And I agree that the actor, Sergey Goroshko, did an amazing job, as he really kind of played two roles. Also I liked the actor who played Oleg, to my mind he did an awesome job too P.S. To me it seem funny that Sergey is both the name of an actor and a character

It's about Igor Grom's childhood in chaotic post-Soviet St. Petersburg, being raised by his police detective father. The main story revolves around a criminal with supernatural powers, who styles himself after Anubis.
A lot of flames were real. They had real hand flamethrowers. There is a video on youtube about creation of plague doctor costume on the bubble comics channel

You should also check a short film (about 30 minutes) about Major Grom (2017), it is free on youtube and it is kind of prequel or more like an introduction to the character, not actually related to the main story but there are some great fight scenes as well so i definitely recommend to watch it too!

Понравилось видео. Вообще есть комикс вселенная bubble и Гром это одна из серий. Вообще у них относительно не давно появилась серия про Чумного Доктора, так что сам Разумовский не совсем злодей скорее антигерой, просто на момент событий фильма на него влияет бог Воронов так как он один из его аватаров, а к моменту своей серии влияние пропало и тот стал больше героем, но сама серия не про него, а про его преемницу, он в серии фигурирует но больше как учитель. Сам же Гром научится пара магических трюков, один из которых это умение влазить в чужую голову и забирать их боль. Но советую посмотреть приквел к фильму

Но вот каком контексте это все преподнесено и именно сейчас делает этот фильм не просто днищем, а когда вы подумали что ниже уже падать некуда. И в этот момент со дна постучали.
Если вы говорите о ситуации в стране, то все просто: фильм снимался очень долго, и на него потратили страшные по меркам студии деньги. У них просто не было варианта выпустить его в другое время. Когда? К выборам, когда ситуация будет только хуже? Тем более что сделано оно по комиксам, в альтернативном мире, где они не могли сделать Разумовского хорошим. Ну и справедливости ради - полиция помимо грома тут показана ленивой и безразличной, либо просто непрофессиональной.
