It is a lot of fun catching crabs yourself. They seem to work better than buying a lot of the time, especially if you use them same day your going fishing. Algorithm is sending your videos my way haha, I was just telling someone I was going to go catch crabs for tomorrow morning. The tog bite is real good
Dude, im learning so much from watching this bait series. One of John Skinner's videos started out like this last year but he didn't explain anything. Thanks so much for this video I am so gonna try this at some point.
@@609Fishing Any specifics on how to trap? In other words, if I take a typical minnow trap and open the entryways, and then put bunker inside, where do I have to put the trap, on land or underwater?
I’m in the south Jersey area (TI area) would I find rocky areas in the bay like this closer to the marshland or closer in to the barrier island along the sodbanks, bays and channels? not looking fir spots but rather which area I should look for.
loving this series man! Im definitely gonna do this for Tog season!
Yeah them Tog love these crabs 🦀 thanks for watching Mike 🐺
GREEN CRABS ARE NOW IN LONG ISLAND!
Great bait 🙌

Oh yeah only another week or so and they are open again! Can’t wait to get back on them! Thanks for watching 🙏
How do you keep them alive for like a couple days? Just add a piece of seaweed?
Damp rag on top - store in cool area

Where you in South Jersey??
@@PopPopJoe mostly Atlantic, Cape May, & Ocean Counties
Where is this? Good video! Just subscribed!
Thanks 🙏 South Jersey
Hi where is this?
NJ
Any way to trap these Asian crabs, and not have to physically turn over rocks to catch them?
Yes but it takes a little longer & requires a trap with bait

Great Video - I think I have to use Google Earth to find new locations. My old spots are all picked out. Fishermen can take care of invasive crabs.
Yes they can, I’m fortunate I have a few spots that are a good distance of a walk 1/2-3/4 of a mile. So not many people are hitting it 😂

Honestly any area where there is saltwater & rock coverage should hold them
thanks, Joe. Another great video. You need a shave.
Lol you sound like my wife
Wow didn't know you went to Asia
👍
You’re good
Thanks brother 👍
