The writers really had an amazing couple in Jason and Liz. They cared about each other, had so much chemistry and shared a real closeness. Why would they ruin it for no reason?! Why did it have to be Jason keeping Courtney safe? They could have had someone else do that? I have never seen these clips. Thanks so much for sharing.
Not a chance, because if Jason truly wanted to be with Liz, he would’ve made it work, he would’ve explained himself but he didn’t. So therefore that ship has sailed, It sunk when Liz couldn’t accept Jason for who he truly is, but most of all it rotted when Jason knew that he couldn’t trust her!! 😊
The writers are stupid. They had the nxt super couple in Jason and Liz. All they had to do was let Liz be understanding about Sonny's fake death and let Jason tell Liz as much as he tells Carly and Courtney. I hate it with a passion. They never just let both of them fully let go and love each other and be together.
I have yet to see a good match for Jason, everyone seems to want to change him to suit their purpose for some reason. Robin didn't want to change him, she just wanted him to be safe but everyone else had issues. Funny because he never asked them to change for him, he would just tell them what his life was about and cross his fingers that maybe they would truly love all of who he is and not just the easy parts.
They don't want him to change who he is. That's what they all fell in love with. They just want him to give up his dangerous lifestyle so they can all have a nice, cozy existence together. Not all that unreasonable when you think about it. Realistically, no normal woman wants to live that kind of life. What's unfortunate is that they end up falling for Jason, despite him not being able to turn away from the mob. It always seems worth the effort initially because who wouldn't want a man to love them the way Jason loves?
I understand what you're saying but his lifestyle is a big part of who he is and something he considers important and that is what he always tries to explain. I get they want cozy and easy but when he says it's going to be hard, he actually means it. Besides, isn't that what 'warts and all' means?
Michelle Heintzman I don't know if I'd say it's part of who he is as much as just the biggest part of his life. It didn't make him who he is. He turned to it because there is a darkness in him since the accident. It just suits the person he is now. Like Sonny. But you are kind of right because it's something that he needs and asking him to leave it would be like asking to leave behind an arm on the subway. Actually, wasn't Robin guilty of that too? Is she not the one who asked him to get out of the business? Correct me if I'm wrong, that was around the time I started watching again after a 3 year break, so I'm a little fuzzy.
No, you're right, Robin did it too and she broke up with him and took off to Paris in '97 but then she folded in '98 and tried again realizing she needed to accept all, no matter what as he did with her. They made a cute little family, he Robin and Michael in the penthouse and they were happy. He did give up the business for a bit when Moreno ended up killing a bodyguard and almost killing Robin in a car bomb. Unfortunately, the business pulled him back in not too long after that. She didn't want that life again but she knew what it meant to be with him and Carly was back by then so she didn't have much of a choice.
@@michelleheintzman9544 They always say you can't leave the mob but didn't Sonny leave for a while in the 90's? Granted the actor left cause he was going through some things and it was such a long time ago I don't remember exactly what they wrote for Sonny to get him to leave the mob at that time.
I miss these places on GH, the park, vista point, the original docks, jakes, even Kelly’s disappeared for a bit.
