Empathy is essential if you want the audience to care about your characters. Great information :)

It's a good idea to reflect on the difference between 'empathy' and 'sympathy', because they are similar concepts but with important differences between them.

This videos are so much help! I had been writing a script for a while now and everytime I finished writing, I showed it to people for feedback; I always got the same complain: "The main character isn't relateble.". However after watching your video I applied this to my main character. It finally worked! This videos are so inspiring!

Geez. George Bailey wasn't a "bad guy." He was a guy that came to believe he had no value in life (beyond his life insurance). He was shown that his existence made the town of Bedford Falls a better place, and he realized that fact was far more important than money. He now had something no one could take from him. Maybe Vince Gilligan should stop evaluating characters and find an island somewhere.

This video is really clear and helpful. But please! It's pronounced "We" with a "W" and not "Re" with an "R"!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was driven crazy by this.
