It'll make it alot easier on the baler (ie. higher speeds) if you go over all your trimmings with a tedder to dry it out a little and then run a large-ish wind-rower over it to get some proper rows established. I've noticed that even the best "vanilla" balers and forage-bins in the game tend to struggle with even small rows of wet grass trimmings.
Interesting. I always opted for the single mower in front and dual mower in back setup to make the mowing as efficient as possible. But there is something to be said for dragging the windrower behind while you cut like you're doing. The mowing obviously takes a lot longer, but the windrowing is already done at the same time. And instead of having to do an additional step to windrow everything into bigger rows, you end up with ONE ginormous row that can be baled up in one pass.
Rowgue51 you can connect those mowers together and put them on the front of a big tractor and a windrower on the back and double up on both of your ideas in one!

Not really. There isn't a wind rower big enough to where it overlaps with the previous row when you've got a mowing setup that wide.

Instead of naming the horse Gandalf, name it after Gandalfs horse, Shadowfax.
You should get the service trailer mod from modhub and since horses are considered vehicles you should see if it will “fix/repair” your horse
