Holy shit...I knew Ongbal fought this boss many times with different challenges, but this takes the cake. I didn't even know that the boss could pull out of the moves he used in this video like that. Had I not beaten this game already and seen how this fight goes, I would've been so lost. Great mastery of game mechanics and strategy, Ongbal. None of this is easy to pull off, and if any of us are crazy enough to try this, it's gonna be quite the challenge.
@@tobeornottobe5611 I believe it's not really "new" moves in the way your thinking. I'm pretty sure a lot of the bosses were tuned down pre-release and this is there way of releasing the very challenging boss fights without making it harder for newer players

@@Drewskii59 ohhhh I gotta try that. When we first got the chu bai spear I was going in because I liked the combination of the animation, timing, and sound better than the staffs. I was a lot better in combat. Might have to go back, especially with Erlangs spear
The combat is so much smoother now, as is seeing through attacks. That behind the back twirl that’s the third part of light attack combo no longer throws off the timing for me
@ Agree. And the new Qing Mallet staff makes fight even more great if playing more in close combat. Also the ability to fight any guai so many times you want is so satisfying.

This is art. Many people go through this game by cheesing Plantain fan and pluck of many. But unless you understand see through and deliberately try to incorporate in your fights, you cannot truly appreciate and enjoy this game. This what I feel.

its broken on spears you can use see through at any time during the light attack combos, with staffs you can only do it at the end of a swing
