I loved that. I particularly liked the footage of the Stonechat having a good scratch. At times it looked like it was grinning and enjoying the scratch. I shall put your theory about the Stonechats and Dartford warblers to the test when it stops raining and I can get access to Staines Moor. They have loads of Stonechats there and a leucistic female is causing quite a bit of excitement among local birders. There are apparently Dartford Warblers there but I have never seen them. I shall look below the Stonechats when I am next there to see if a Dartford Warbler is lurking in the bush.
Glad you enjoyed the video ...all i need to do now is prove my theory right by filming them but it has proved hard work so far as im just not quick enough with the camera and they are soo small @ 2000mm FF equivelant but it is good fun trying and keeping me amused ...only ever seen a leucistic Jackdaw many yrs ago
@@digger360 I have a photograph taken in the Rambla de los Moreras at Bolnuevo you maybe interested in as it would appear to confirm your theory. I took it in September
Brilliant! I finally have my nikon p950. So far a nice pic of the moon, but the weather here in northern france has been crap but we're off to portugal for christmas so a decent chance at some nice birds, Ill let you know how I get on and thanks for the inspiration, all the best, Mick.
Thank you i'm glad you enjoyed the video and i would imagine in Portugal at Xmas you will see the same sort of birds as in this video ...and this camera is good at what it does
