I have read and heard this good doctor's sermons since I was 22, at my conversion; 1966. I am 80 years now and pray I will see my great savior soon. I DO believe, trust in Jesus Christ, it only I ponder the process, the unknown experience of leaving our life here. R. C. Sproul said that statement too some years ago. Even at the ending of 58 years of knowing our/my God, still we fallen sinners (me anyway) are or may be shaky. Lord, help all & any of us? Lord, help us increase our faith. Amen.
Yes, I’ve often wondered why he does not talk about his own experience in his sermons. Perhaps he does not want to draw attention to himself as MLJ was a very humble man . I’ve read his biography by (Iain Murray)which makes vague references to his experiences.
