This gona be screamer killer v2. Alot beginer players/guilds gona have problem with it, many players have probleme do 80k+ dmg on screamer kiler in top 150 guilds.
Yeah there was a big emphasis on ranged units for SilentK and Morty, and in mortys case actively punished a melee character. So screamerK took a Lot of people by surprise with how absolutely necessary it is to have a tank (or even 2) originally. And you couldn't just summon surround it to contain it because then it's crit got waaaaY TO POWERFUL, I'm part of a top 100 guild & a co-leader to boot. Skreamer was the hardest part for me....until royal dorn took my precious Chaddeus Noble away from me cry😢😢😢 lol

I don't like how much they increased the bosses health... First, it's disheartening to be stuck on a difficult boss for a long time and this will just exacerbate that. Second, I feel like they were trying to find a way to reign in the very top % of guilds, but it hurt those ranked like 50+. Legendary orbs are already a killer to get, hope the changes in the shop make up for it. At least we got Nandi here to help us strategize for the new boss! Good vid

Amazing video, really excited for how fun this new boss is gonna be, i really like the dependance of crits not only because it boosts my favorite character (Aethana) but because its a breath of fresh air from previous bosses who are even made to stall you for having many summons and attacks.

Hey 👋 Tact noob here. Super informative video!! I'm still leveling so kinda take what I can get character selection. I just got Jain Zar and she killed it... also having very good luck with Haarken. He seems to get behind the tank consistently and his 80% piercing is awesome for the raid. Thanks for all your videos!
I have to admit, when I read the news post ingame I assumed it would be the primarch Rogal Dorn and that the tank was a teaser for one of his summons. '^^ I suppose the tank is much more fitting for the Guard as a guild boss.

As a newer gamer I am concerned that a lot of the top picks are legendary characters so it might take some trial and error to find an alternative team with lower base rarities. Thinking of a neurothrope team does seem interesting, makes me want to look into how the thousand sons characters work with neuro. Like I know that Abraxas-adjacent volk adds 2 stacks of the parasites but does that work with psykers? Does ahriman's active apply parasites once, or by hit(I do know that regular attack multi-hit psykers only apply 1 stack from your neuro clip)? Does yazaghor's active trigger 'gunners kill on sight' if swapping in/out of the area of fire? Does the additional psycher dmg from yazaghor's active stack the parasite? How about for the psyker he swapped with? I wish they had a playground where we could test these things... it's really difficult when mixing factions. Like the only real opportunities we get are the arena and maybe the LREs but those all use tokens as well and you can't really control the environment in a way we can test at will.
Playing since more than 6 months. Heros I can recommend: Belator, Volk, Angrax, Aethana, Archimatos & Godswyl. You get them at low rarity and they do nice work for the first months. Belator might be the best one on this list. He is just amazing.

I've found out that Makoteph really helps on that boss if you're a relatively new player. His 1 bonus mouvement is pretty good to help slower units position themselves and he has a 60% pierce ratio~
What about Darkstrider? Seems to be a viable option. And of course Deathleaper. Could do great as well. Maybe a bubble of infiltrators dragging attention, Maugn in midfield so he is not forced to move and Eldryon prepared at the back side.
The fsct that they have changed bonus crit to +50% saved my Maugan. With aethana he will have 105% even after moving. But I must say I dont like steonger bosses. We will have big proboems with primes on those. Eben un such an organised guild and cluster like Raven Guard from Eye of Terror is. Thst will be really hard
Wow, what a brick wall of a boss. I just started playing this game, joined a guild, and after cruising through the first 2 tiers in the first day, we've been stuck on the Rare version of this tank since. Absurd difficulty scaling compared to its surrounding bosses. Thanks for the guide, but sadly I don't think I'll be able to contribute more than a few thousand damage per fight for the foreseeable future. What a downer.

Great video. The L5 gibba tanks look like they're closer to LVL 50 damage stats as well instead of just increased HP. Is that going to be a feature for all primes where we see increased damage stats instead of just increased HP?
I think the scaling for primes is different to bosses. Towen did the math but I didn’t have time to include it for the video. It was already a hard 7-8h slog..!
The prime scale like bosses so just get more HP However the minions that appear with the primes now have a max scale to 99.7 at new L5 whereas currently only scale to 41 at old L4 Scale effects damage, armour and abilities
Thanks for the effort with the video. @realtowen I'm wondering though is the minions scaling intentional? It seems odd to me that SP would cap the other stats on the bosses but leave minions fully scaled. It's going to make for extremely spicy primes

If you put wolf next to the boss outside of that big aoe and 4-5 summons of yours trigger that overwatch mechanic is ulf going to use his passive against the boss for 5 times??😂😂😂

Yes the summoners will run out of the fire zone for kill on sight and cause your squad to die

37.5M HP of D3 raid boss vs 7.2M HP D3 per rotation... The guild shop rewards will severely decrease
So i guess we wont get much more guild credits anymore.
