Same here Kim. My Pastor spoke on God's "good purpose" (Phil.2:13). I've been looking, praying about this "good purpose" and here's where HE led me. Now I know its that "customized life's purpose" HE has for me! 🙌🏽

As a child of God, we already know what our calling is, but we either run from it or ignore it out of fear. I must confess this was the case for me. I had a fear of speaking before a crowd of people because sometimes I stumbled over my words or studder when I get nervous. I had to ask God to help me overcome that fear because I knew that my calling was bigger than my fears. Thank you Jesus for 👐🏽

I discovered my calling of teaching the word of God to others and being a good listener. I felt so much joy, and all I could think about and had a desire to do was become better at my calling by seeking God for help, guidance and direction. Ask him to the same for you. He will!🙏🏾
@@specialk7903 Some people have so many things that they do well until it can be quite confusing on what God wants them to be more focused on ....or HIS specifics for them. That's been me for quite some time. So, it all boils down to simply seeking God....and waiting for His CLEAR direction of why you're here. But, If you seek Him, you will find Him. I am in the process now.
I have so many different things I would do without pay, it's not that easy to know your calling. But that's an opinion that could be wrong because I'm not yet there. I'll keep searching relentlessly though and I will find it.

Whatever it is, it is sacred. Thank God you're here. His plans for you are for good. Greater is He that's in you, than he who's against you.
I've read in the Bible that the greatest gift is that of a servant; that is my gift!
Can you not have more than one gift? And...do you have to love your gift? I'm going to ask Pastor Evans because I think he is soooo smart (for lack of better adjectives) he will know!

Thank you for this sermon Dr. Evans. I've been taking care of my 99 years young Mom for 15 years and 11 of those years she's been suffering with Dementia. I often struggle with knowing God's calling on my life so this message confirms that my taking care of my Mom is His calling on my life at this time. 🙏🏿❤

I keep asking God if this life is really what He wants me to do - and the message I keep getting is to keep on going for now. I am doing my best to live in obedience to Him and follow His commands. I feel like I’m
still in the wilderness and waiting for my promised land. I’m finally starting to learn what patience and faith really mean.
God will let you know what he has called you to do, in his time. Some people get so focused on one particular thing. Your calling may change accordingly to God's plan and purpose for your life. There is a season for everything. God prepares us, before he uses us to Glorify him. These are ONLY my thoughts!

Wow! This message was so powerful in so many ways! I love how you illustrated just like no one else has our DNA, neither do they have our purpose!.... I've never heard the Lord's Prayer broken down and pulled apart the way that you did. You are definitely living your purpose!

@@mwalamarama8064 I have been praying at the Mississippi head waters with some intercessors here. This year I had the urge to go out to a park in town for worship 🙌. While I delayed due to ignorance on how to go about it, a family from N. Carolina started a worship at the same park. It was so exciting to know that this was actually the Holy Spirit speaking to me about Worshiping out at this park. I approached them and learned how they got approval to do such. Well, I and a few girls started a 2 hours worship and flow of the Holy Spirit every week at one of the intercessors house and it's been nothing less than awesome 👌 🙏🙏🙏
I can't count all the doors and ministerial opportunities God has brought me to. I am still daily depending on Him for divine direction in the perfect path He has prepared for me 🧎♀️🧎♀️🧎♀️🧎♀️🧎♀️🧎♀️🙇♀️

Praise Jesus! Re listening to this again in August 2019. My calling involves something outside larger than me because it is expanding GOD's kingdom. God is always seen through it. I can not accomplish it by myself, on my own nor in my own efforts. I need GOD to do it. I'm apart of something bigger.

I really thought I knew my calling but now since I was saved in May 2021 I don’t think creating gardens is my true calling. I really want to serve the Lord but it has to be what He wants me to do. I keep asking in my prayers for guidance and direction. I hope He answers me soon because I’m really weary of feeling so lost and hopeless. Even though I know I’m saved and will be going to heaven.
Maybe u could try including God more in verbal interactions w customers and such. Like how He wonderfully made certain plants and flowers in different aspects. Help people to see a brighter day through u and plant the seeds of Christ in your daily calling w your lifes calling. U never know when u are going to cross that certain persons path that needs to hear what u have to say 🙏
We are not all called to be preachers but we are all called to witness within our given calling. Working with plants and nature sounds like such a wonderful thing but only if it’s what “lights you up”. People think a calling once they’re saved means they have to preach in church or be a missionary. You will never witness to someone who doesn’t go to church. Whatever you do do it to the Glory of God.
@@tarahesler6046 That’s what I keep praying for - for the right opportunity to arise where I can talk about God and Christ. I am always honest with people and do very good work and people know that I am a trustworthy person and a hard worker so at least they can see Christ through me that way.
@@candyc.3163 I do always keep that in mind that I am representing the Lord in every interaction and job that I’m working on. So that at least maybe people can see God through the work I do. I still really do enjoy working with plants and rocks and dirt and the other things that the Lord has created. I always pray for an opportunity to share the Gospel with someone.
