Baroque and "monster" pearls are my favorite because of their fantastical shapes. I love how some jewelry artisans create such amazing one of a kind pieces with them.

I have adored pearls since I was a child. Every necklace I make has at least two pearls on them. Thank you so much for elevating these gemstones beyond the old lady clutching at her strands aghast :D

My favorite pearl shape is the pear. I have ordered many fine cultured strands of pear-shaped pearls from Fire Mountain Gems and Beads. Right now they have a sale of top drilled pear shaped pearls for $2.48 USD per strand. My second favorite shape is the semi-round pearl. Tfs your video with us.

Years ago I got my wife a baroque Tahitian pearl necklace. A single large pearl was surprisingly affordable but a matched pair for earrings years later was quite expensive.

I like all shapes of pearls; however I am particularly in love with the natural baroque shapes. Imperfectly perfect they are for me.

I didn't really like pearls until getting my hands on a natural river pearl from Tennessee. It was dark grey and reminded me of a lightning bolt. Glad I can appreciate my birthstone instead of feeling left out of the stone club.

As a gem lover and also a One Piece fan. I gotta say that Baroque Pearls are my favorite! But honestly I do like the strange shapes that they take.

I have always been partial to the baroque pearls because to me they're perfectly imperfect and stunning. However all perarls are stunning in there own way. If I were ever blessed enough to find a monster pearl I would be over the moon excited.

This is unrelated to pearls, but would you do a video sometime about hydrothermal quartz, vs. hydro quartz? I''ve seen these terms used in very confusing ways to describe jewelry, especially on Etsy, & it's not clear if they're two names for the same thing or not. For example, some people say that it means a man-made quartz crystal. I also found a blog post saying, that no, hydro quartz is just a deceptive name for glass stones. It would be great to learn more about this, & about what to look for when buying jewelry in general.

I love a uniquely shaped Basra pearl i bought few months ago. Its somewhat a paisley-shaped "circled" pearl set in seemingly antique or vintage style pendant (21 or 22 karat yellow gold). It wasn't drilled but was rather glued. Very obvious orient with bluish tint but body color is white with golden overtone.

The Tahitian Pearl video is how I first found the channel. I was stopping by today because in an online auction I saw a round diamond that showed the black underneath when looking through the front
    😯
But the listing says it a "European cut" not a round brilliant...
But let's get back to the pearls!!!

Wow, I never knew they're 7 different shapes that pearls can be form and yet they look amazing.😯😃🐚⚪ To know how they get their shape and where to find them is very interesting.🤔🏞 My favorites shapes are the sea unicorn ones🐉🌊 and the dog tooth ones. Also pearls are June's second birthstones too. Thanks for letting us know.👩‍🏫 Nice video and see you later.🙂👍⚪

I've found a lovely little "natural" pinkish-orange heart-shaped blister pearl, just not sure how to value it considering it's oddity, unfortunately it hasn't the vivid orient that the shell it was attached to had, instead, it has a very peculiar surface which when viewed under a loupe resembles something akin to a honeycomb pattern.

The largest pearl in the world were found in the island of Philippines(Pearl of the Orient),
a fisherman’s anchor caught it & save their lives, hid it under his bed as lucky item for about 10 years.
The island is also known to produce one of the most sought expensive pearl, the golden south sea pearl. 🤫yet, not very many locals know about it.

This is why there's no oysters anywhere on the Sea walls out here on the beaches in Florida St Pete Beach 33706.
Approximately 2 years ago, I opened my mouth up about pearls. In a instantly everybody started to go gather oysters and clams in Tampa Bay just to get the pearl's.

When it comes to pearls, I like two extremes: perfectly round and messy baroque. 🦪
