

Mine was hit by a magnet so it not showing the right direction.
