This is my dream life. 😭 Living alone, cooking my own meal with my own tiny kitchen, wearing my pajama, doing skincare routine, walking to workplace with no traffic and hassle-free, having my own tiny house. Haist~ 😩 I’m almost 30 but I haven’t fulfilled that dreams. I’m getting old and scared that I will not do what I want in life. Maybe in 5 years I will have my own house cause my salary is not enough to have an instant house.
may • ᴗ • i already bought a lot so I can start building my own house, maybe in 2-4 years. I don’t have any plan on getting married so I can enjoy living my own life.
Pls in which Country do you live in? I could never afford a house or an apartment, doesn’t Matter how much I work and I am a psychologist. So don’t worry, there is a life without penning a full house
Same shit with McDonald's in Russia. Russian MD is a very clean and nice place for dinner or breakfast BUT it's an insane trash hole in America. I don't know how it works.
Hi! This is not meant to terrify you, but you shouldn't put the journey from/to the bus stop to/from your apartment. As a single girl living alone, it's much safer to not put on the internet where you live/ surroundings of your area. Otherwise great video, I enjoy your aesthetic Edit: I didnt expect my comment to be such a debated topic, im thankful but i also realize some who thinks Japan is peachy might be young and do not fully understand how scary the world (and the internet) is, please be kind when replying :))
Yeah every country has this problem especially for people who get popular online. Recently Jonna Jinton from sweeden who lives in the middle of nowhere had a crazed fan find her house and went through a whole ordeal with the police and him breaking into her house trashing her stuff threatening to rape her and standing outside her house naked etc etc. there are A LOT of people out there like this and when you couple it with the TH-cam lurkers and internet fame it’s really more a matter of time and less a matter of if.
A quick tip from Mexico here: Add some rice (uncooked rice haha) to the little salt container, it will prevent the salt to “glue” itself because of the humidity 👌🏼
ELIZABETH MORALES not really 😊 wait till you meet the drunk ossans here in Yokohama at the weekends, it looks like she lives in a small town and this is how small towns' people behave in mostly every country
I was really motivated by watching this video. Some might say living alone is depressing and I admit I too have insecurities about being alone but when I saw this it boosted my confidence because you are taking care of yourself really well. I admire the way you handle yourself everyday and the way you make everyday wholesome. Thank you for filming this. I'm already a big fan. ❤
Her life is soothing, her singing is AMAZINGLY soothing! I have 5 kids and a husband who’s an OTR truck driver, gone for months at a time... just watching her was my way back to sanity lol very relaxing! ❤️

That's exactly my case. I'm turning 21 this year, not big difference. But I really want to graduate and start my independent life living like she does. Looks beatiful and really calm, and I think that's the peace that is lacking in my life right now. Not sure why the youtube algorithm decided to show me this vid, but I'm somewhat glad it did. I wouldn't mind living abroad in Japan for a while. Looks like my type of place, calm and quiet. I was quite surprised that you got out at 6pm and there was almost no traffic. is it usually like that? Here, between 5pm-7:30/8pm is hell on earth. Every man for himself.
A lot of people say Japan is nice to visit but a misery to live in, in terms of work schedules, sexism, isolation, making friends, appealing to society, and the hate against foreigners. I follow a married couple where one is a foreigner and she wasn’t even allowed to adopt a cat.
Tressa, that does make sense. In that note, I must add that everything here in Portugal gets clogged. The train, the bus, the subway, the tram, the roads. 😂 We got nowhere to escape. McSnezzly, not even a cat? Wtf. Is Japan that controlling? Nizah, like you wouldn't believe it. Just today, it took me an hour or so to get home, where usually it takes 20 something minutes! I caught an accident on the way, so not even leaving work at nearly 8pm saved me. 😂 And then starts the car dance, with people switching lanes every few hundred meters.
@Madison Daily She puts a little extra effort in for herself to make sure that what she eats actually looks nice, even though its only for her. This is something a lot of people don't take the time to do, but can really boost how you feel about your life if you do from time to time. Sandra Tebar wasn't "going gaga" over it. They were noticing it and appreciating it with love. How sad that you feel the need to tear down what others appreciate.
@Madison Daily I suppose it's valid to not understand why people enjoy something. But it's' also valid to not understand why you wouldn't rather just ignore the comments and watch the video if it really bothers you so much. Perhaps it is a cultural difference??? I don't know about where you're from, but my culture does not appreciate food and takes it for granted. When you spend time caring for what you eat, appreciating the ingredients by cutting them nicely, spreading them cleanly, and arranging them in a way that is visually appealing, it tends to feel more like a treat for yourself, rather than just sustenance and a serotonin rush. You eat it slower, you enjoy it more. Whereas in my country, people just slop something together, take two seconds to swallow the whole thing, then grab two other items to eat and swallow those too. I think its a good thing to see someone happy with themselves enough to appreciate their life and the time it takes to make their food, even though they're not trying to impress guests. Seeing others happy is typically contagious to people who are receptive to it enough that they want to talk about it and spread the happiness. Nothing wrong with that, right?
@Madison Daily Wow... I have a hard time believing someone can say something so unnecessarily mean yet here you are saying it. I take it that you're very unhappy with your life if you have to tear someone down like that simply for enjoying themselves or appreciating another person's happiness... Perhaps its only difficult for you to understand because you have not personally experienced the pleasure in the simple things in life. But others do. Let people enjoy themselves.
I feel like a lot of why people say it seems lonely is maybe the piano music playing which has a hint of sadness to it? If it was music that was more upbeat and energetic people would be saying she seems like she's fun and carefree 🤔
First of all, when all of that salt poured out and you said “Oh S***” I felt that in my soul. 😂 Secondly, how is this video so motivating and yet relaxing at the same freaking time? 🤔
@@kerry-ann.woodburn3440 In Japan and Korea especially, people are more private. They fear doing something that could make their family, friends, or boss upset. More importantly, many companies specifically disallow their employees to have “side gigs”, and since you can make money on TH-cam, you could lose your job for having a TH-cam channel.
I loved this! So relaxing to watch. I did not find this lonely or sad at all! As a married mom with two teenagers, this looks like a lovely vacation to me. Loneliness and solitude are very different. I admire this young woman’s independence and wish her all the best.

Apparently Japanese Salt doesn’t include an anti-caking agent: that’s why Morton’s table salt has the little girl in rain today and umbrella with the motto “Always Pours”. To help combat that, you can add some dry rice to the shaker, or you can also try placing one of those silica desiccant packages (still in its wrapper, mind you!) on the side of the shaker and then fill it with salt around it.

Jenna dude, it is all appearance. We don’t know what she is really like as a person. Anyone can show off for a video. Having a pristine house is cool but it does not make you a better person. I was quite surprised that you got out at 6pm and there was almost no traffic. is it usually like that? Here, between 5pm-7:30/8pm is hell on earth. Every man for himself.
dRedDevilb ouhm in japan, there isnt much traffic because people mainly use the train thats why its the train that gets clogged.
A lot of people say Japan is nice to visit but a misery to live in, in terms of work schedules, sexism, isolation, making friends, appealing to society, and the hate against foreigners. I follow a married couple where one is a foreigner and she wasn’t even allowed to adopt a cat.
"Every man for himself" 😂😂😂
Tressa, that does make sense. In that note, I must add that everything here in Portugal gets clogged. The train, the bus, the subway, the tram, the roads. 😂 We got nowhere to escape.
McSnezzly, not even a cat? Wtf. Is Japan that controlling?
Nizah, like you wouldn't believe it. Just today, it took me an hour or so to get home, where usually it takes 20 something minutes! I caught an accident on the way, so not even leaving work at nearly 8pm saved me. 😂 And then starts the car dance, with people switching lanes every few hundred meters.
McSnezzly I would agree with you on that note, Japan looks good on the outside, but when you enter the society, its a whole different story.
I love she prepares a beautiful plate just for her
@Madison Daily What?
@Madison Daily Are you okay? Serious question.
As an introvert this is extremely soothing to me
I feel like a lot of why people say it seems lonely is maybe the piano music playing which has a hint of sadness to it? If it was music that was more upbeat and energetic people would be saying she seems like she's fun and carefree 🤔

Japan is such a calm country, it’s actually amazing
Her home, her life is so neat, clean, compact and structured- it gives me the chills. Life is often messy, it has been for me, so where's the catch!
This is a lesson in simple living....so relaxing to watch.

@@yourmomdoes9838 I never said theres scientific evidence proving that's the reason why Japan has so many people committing suicide, but both statements ARE facts about Japan and COULD be related so it is food for thought. Gtfoh
