Many were happy I can tell you that. :D Made my way to Inazuma at rank 20 last Sept / October. Kinda want to do it again seeing the underwater area has changed and hopefully getting to Sumeru at low rank also requires glitching.

We’re eventually gonna defeat Celestia, and the developers are also gods of this world so I can see the overlap in our mission
I was very disappointed they straight skipped the storm when (legitimately) travelling to Inazuma. I was expecting we dart around on deck with the crew doing all sorts of nautical jargon while the ship be dodging various lighting strikes and we manned cannons to take out krakens stern, port, aft and starbord, sort of like the flying sequence with Dvalin. Or jumping off the crow's nest and bomb oceanic enemies a la the Raptor quest dungeon. Come on, MiHoyo, I need this!
Yea missed opportunity. I was also disappointed that the boats we can drive are really small. I expected ships that multiple players could walk around on.

for mining amethyst with a sword character try doing plunging attacks, they are way more effective at breaking ore then charged attacks!

I want to make my own game one day and putting some stuff under the maps would be fun if someone would ever try going there , unfortunately I'm too busy with studying exams and jobs to work on game development and I don't think I'd achieve much myself either way I definitely would need a team to help me make said game iv planned , so won't be happening anytime soon big sad

This is awesome! That lightning montage is how I imagine canon Aether would be like. Jumping from world to world defying the gods. It felt at any moment the unknown god would pop up due to his insolence.
Moment when Traveler run through raging thunder storm in empty “desert” actually looks pretty damn epic. It so good it could be in a main game as one scripted story moment somewhere

Perhaps the landmass is a way for the devs to test out Sumeru before it releases to experiment on weather and sand since it's most likely mostly desert
I think they intend to add the land mass as bookmark for new area. This game world designer devs had done this since launch like weird sweet and mint flower position at each of the edge of Stormterror lair as bookmark for future explorable location.
This was so intense and captivating I'm more invested in this than the actual lore. A true representation of the gruesome journey of traveller-san
Theory : when the GAA was available on 1.6 I traveled under the map and it was similar to the big land of sand that appear and was not there. So maybe there is something related to that since the GAA are coming back on 2.8
This would line up with certain things I’ve heard so thats very possible

I'm pretty sure there's a new area Dream island or something that will be added in 2.8... I guess that's why the update size is unusually huge?? 7 GBs...

@@glistica the update size was all due to the fact we had to download all voice overs from the beginning of the game all over again. not the islands or 2.8
by beginning of the game, i mean everything from 1.0 to now, even events long gone. we will have an option to delete these files in 2.8, i believe

yes, the old one was ar 16, but he broke the record and now its 7, and i dont think lower is possible, but who knows, someone might just do it

I got so obsessed with this idea that I actually tried it myself on my alt, no quest, ar21 account-
I spent the night trying to find the location of where we're supposed to cross and I found it in the IMMENSITY of the underwater world, pulled out some hair... And managed to reach the new landmass in a few tries only to fail miserably to the storm.
It's so very hard, I'm really astonished with your dedication, I decided I'd keep that challenge for later as I am clearly not skilled enough at the moment-

Ha, noted! I do recall trying to push the Maguu Kenki into the water in Golden Apple Archipelago. Got the guy up to his shoulders in water, but couldn't get that final push...

Your content is so underappreciated, this is the most interesting stuff I've ever seen come out of the community and it's not even close
Just wanna say, if you had a second character to use, you can actually run on the teleport plane if you die of fall damage on a character, and your other character takes their place *on* the teleport plane. As long as you don't jump or use an ability to get off the ground, you can run as long as you want on the ground. Saves a lot of time until you reach the lightning part.

Edit : manage to get to the clope, I just ran over the thing which has differents colors bands as textures

i've always loved breaking games and finding glitches, and being able to find so many ways to break a game as undocumented and restrictive as this is incredibly impressive
I think that land mass is part of sumeru since it was likely added with the chasm
The land mass is not where the Chasm or Sumeru is :/
There's no way they added the land mass in middle of the sea just for Sumeru.
There have actually been leaks about the GAA returning in 2.8 and one of the other comments I read said that they found a similar landmass under the previous GAA, so it's most likely that

The real challenge: Break into Inazuma first, then break into Liyue. It was possible in 2.1, it may never be possible again, due to the 2.3 update.
I just love how you push this game to it's absolute limits. You deserve all the praise in the world as the best genshin impact content creator: you are always original and always put incredible amounts of patience and dedication in every single video.

Something I've found myself: if you die of fall damage on the bottom floor and switch to another character because of that, you can walk around with that other character. It seems to randomly tp you back every few minutes walking around, but it's possible to run the whole way across.

@@plmdea if you complete a trial domain, all the enviroments flags will reset, including the barrier fog, the frost from Dragonspine, etc

I just finished Breaking Bad not too long ago, and I'm incredibly happy to have a new show to binge like crazy! Can't wait for Traveler-San's next adventure!
Interestingly enough I tried the same thing.
Tried getting into Inazuma on a second account and I succeeded. Used a combination of lag switches (turning your internet off for 10 seconds and running to avoid the fog teleport, then switching it back on again, important to be in a menu when switching the internet on and off) and death teleport protection (if you have two characters, then when you stand above that huge stretch of land that teleports you, then you make one character fall to their death, this'll switch you to your second character and you can walk freely to the fog part). I did also not go all the way to the right of the map, but I stopped like 3/4ths the way their (Even in 2.0 there should've been a straight path going all the way across the trench, because I saw videos of people crossing it).

on another account, I used xiao, a glitch that launches you into the sky, and stamina-related food all to get to inazuma without the archon quest.
and after landing in ritou, I realized you aren’t trapped in ritou if you haven’t done the archon quest.
so, I believe you’re safe to activate the narukami island statue. but still, it’s your account and your decisions, so you don’t have to.
also, I already look forward to more of this series, your patience levels are insane and this is really entertaining. you earned yourself a subscriber :D

If you're really struggling with the ores, plunging attacks break them pretty fast compared to just normal attacks

A real tip to those that doesn't have claymore in their team:
You can use elemental reactions like overload and cryo crystallized to break ores fast.
Burn grass > electro = overload blast.
Apply cryo > geo skill = increased hit dmg
Just use razor. End of story. Or our fav knight Noelle

Interesting video! I am new to your channel, and have watched some of your other videos such as sneaking into shrine of depths. But I have a question: How did you get underwater on the trench in the first place? And how did you go underground? It’s been puzzling me.
Bro all I have to say is I love your determination and all of your thought process and planning making this video and making to inazuma even tho there was so much things crossing your path and giving your so much rage but you over came that and just came back even better than before you and showed that the odds became in your favor.

You can just sacrifice one character so you can run on the teleport surface.
And you just need to turn off your internet so you can run straight through the storm.
When you run through the storm, you just U-turn and the system will regard you are going out from Inazuma, and it will just directly teleport you to Inazuma.

Yo, i ve tried, but i get teleported by barried even before i can get to that giant wall, from any angle. Whats the problem?
@@dwumrohl69 you may need to turn off your internet before you reach the striped ground. then every 10 to 15 sec, open paimon menu reconnect the internet for about 5 sec then disconnect again, until it stop raining.
@@azusatsang4710 if i release w on the ground before reaching the wall, it will teleport me back. And its actually about 3 secs for me before the loading indicator in the middle of the screen appears and ruins everything
@@dwumrohl69 yes, you cannot stop at any flat surface. when you open the paimon menu, make sure you are standing on the slope.
I done it as well, and it was hard & stressful to get through but? I made it. It kinda was showing the Inazuma loading screen, & when I was struck by the fog flag to automatically teleport me, it teleported me to Ritou (Teleport Waypoint) near the shore.

This is such a high effort series. It would have been helpful for me to connect the pop up wheel with using ayaka's trial if you showed the transition a few times but other than that this was a treat to watcj
Did this few months back, took me days for my first dummy account and hours on my 3rd account. This really made me enjoy Genshin for once. As an AR 57 player, I did this on my phone btw.
Edit: After watching the video, I remember the pain of being teleported back over and over again. But it was all worth it when you arrive in Inazuma without playing the Archon Quest.
Your phone must be strong enough to handle the lightning's glow.
I can imagine it turning into a portable heater when the lightning was striking all over.

I'm kinda curious how they're gonna lock down Sumeru for new players. Is it just gonna be Paimon or is the Chasm enterance going to be the only usable gate to Sumeru. It could even be open to explore early like Liyue but I doubt it.

2:01 That is most likely a part of Sumeru, or rather its basic terrain. Allow me to explain. Game developers always add new stuff to files prior to the actual release because one - they don't want to spend time later a week before release implementing it into the game and two - they need to test stuff and see how it performs in game. When you put a large landmass in a game such as genshin the only place where you can hide it so no ordinary player would see it is under the ocean. And also we know that Sumeru is mostly rainforest and deserts and this landmass varies from green colour to yellow sandy colour, in terms of how games work that would indicate some kind of green plantlife and sand
