  • This is the Samsung Galaxy S21 vs Galaxy S10 Camera comparison that you guys have been asking for! Choose between 'L' or 'R' for which one you think is better and I will reveal later which one was which in this description or pinned comment. Let the blind test camera comparison for Galaxy S21 vs Galaxy S10 begin!
    Camera I use to make awesome videos and you should check out: amzn.to/3ndcR1a
    So the camera on the right side is both the Samsung Galaxy S21 on day and night times and the one to the left was the older Galaxy S10. It's amazing how many of you guys liked the Galaxy S10 daytime pictures but the Galaxy S21 shows its prowess in the night! Congrats to those who got it right!

    Great video! Not sure why it got so many dislikes haha. Did not expect S10 to be so superior in daytime shots, wow. But the difference in nightime is unreal.

    S21 (right) is significantly better in night shots. They have less noises and better dynamic range (more details in both dark and bright areas in S21 night scenes). The computer processor in S21 seem to handle the most challenging scenes well without resorting to heavy compression. Since the difference is seen mainly in night scene and the optical lenses are similar, the difference is definitely contributed by the advance of the processor and its software.

    It goes to show that the "improvements" are lacking when they sacrifice the aperture. I have an S8+ with a 1.7 aperture. So I 'm back to square one. Any suggestions besides S10. Or is that as good as it gets until they make an S22 with a bigger aperture?

  • @zeed5764

    For Day Photos, the left was mostly better? That must be the S21?
    Out of curiosity, would the Note 10 pics be the same as the S10/S10+?

    • @IBKade
      @IBKade  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Yes it seems people are choosing left for day pictures. There is a reason for that and I'll explain in a pinned comment in the future. As for note 10, Yes very similar in daytime. Anecdotally the note 10 pics would be slightly better for night photos.

  • @acedhj
    @acedhj 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Overall, I preferred right over left. The day photos were pretty similar, but the right brightened things up a bit better in low light photos. I wouldn't be mad if I had the left though.

    • @IBKade
      @IBKade  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha both are good quality for sure. And yes the one on the right seems to be the popular choice for night photos!

  • @bertlzansinger
    @bertlzansinger 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Nice comparison.
    As suggestion for improvement, you may consider to mix pictures left / right. Even if I do not make a guess which one is which, it seems to be ovious, that for day and night shots every left side picture is from the one and right side picture ist from the other phone. It would be more challenging to have the pictures mixed.
    Furthermore the picture change frequency was a bit to fast for me and I was a bit stresssed by the play / pause game over minutes.
    Looking forward to the reveal..

    • @IBKade
      @IBKade  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your feedback! I think for the next ones I will definitely do that. And yes as for the frequency I was trying to match it to the beat of the music too which made it a bit faster for next time I'll make it longer.
      Look forward to your comments in my future video!

    Why are you waiting to reveal which camera was which? Don't people watch these to determine which one to buy based on which photos they like better from the phone? Most people won't wait to return to this video multiple weeks after watching it just to see but that's just my opinion. I would say that during the day pics the s21 is on the left and then it is switched to the right for the night pics.

    • @IBKade
      @IBKade  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did it more if a blind test and to see what people thought which one was in the comments. In other words it was a reverse review for my own experiment to see what people thought was better for my analysis. For example you believe that it was the s21 on the left for daytime and right side is s21 for night. That's what most people have chosen and that's a neat thing because the answer might surprise them when it is revealed. As for them not coming back, oh well lol. I can't do much about that but I think a few might one day. And yes most reviews show the answer right away which to me I think makes things easy and biased. Most people think the new camera is gonna show the better picture especially if it's 2 gens apart. That's what I am noticing. Hope that explains it!

  • @HellenicBM

    Prefer day photos of S10 better contrast and colours. At night shots obviously S21 won, but how many times do l need night videos or pics. l have a S10, microSD card + headphone jack also 3040x1440 vs 2400x1080. So lm sticking with S10 for another year or two.

    I could tell from the first photo that the left phone was better, the lighting in the sky is less washed out on the S21. As for the other photos, the S21 seems to balance light better and capture more detail, definitely an improvement over the S10.
