Oscars Shmoscars! No decent film actually wins, it's all political. It should by rights win everything it hopefully gets a nod for. Cillian deserves it so much!
I remember hearing this at the Cinema, those brasses screaming at the ears... the way everything speeds up and evolves, scares, yet excites me just leaves my stoked. A feeling I'll always be able to recall, all enclosed in a single song.
It should win every Oscar in every category. I have a sinking feeling that the diversity crowd will want to destroy this incredible cinematic achievement

Easily one of the best film scores I've heard in years! Listening to this full-blown while watching the movie in IMAX was nothing short of spectacular. Definitely a movie watching experience for life.
This background score is really perfect and grand. And it's really tough to get it out from your brain once you watch this movie. But more importantly this background score is so perfectly well embedded in the film that it aroused awe suspense thrill. A great and perfect one . ❤️
L'ho visto è un film pazzesco ogni oltre limite immaginabile, dura 3 ore ma mi è sembrato fossero passati 3 minuti quando mi sono alzato per andar via. Le musiche sono stratosferiche. Il miglio film di Nolan.
Watched this in Imax and while I wasn't happy at all with the dialogue audio quality (I don't know why no one is talking about it because I understood about 15-20% of it) the ending scene was mind-blowingly brilliant I felt on the verge of a out-of-body experience.
I feel like I've understood most of it, weirdly enough. I think it's just down to variables with what theater its at, im not sure. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't fully enjoy the movie
4:23. You haven't done any wrong but they won't take their wrongs. So they are desperate to admit you to as wrong and history has to bare witness that.
This is such a beautiful bittersweet theme... an apt theme not only for having wonderful dreams of the future, only to have them be interrupted by nightmares of cleansing fire and wanton world destruction... Almost like it not only fits for the atomic bomb, but also... the waking inevitability of a Lovecraftian deity. So many hopes for life, for dreams... and now the world is fading away as the fabric of reality begins to tear... And the person who was secretly self-aware of what your curiosity was causing, just puts their hand on your shoulder and a knife in your back. "Shh, just let it happen. There is nothing you could do; everything has led up to this... if it wasnt you, it would have just been someone else, and if it wasnt someone else -- it would have been me." "Just let it happen... there was never anything else."
If you all of a sudden started to put forward that you kept a kind of belief in this life and it's so simple. Remind yourself that you are in this existence and the time is to accompany this existence that we knows or push aside as life, why I am saying push aside. Well for the fact that. We are not those who could detect meaning in the values that are there, but we are among that generation of humans probably who are after achievements and in that while we have forgotten that. We unknowingly became the followers of wanting.

Those Trumpets and Winds are perfect. I get goosebumps

so dramatic wau
This soundtrack is going down in history as one of the greatest ever made.
Zimmer has big shoes and Ludwig filled them. And hey, with a first name like that....
You are so right!! I would say it's on the same level as "Now We Are Free" from the movie Gladiator

"Now I am become death, Destroyer of Worlds."

The Oscar goes to
Nolan
Murphy
Ludwig göransson
Also Emily Blunt and Hoytema
Downey Jr is a safe bet
why just Cilian? The entire cast did a fantastic job

Non linear story telling. It was how nolan tried to tell the story from opheihimers point of view. It fragmented out of place on purpose
Just like Nolan once said " if you don't understand it, just feel it "
