Another top quality video! I built a cart for my tig welder a few months back, I used perforated stainless sheet for my shelves so any dust that would gather can easily be blown away with an airline!
nice work sir - I cant afford a plasma cutter but I do like the welding masks on the inversion fusion website so I will be purchasing one of those for my wife to give me for xmas :) - keep up the good work
G'day Matt. I'm enjoying your newly found channel and this was a great build project. I noticed you're using your plasma cutter off your welding table quite often and so might I suggest you fab up a little table on wheels that can catch the offcuts/sections rather than having them drop on the floor. Should save your back over time from bending over to pick things up off the floor. It doesn't have to be too large, and just make the height so it can slide underneath the bench out of the way when not in use. Just a thought from an old geezer with a bad back. Cheers :)
I have the same evosaw . I noticed the 45 angle beeing of too. I made a arrow of tig welding wire. Now I have much better cuts. The dail on the clamp is pretty accurate but the line on the base is off. Hope this helps.
Got the chassis bit cut today should be about the same size as your one based on 50mm box section and 235mm gap for the bottle. So far so good! but might be a tadge heavy as the only box section I had was 50 x 50 x 3! I will make the shelf out of 25 x 50 like yours.
Hey Matt, thanks for the design inspiration. I built a similar cart based on your basic layout, but modified it for my needs. Trying to upload a photo but don't seem to be able to do it.
Matt, Great build on the cart nice & light but strong i went a bit over the top with mine and fitted shelves for welding clamps now it‘s a little to heavy it moves fine when it‘s moving but you have to get a bit shove to get it started lol. I did a shout on your channel for my subscribers. Cheers Dave
I see most of these carts only caster the front wheels and use straight wheels in back. My current wood-based cart has four casters, so it is easy to move around (when the wheels don't jam on debris..). I got 4 5in casters like you have, but I have two of those wheels you used also (noflat solid tires) not sure which is best now..
Love the videos keep them coming hope to see more also like the magnets that turn on and off is it possible to leave a link on where to get them thanks a lot keep them coming
Great job.So much better than my cast- off metal shelf with baby carriage wheels for a cart. Could you tell me about the pistol looking tool you used to spot weld the plates? I have not seen one before.
yeah the evolution saw mitre gauge is shite. i use a real angled square. i had a hard time cutting with my evo380 also...i had tubing fly up inside the blade...kinda scary...nice build great channel
Great vids as always, to save you from busting your back ie lifting the mongrel, recovery truck bed, do you have any good overhead beams you could hang a block and tackle/winch/pulley block off, or maybe consider if you can get a hold of any scrap/cheap beams/girders and knock up an a frame gantry.
Great video. You should wear proper eye protection (face shield) when grinding though. Metal debris in the eye is not fun and is the number one welding injury.
loose the front supporting column that way u can easily slide front wheel under the car if j ever need a cart closer to u while u work inside the car. cheers
Great video! About to do something similar as my first real project. Can I please ask, what thickness did you use for the checker plate corner support pieces please? Cheers
Joe Atwork if I had urchs super power welding skill I'd build a water jacket boiler round it and gravity feed half a dozen radiators around the whole cow shed😉
Nice job ... with the tall heavy gas bottle is there any concern with it tipping over? Just looking it seems like wheels are close together. Other question is using it do you find it better to have two wheels and two casters or would just two wheels and crutch tips be better?
It's not a big deal to make a mistake or two. It's the true craftsman that can correct them and make it look right. Thanks for showing your human.
That has to be one of the best half an hours I have spent - most informative and a pleasure to learn fabrication from you, indeed I thank you Matt.
Love that you hired Alvin, Simon and Theodore to do the drawings :D
nah, commentary by Stuart ( the minion )
".....want a plane that loops the loop, I STILL WANT A WELDING CART (ALVIN!) ........Please Christmas don't be late!
Your two second,"proud man stance", after you announced your finished build, made the wow factor even greater! Good job guy, keep it up.
Another enjoyable video , I love watching talented people at work. Looking forward to seeing the next video.
You are a top welder fabricator love the videos

Simplicity and scrap metal! Got yourself another follower... Gotta build my cart, thanks for the idea!
I love the magnet wire brush tip.
Well played getting the plasma cutter. Well deserved top quality work and enjoyable videos
Liked the two squares to check bottle size. Made me feel dumb for not thinking of it. Thank you.
Amazing job add always mate. That space underneath looks like the perfect place to hang grinders and grinding consumables to me.
That is a good Project for the welding cart you done a good job
I love that steelbrush trick 👌👌
Blast of compressed air works well too
Matt, thank you for the video. Just what I need for my new workshop.
Really enjoyed the cart build.
Very nice. Looks good to the eye with no shelves.
Quite a nifty trolly you made, the bigger wheels make it better 👍
There are a bunch of cart build videos but I like this one much better, great channel and 1 more subscriber.
7:20 Thanks for the tip!
Nice simple design. Looks good dude.
Good tutorial specially on welding the rear wheels.
Great tip with the squares! Giant caliper👍
You are an awesome fabricator!
Nice job Matt
Looks great! I need some of those on/off magnets.
Cool build and some good fabrication tips too.
Awsome weld troley i would stick two triangle gussets on the angel iron for the wheels at back or they will bend the rear wheels out 😁👍✌️
or a long bolt from side to side
Thanks Man. Great idea. Perfect solution for my workshop.
I really liked it, greetings from Russia.
i learn something from every video. thanks. i need two 2x t shirts.
Lift with the spine!! Only way to lift those bottles - give 'em a big cuddle!
nice work mate
Now you can carry on with the "mongrel" again! Looking forward to the next gripping episode! 😉😉
That was ultra cool off them to give you that machine, and way cool cart
You got your saw back :)
great channel - thanks for all your work, noticed your evolution saw is back - did evolution honour the warranty all OK?
Nice job buddy another top display 👍
nice work sir - I cant afford a plasma cutter but I do like the welding masks on the inversion fusion website so I will be purchasing one of those for my wife to give me for xmas :) - keep up the good work
Cheers.
Less is More. Nice build

watch how he lifts the gas bottle.. you think he cares about bending down to pick up scrap?
Rick James - so let’s add a gas bottle trolley to Laz Arus’s list. I’ll add a snap of the trolley I made for myself many moons ago...
Looks great very talented I have only silly little wheels on mine with a big Argo shield bottle it’s not very safe
Nice job Matt, looks great mate. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
That is brilliant.
Nice little video bud
I have the same evosaw . I noticed the 45 angle beeing of too. I made a arrow of tig welding wire. Now I have much better cuts. The dail on the clamp is pretty accurate but the line on the base is off. Hope this helps.
Good design.
🤔 I like the square measuring thing for the bottle 😁👍
Great Job. thanks for sharing
Love ya work Mate. Billy J …. OZ.
Love the simple approach and no japanesy.
Why make it 20 times better than necessary?
Because Urch, that's why!
Nice job looking good you could of been closer need some work doing on my bike frame great videos love the content
Wicked that pal
You should get the fireball tool squares they’re perfect for fabricators
Yeh I need some of those for sure.
Great video keep them coming!!!
had exactly the same issue with mine, dials crap up to 3 degrees off. The noise it makes is getting on my nerves too, proper loud.
I've got that trolley . It's a really good paper weight
Omg ‘LIFT WITH THE SPINE!’ Had me roaring! 😂😂😂
Nice , i need to make one. The one i bought from Harbor Freight is falling apart

Dont need one of these but I've really enjoyed your video 👍👍🚙🚙
No mad camber on those wheels, tut tut

Cheers Dave, much appreciated.
Still haven't built a welding cart! One day...
Barmy, he's good!
Nice tips included. Thanks for sharing. Nice looking cart too. : )
super bien fait bravo.
Nice video, thanks mate
Hermoso carrito para el equipo te felicito asi yo construire el mio gracias.
Nice job mate!
Genius!
Nice Build, Thanks.

Your tig/welding cart is nice and simple compared to the one I built. Still we live and learn but have different ideas and needs.
Love the videos keep them coming hope to see more also like the magnets that turn on and off is it possible to leave a link on where to get them thanks a lot keep them coming
I'l put a link in the description. Cheers
Nice Matt, Nice.
Baz.
Thank you. Very nice.
You could add expanded metal shelves that would let the dust fall out. Lol.
IMO that's a bit more than a simple welding trolley due to all the angles and such, however it does look awesome and makes me want to remake mine lol
awesome

Another great video! Out of interest, why did you swap between the two helmets? Thanks
My new lens for my esab turned up in the post. Cheers
Do you have plans that you can share please. Just ordered a new welder and this is the first project for it.
Great video. You should wear proper eye protection (face shield) when grinding though. Metal debris in the eye is not fun and is the number one welding injury.

You want to get yourself a waste oil burner built before it gets proper cold 👍
Proper cold. That sounds English AF, love it.
and a big ceiling fan to push the heat back down.
Casey Stoner lol 😁

Very nice. How do you get along with the Evolution cold saw? I'm thinking of getting one
NICE!
New to welding. I noticed you use the respirator off and on. When do you used a respirator?
Not bad, but why you did not paint the cart?
hi with out modifying the cart will it take a 50lt bott
What do I have to do to get one of your t-shirts with your logo on it
Hector Calderon
What do we want, Urch Merch, when do we want it, NOW
Лайк за чистку именно так и очищяю
What grit do you use for your sanding discs? Thanks
