This is personally my favourite ship from Scarlet Heart and honestly, I just think that neither So nor Wook really treated Soo right, despite their love for her. Jung was such a gentleman the whole time: he respected her love for others, and never burdened her by confessing his feelings. He stepped aside for So to have his chance, but was always there for Soo when she needed him.

The biggest plot twist of kdrama land was when Hae Soo married Jung.. everybody was rooting for the main lead and the 2nd male lead yet she chose him in the end. She decided to give him her child to raise and protect. Even though she did not love him the way he wanted, he was the only one she trusted to protect her precious child and that's all that matters. Sometimes trust is much better than love.

Its just sad, that jung is the prince who let her lived like a normal person of goryeo, no wars, no hates, no politics around her. But, It seems like it was not enough to fulfill all the memories that haesoo and wang so created.

I rewatched few last episodes almost everyday just to see Jung-Soo interaction.
He holds her /so/ gently. More softly than anyone else. And its so heartwarming when you think he’s a warrior, rough and tough war general, but the way he holds her hand and hugs her is so, soo soft and delicate.
Never seen someone as sincere as jungah...he loved her with everything he had but wanted nothing in return but to be by her side

Although Baekhyun and Nam were also in this drama, Jisoo really stood out for me. His character was the only one that never got me angry while watching this show. He was sincere and selfless.
I always feel like Hae Soo could end up with any prince. There’s no one prince that destined for her. That’s why she had something for Wang Wook but also Wang So. If only the circumstances allow her to spend more time with Jung in sense that this circumstances make them struggle together they will probably end up together.

Hae soo was the most luckiest girl in that era. Most of the princes liked and loved her. Eun's first love, Wook's second love, Jeung's dream girl and Wang's forever love. We'd never anticipated that at the end of the story she chose to live with Jeung( adorable prince) but her heart belongs to Wang So.

Hae Soo and Jung could’ve had a happy ending. I remember that Jung loved Hae soo ever since but never really told her because she knew from the start she loves someone else, but it never stopped him. Eventually when they had the moment to be together it was a bad timing everything was so complicated but it never stopped him from showing her and making her feel that he loves her even if she would never know. And now that Hae soo died, he never even got to say how much he loved her. This gave me a reason that i wish jung and hae soo could’ve been a great couple 😭 i cried so much back then
Even thought everyone else says this is a disappointing ending, I feel like jung is the one that cared for haesoo the most throughout and jung deserves to be with haesoo

This drama completely broke my heart!😭 I desperately wanted Wang So and Have Soo to end up together because they had so much chemistry. But Jung was the only one who truly deserved her, and I love how he cared for her and treated her with respect and love, even though she didn't love him back and was carrying his brother's child.

I just finish watching this drama, and i really love the way he love soo, he protect her until the end and he raised soo daughter like his own. I just found that his love is really pure with soo.
As much as I love the chemistry between Wang So and Hae Soo, Jung is the only prince who truly deserved her. He loved with a truly selfless love, even when he knew she loved So, and he didn't force anything on her. He just waited with the patience of an angel for her to come to him. He was so tender and sweet with her, especially during her last days.😭 Jung is boyfriend/husband goals.

I could tell from the beginning that Jung loved Soo from all the little things he'd do for her or the way he looked at her. But she was too caught up with Wang Wook and Wang So to even realize. He was the better man for her in the end. 💔

I originally rooted for the two male leads but as the show progressed, I rooted for Prince Jung the hardest. His love was pure, sincere and unconditional. He never asked for anything in return. He just wanted Soo to be happy and free 😔

Out of her three love interests, he's the only one who deserved her, and sadly the only one she never loved back, at least not in the same way. Wook was a huge disappointment and turned his back on her when she needed him the most. So was abusive and toxic since the beginning, he was only ever nice and sweet when things were going his way, but the second he didn't get what he wanted he ALWAYS became aggressive and it's really annoying to me how he turned out to be her "endgame", although they didn't actually stay together, because she died still in love with So when he simply didn't deserve anything at all from her. Jung always respected her and took great care of her, he got the permission to marry her with the intention to protect her if he ever needed to, but he never ever forced her to do anything she didn't want to. He always did his best to make sure she felt safe, comfortable and loved, and even though he knew damn well she would never reciprocate his feelings, he was still there by her side until the very end, unlike the other two. I just watched this drama for the first time this week and honestly I cried like a baby when she died in his arms. Honestly the most disappointing thing about this whole show was seeing how they kept pushing So's sick obsession with Hae Soo as "true love" when Jung was the only one who ever tried and showed her what real love is supposed to look and feel like.

Dang it hurtss,i cried at this scene i cursed at wang soo to how stupid he was , can he just come and hug her for the last time? Can he just said that "i love you" before she died,it really hurts when i know she died without even having a chance to meet wang soo, he didnt even say good bye to her :" how could you expect me not to cry? I came here for Ji soo ...got to know that IU and Baekhyun were also there. Well this time I fell for the main lead instead of the 2nd and other leads. Felt like his eyes and the face had so much to tell...a whole story was hiding behind those eyes. And Ji soo...for the first time I'm seeing him finally getting his love. Even though she didn't love her but I was happy for Ji soo that atleast he got the chance to live with her. I'm in love with ji soo's voice too it feels like I can listen to him all the time.

This drama shows us how a person for his ambition lose the person he loved the most. Iam not telling their love was not strong enough but they didn't trusted each other. If they understood each other than they are lived a happy life. But still it is really hurting😭
