Just won my first solo game!! Thanks to ur videos! Only had to kill one guy to steal their bounty. I'm a noob for those wondering and I have to say the suspense this game creates is terrifying.
Noob or newbie? there is a difference ^^ GG's anyway! I like doing some solo games myself sometimes but I play it a bit cowardly mostly because of the disadvantage. I get caught a lot anyway but I do get some high level hunters every now and then with a few bounty extract wins. Mostly play Sparks Sniper and Silent Nagant with Poison/Concertina trap setup. It's quite fun learning some of the maps nice positions etc. You get fucked by fog maps or night maps with low moonlight. But I sometimes try to make plays anyway. If nothing else for the event points. It's just important to not feel like you need to force anything. If the map locations work for you. Go for it. Else just take it as it comes and if they get the extract they do. Vulture is the best perc ever if you play solo and want to gain something more out of it. You can go to locations with lots of shots and fighting and just become rich or gather eventpoints like crazy almost risk free :D
You don't just "win" in Hunt, you SURVIVE! 😄 But I can only agree, I was suuuuuuper nervous about the suspense as well when I started playing Hunt actively, even though I watched tons of streams beforehand to try and learn the game. But playing is a WHOOOOOOLE different experience than just watching
I get how it feels to be called a cheater. I once heard someones breath audio after healing and shot randomly through the wall i heard it through and got a headshot. That got followed up with a friend request and being told I'd be reported directly to Crytek with video evidence. On one hand it feels like a compliment that you played well enough that someone thought that but it also sucks to have your own skill diminished and boiled down to cheating.
I had the exact same encounter in Quickplay. I heard the guy breath in to ADS on the other side of the wall so I tried to wall bang him. He immediately called me a cheater and started to run away. I cornered him and asked if he wanted to learn something or if he wanted to die. He was playing on surround sound, and had no idea how good the audio actually was in Hunt (: Nice fella.
Well I guess ppl kinda get annoyed because of how low the muzzle velocity is, but you can really get used to it - Im regularly doing warm ups with silenced vett FMJ and scoring headshots from pretty far away, I can only imagine how some of those mosin sniper guys felt :D I do have to say though, a headshot from like 100+ meters against a strafing target is always a mix of skill/luck/movement prediction.
The guy in the video has over 4k hours and around a 1kd if I remember right. He comments everywhere on east and west crying “your a cheater, I have 4k hours I would know” but yeah neenoh claps. I e only killed him twice out of over ten fights and he always gets me haha
I got called a cheater in voip not too long ago at healing waters. I shot maybe 4 times at the wall in 5 minutes in really predictable spots, of those 4 shots, I got two hit markers and they were calling me a cheater lol. One of the spots was right above the bounty and they ran and picked it up, super obvious. Some people just don't know how much you can predict and hear of them. If I was an actual cheater, wouldn't all 4 shots hit?

Hunt is only one game where ppl call me a cheater. Once i killed enemy through the wall after revive he had token so it was pretty easy to do . Howewer team inside Windy call me a cheater and says a few bad things in voip and stop peekin at all so i shoot all my bullets in this poor barn and decide to leave =) even than they didnt come out
This game is so addicting. I had a 40 min fight at port reeker with 4 bounty tokens and 12 people, each team ended up with a token and were not afraid to peak and play aggressive. Everyone kept rezzing eachother with the bounty so the fight went forever, there must've been 30+ deaths. Best moment of hunt for me
i legit just ran into the McCrisp guy and his partner died he chased me and my friend literally corner to corner across the map while getting hit by everything, and when we kill him near extraction he goes to my profile and leaves some shitter comments, 5500 hours and hes just a malder

I'm sure he sees these and draws some conclusions about how important the issue is. I don't know why he hasn't seen that all these encounters play out the same. Maybe he has encountered cheaters and then he encounters someone with real skill with battle sense, map knowledge and a Kool head will will 9/10. Especially if he plays angry. Yeah man, people really don't understand what players with 1000s of hours can actually do in this game. I have almost 3000 hrs and am almost prestige 60 and I still get lower lvl players calling me cheater because of the things I've learned how to do playing this game for so long

I am not a professional in any game by any means. However, there have been moments online when I'm able to pull off a move or a shot that I see vets use regularly where I know I'll never be able to pull it off again. Only a couple of times when that happened did I hear or read someone calling me a hacker/cheater. Sometimes people are just better. Sometimes people just likes to take time to learn to get better. Then sometimes you get people like that.

Yea I just finished a match where a guy was hating tf out of me and boy did he let me know it! Shit had me weak! Starts off with me going towards bounty with my teammate but two people already got to it and were banishing it. We rush in and I kill them both and then wait to get bounty. Once we pick bounty up, I notice 3 separate teams of 2 outside and the other bounty team is outside as well so we trap and wait. 5 minutes go by and one of the teams camping the doors of my building started talking mad shit, saying I need to come out and stop camping while he is camping and ganging up on us by recruiting the other teams to help him kill us, talking mad shit about how I suck, how I'm the problem with the game, saying I'll never be above two star and that I am a bounty rusher and camper. Me and my teammate were rolling on the floor laughing by this point because everything this man was saying was so far off that we couldn't help but laugh. I only responded with saying "Ha I'm 4 star with 1.45 KD and I rushed and killed the two actual bounty rushers". This is when I heard him yelling at the other teams to all rush us at once. The other bounty team runs in with another team while his punk ass hides outside. Both teams had fanning and almost got us but we stomped them out. I then type into world chat, "WHOS NEXT?" He heard their fanning and said it was us using fanning and that we are the worst players ever. This guy had me fucking dying at this point, tbh he should've rushed right then because we were laughing too hard to defend ourselves. At this point he is camping the extraction on the back side of our building so we run out the front door and go to the other exit, he really did not like this. Starts blasting at us but we extracted, afterwards I check his stats. 3 star with 0.88 KD! This is why I love Hunt Showdown! Nothing but good times!

Yeah man, people really don't understand what players with 1000s of hours can actually do in this game. I have almost 3000 hrs and am almost prestige 60 and I still get lower lvl players calling me cheater because of the things I've learned how to do playing this game for so long

I am not a professional in any game by any means. However, there have been moments online when I'm able to pull off a move or a shot that I see vets use regularly where I know I'll never be able to pull it off again. Only a couple of times when that happened did I hear or read someone calling me a hacker/cheater.
Sometimes people are just better. Sometimes people just likes to take time to learn to get better. Then sometimes you get people like that.

I've 1100 hours in hunt. I've encountered, *maybe* 2 cheaters in total. they really aren't that common at all.

Yea I just finished a match where a guy was hating tf out of me and boy did he let me know it! Shit had me weak! Starts off with me going towards bounty with my teammate but two people already got to it and were banishing it. We rush in and I kill them both and then wait to get bounty. Once we pick bounty up, I notice 3 separate teams of 2 outside and the other bounty team is outside as well so we trap and wait. 5 minutes go by and one of the teams camping the doors of my building started talking mad shit, saying I need to come out and stop camping while he is camping and ganging up on us by recruiting the other teams to help him kill us, talking mad shit about how I suck, how I'm the problem with the game, saying I'll never be above two star and that I am a bounty rusher and camper. Me and my teammate were rolling on the floor laughing by this point because everything this man was saying was so far off that we couldn't help but laugh. I only responded with saying "Ha I'm 4 star with 1.45 KD and I rushed and killed the two actual bounty rushers". This is when I heard him yelling at the other teams to all rush us at once. The other bounty team runs in with another team while his punk ass hides outside. Both teams had fanning and almost got us but we stomped them out. I then type into world chat, "WHOS NEXT?" He heard their fanning and said it was us using fanning and that we are the worst players ever. This guy had me fucking dying at this point, tbh he should've rushed right then because we were laughing too hard to defend ourselves. At this point he is camping the extraction on the back side of our building so we run out the front door and go to the other exit, he really did not like this. Starts blasting at us but we extracted, afterwards I check his stats. 3 star with 0.88 KD! This is why I love Hunt Showdown! Nothing but good times!
