Oh, that's nothing. FOX jettisoned the other show David Landsberg created in the early '90s, "My Kind of Town" (a.k.a. "Barclay's Beat"), after zero episodes. There are all seven unaired episodes waiting to be seen. Or not. Well, he sort of bothered to upload most of one of them, so you can see something at least.
I watched this when it originally aired. I was with my grandma and her friend in a hotel room in St. Petersburg, Florida. We laughed really hard at all the jokes and kept repeating some of the lines the whole time we were on vacation! "I'm the putz", "We've gone petite", "She's a supermodel", "I'll see you at the reception"...
I remember an episode where they run out of tampons and the one were Keri Russell is supposed to play Sandy in Grease. Her lines where 'Oh Danny' and 'Oh Danny'.
I remember DADDY'S GIRLS very fondly. In fact I remember having to tape Margaret Cho's sitcom ALL-AMERICAN GIRL (another one-season wonder as DADDY'S GIRLS was), which ran opposite on ABC, just so I could watch Dudley Moore do his thing on his first (and, I guess, only) sitcom. I really enjoyed BOTH shows!!
Omg! This is the holy grail of Dudley Moore rarities -- I've been trying to track this down for nearly 20 years! Do you have any of the other episodes?
Until I found this channel, I had no idea how much David was involved in so many projects. I was hoping to rent a copy of his movie _Detective School Dropouts_ on TH-cam,but it is not available. Maybe I can buy it at Amazon.
Hello kind sir can you please tell me if you have the other 12 episodes of the sitcom available? I would really like to watch and enjoy them please let me know if there are a place on TH-cam or anywhere else to watch the other 12 episodes of this underrated sitcom thank you
It embarrasses me to admit that I remembered every line from that "cramporama" joke. Was that in every single advance promo CBS ran, or did it just seem like it was? It's puzzling Peter Tortorici even ordered this trainwreck to series with Dudley looking and sounding like that. He was obviously ill. Sad to see him trying to carry a show in this state.
Thanks for uploading this "blast from the past". Interesting but I can see why CBS axed it after only airing 3 episodes (with 10 unaired!). Everyone tries hard but it's just not all that funny. Mediocre writing at best. Sadly, Dudley was already showing the signs of the progressive supranuclear palsy that ultimately led to his death in 2002. He's clearly slower in his actions & reactions. Poor fellow.
@@gwenniegirl50 thank you. the question was meant sarcastically. The sketches with Peter Cook are British comedy of the first water. this sit-com is an embarrassment for him.

Wow - This is so sad. Dudley Moore looks like he was just beginning to show the effects of the disease that would end his career and life. His delivery is a bit slow and his energy seems to be flagging. But he had to know this material sucked and was beneath his now fading talents.
No, he wasn't drunk. He was beginning to suffer symptoms of progressive supranuclear palsy which would worsen over the years & result in his death in 2002. :-(
@@kazman_6899He was a musical prodigy as a child and was a great classically trained pianist. Then in the 60's and 70's he was among the top comic actors in the UK film industry, and he did innovative and hilarious comedy with his partner Peter Cook. Then he did Foul Play, 10 and Arthur - all very big hit Hollywood films. After that his career declined. And this show was the nadir.
Originally telecast on September 21, 1994.
CBS jettisoned this series after three episodes. There are ten unaired episodes waiting to be seen. Or not.
I heard they might've been shown overseas, that was the case with a number of sitcoms with unaired episodes in the U.S.
im guessing the Im Too Sexy song is the clue to when it is intended to be release

Dudley shines in whatever he's in. Never knew this existed tbh.
Speaking of Dudley Moore screaming when he saw Amy wearing her wedding gown at 11:12, he also screamed when he saw a bull mastiff named Peanut.
It's really too easy to send me off into a rabbit hole.
Man, I loved Dudley Moore. One immensely talented human being.

Thank you! This was one of my favourite shows as a kid. I must have worn the tapes thin, I still remember most of the jokes.
I've never heard of this show. I love it. Wonderful cast
Me neither/ either
This was quite enjoyable. Would love to see the rest of the series if it’s out there.
Actually very good and funny. Should have been a series.

Moore had an earlier sitcom, "Dudley", which aired on CBS in the spring of 1993.
Didn't know that!! Thanks lots,@@VaultMasterDBT!!! :)
God Bless Dudley Moore

Awww, kind of sad that this show didn't work. I liked Dudley Moore. 😕
Any link online to watch other episodes
Or can any one upload on TH-cam???
I've been looking for this show on TH-cam for yeaaaaaaars. Where was it hidden?
Love Dudley. This was great.
can you upload more episodes ?

The mother was absolutely tasteless. She showed up to her daughter's wedding but she should have left Phil at home.
There were only 3 episodes. God I thought I watched a whole season. All it was was three weeks?
Thirteen were taped. CBS "threw away" a lot of potential new series that season.
@@fromthesidelines I probably saw all 13.
Still funny after 26 years.
I would have watched this show, I know only 3 aired where can we see the others aired?
Stacy Galina was on Knots Landing. ❤
I remember this thank u
I can see why they pulled the plug after 3 episodes.
Keri Russell is an eternal queen
Enid Wexler!
I had a big crush on him as a kid
Dead on arrival. I had no TV in my 20s, and I didn't miss anything.
Is that guy the voice of Yao from Mulan?

this is the same Dudley Moore who did the shepard sketch with Peter CooK?? I don't believe it.
Yes it is the same person

For Rachel Renee Qually and 13 people asap
I dont remember this show, its funny
I think the daughter getting married is a jerk and thoughtless.
