I really love the different feel to ramps because of the diverters. The ball lock and mini play field is great too. But the art and theme don't call out to me (the one I play don't have the modded trans light / back glass). Thanks for another great episode and review! 👍🏼
That is correct. In Germany almost nothing under 6000 Euros. I was looking for one with defects to refurbish, but i had no luck One of the best movie-Pinballs ever.

Top 5 game for me, love mine. The art-deco playfield is beautiful but you need to have the Aurich package to supplement it. No pop bumpers make it so quick! Made it to final battle maybe 5 times, been 4 shots from completing it. Great review again guys :)
I know the pin is based off the movie but when it comes to The Shadow it's the old radio program that you have to consider. I commute and listen to audio books and old radio and The Shadow is legit.
Hello fellas, I have owned a shadow machine for years and absolutely love it except for it randomly resets during play. The worst was when I had like 3 shots left to conquer the final battle and the machine reset! Does anyone have any advice on fixing this reset issue? I have replaced the power board and cpu with german made pin led ones and still have this issue.

In episode 9 while you're reviewing Johnny Mnemonic your Star Trek game in the background shows a last game score of 26,158,690, the same score it shows in this episode 23. You've got that great game sitting there and you haven't played it since March 31st? Or do you do several episodes at a time and release them weekly in no particular order?
Damn man good eye. We often record a couple episodes at a time to save travel time (2hrs in between our homes). The Shadow episode kept slipping down our schedule for some reason. Thanks for watching and supporting the show buddy. Star Trek is gone......for now
Shadow is an awesome machine, of all my machines that have come and gone the shadow is the only one I know I will own again one day. One thing worth mentioning about the music and callouts is they are amazingly crisp/clear/dynamic, or at least they were on my machine ( standard speakers fitted, no pinsound etc ), probably the best sound quality I've come across until GB came out. Also the slingshots on mine were very powerful, I don't know why but they were really fast.
It will be a keeper in my collection for a long time. If you have never played it with a colordmd installed you are missing out, because color in this game is amazing, easily top 5.

Art: B Shots/Layout: B+ Rules/Code: B Toys/Innovation: B Music/Call Outs: B+ Theme: B+ I found myself bouncing back and forth between B and B+ for every category. Toys/Innovation -- underwhelming. Black Knight and Flash Gordon also have good upper playfields.
Took me a long time to get to like Shadow, admittedly. It's definitely not a game for the conservative player (ironic given the number of fan-shot layouts derived from what he did afterwards), it's brutal when it's set up properly and the license did it no favours whatsoever at the time, but give it time and you'll appreciate how it's 'different' rather than 'gimmicky'. And this was Brian Eddy's first solo design. Nobody can take that away from him.
The shadow looks like a really damn fun game to play but I'm with Greg on this one I don't really think it's the most attractive looking game ever lol.
I had a really nice Shadow but sold it. Didn't gel with me. I even bought the Aurich translite too. The artwork on the playfield sucks. I really don't know why its rated so highly..

That alternate back glass is stellar in person! Almost a 3D feel to it! I don't mind the original but the one shown is so pretty in person (Greg)

Agree. It truly amazes me that this game is still as cheap as it is. I'd buy this game if it was 6k it's that good of a game.
