That AO'2013 match really turned his career around. Amazing stuff to witness the unexpected birth of an incredible champion at that moment.

OMG HIS ONE-HANDED BACKHAND IS JUST FANTASTIC!
Kind of neat to hear the commentators' amazement at the virtuosity of Wawrinka's backhand. Probably will never see another one handed backhand with a combination of so much power, versatility, and the ability to change the direction of the ball.
+Thang Vuong Dominic Thiem has a backhand very similar to Wawrinka's. He is 22 - quite young by nowadays standards. Hope he is a future №1.

STAN has BY FAR the most BEAUTIFUL 1HBH from the entire history of tennis. Much more beautiful than Roger (although I am a huge RF fan). A typical RF fan would support Stan, but also Dimitrov, Tommy Haas, DelPo. But Stan the Man, so beautiful to watch his tennis, it's magic, it is for us like Christmas for little kids, when Santa comes with his bag full of toys ... I am a true believer that Stan can reach his true potential in 2014 and 2015, and win at least 2 Grand Slams.

that first point is out of this world, stan is really talented, his backhand is ridiculous, he must reach the top 5. first roger then this guy, switzerland you're doin' it right!
I really hope Stan can win another Slam this year, he definitely has the skill and stamina to do it. He just needs to get a big win against a big player like he did with Djokovic last year, and that will give him the confidence he needs to win another title. Keep it up Stan!

Ever since the 4th round AO match, my respect has gone up so much for Wawrinka. Djokovic was not challenged even close to this much during the rest of the tournament.. it was evident how intensified he was throughout the match. If only this was a final, then Stan would have gotten the respect he deserved!

Nirky too bad he can't keep up his regularity in the masters and lower tournaments, seems like he's always 100% focused throughout the slams though.

My favourite shot of Stan's is where he hits the ball and it lands in and the other player can't get it back. Love that shot the most. Wish he did it more often. I reckon if he did that shot a lot he would win. That's what I reckon.

Les deux plus beaux matchs de l'année étaient Wawrinka-Djokovic.
Dommage que le vainqueur est toujours le même...car ce sont les 2 joueurs qui rendent ces matchs légendaires: L'attaque de Wawrinka et la défense de Djoko.
En tout cas Wawrinka m'a le plus marqué cette année et je lui souhaite le meilleur pour le future ;)
