I think that English football culture uses a lot provocation. We see that in many chants, in every stadium. So it quite makes me laugh when I see English people beeing shocked because there's TWO guys mocking munich tragedy at the end of the video. Take a breath, it's just two guys and you do that kind of provocation each time you meet an English "enemy". On my side, as Saint-Etienne fans, I was at Old Trafford on MU fans side with my twin brother, we had very good moment in this town, we found Manchester people were very gentle and helpfull in the streets. Some days we were also wearing our Saint-Etienne green scarfs and had no problem. We were hundreds walking with green scarfs, in small groups, in Manchester streets and there were no troubles either. The town is good looking (a real surprise for me), and visiting the industrial museum, we saw that our mutual history is quite near. As Manchester, Saint-Etienne is known to be an ancient industrial city, with minors and metal industry. I think that all industrial cities in the world can be recognized on one point : kindness and simplicity of people living there. We found that spirit in Manchester as everyone can find it when coming to Saint-Etienne. Saint-Etienne is quite unknown in France, except for its industrial past, its football club, and its fans which are known there to be probably the best fans in France, far away beyond others (even in second league we were loud). We are not the beautiful and highly cultural Paris, we are not the "near the sea" southern Marseille, we are not even Nantes, Toulouse or Lyon, which are all beautiful and nice to visit, we are a small town, with broken charcoal and metal industry, known for its passionnate and loudly AS Saint-Etienne football fans. Our industrial past and our football club are our deep identity.

Not a fans of either team, but you can't hate St Etienne for putting in a quality atmosphere both away and at home.
English football lack the support and singing from the stands that the majority of european teams do have.
Also St Etienne lost some respect from me by mocking a tragedy at the end. They could have walked away from the stands proudly with a great atmosphere and knowing they were superior in creating a great atmosphere.
It will be interesting seeing how far the English teams will get after Tottenham and Arsenal(most likely) gone from the tournaments with only Man city and Man utd still in the competition.

Ce quartier où vivote un petit club sans âme, avec un stade qui ressemble au chapiteau de cirque d'Arlette Gruss dans lequel règne une atmosphère digne d'un court de tennis... A Geoffroy Guichard, ils ont vu et entendu une des meilleurs ambiance d'Europe, une vraie ambiance de foot. A Old trafford, les 3000 supp. Steph faisaient plus de bruit que les 80 000 British, ils faudra faire des efforts chers amis Mancuniens pour arriver aux chevilles des supp. Stph. MDR !!
