I am very interested in that fact you used a micro controller & stepper motor. Have you published your plans anywhere?
No plans..i have built several that i have sold..
It looks like the driving shaft is coming from the bottom. Does the mechanism use bevel gears? Can you take a few pictures of it for those of us at the other side of the world? ;)
Just a O ring drive wheel..small spring on horizontal shaft keeps pressure on disks and drive wheel..
